Interviewer: So Sir, how does that explain the fact that celibacy is not scientifically possible? Apostle Constance C. Friday: A Man/Woman has to be biologically abnormal to have no desire for sex at all. Even the asexual individuals in the LGBTQ analysis often manifest sexual inclinations once in a while but since your spirituality should be prioritised above your biology, you should CONTROL your sexual desires and not allow your sexual desires control you. Only animals or beasts are controlled by their biological needs, that's why this cuts across sex, it also spreads into man's craving for food, and other forms of lust, greed, emotions and desires. If the clergyman sees a woman he feels attracted to, he should restrain himself from falling into sexual sin with her. Especially if he interacts with her regularly, the same thing is applicable to the clergywoman. If he/she is unmarried and finds that woman or man constantly attractive, desirable and pleasing to his/her heart and soul, then he/she should get married to that woman or man, so when the biology kicks in, it doesn't become the opportunity for Satan to strike. If you're married already and the same thing happens you must restrain yourself lest you fall into the sin of adultery. If you fall into the sin of adultery, get back up and don't fall into that sin again. If you fall into the sin of adultery or sexual immorality over and over and over again, you need to ask for prayers to be made. Pray to God to strengthen you to stand against the temptations to indulge in all forms of sexual immorality. Interviewer: You still haven't clearly explained why celibacy is not scientifically possible Sir! Apostle Constance C. Friday: I just did. I said that beasts or animals are controlled by their scientific or biological desires for sex, food, mates etc But transformed beings who are not mere beasts control their scientific or biological needs or desires. This technically means that celibacy is not scientifically possible but it's spiritually possible. That's why I said when you pray, the spiritual strength to maintain celibacy or to confine one's sexual activities into the framework of marriage is given or provided by God and the body of Christ can be protected from all kinds of attacks by Satan and his agents. Interviewer: When you say how you do it, what do you mean? Apostle Constance C. Friday: There are 2 sides to this "how you do it" that I just said. You know, sexual matters are not freely discussed within the religious circles but it is happening, and we're seeing a lot of ignominious headlines in the news, plus it's always a big one when a clergyman is involved. Few months ago, on a Saturday night precisely; a Bishop went to the hotel to have sex with a female church member who was his secret lover for sometime. While they were having sex, the lady died and the Bishop sneaked out of the hotel room and went to church the next day to perform his priestly duties like nothing had happened last night only for the police officers to come midway through the church service to arrest and take him into custody. If this happened to an ordinary person who wasn't a clergyman, the press may not find it sensational enough to publish, but because it was a well known Bishop in Abia State, it was on the front page and awash all over the online blogs. This means there is this belief that all clergymen are not mortal, thus they're not expected to engage in activities that are sexual in nature at all at all and that is one of Satan's weapons of attack against the preaching of the gospel. Interviewer: So this means from what you've just said that clergymen are mortal and should engage in sex when the need arises? Apostle Constance C. Friday: No, that's not what I said. Having sex with someone you're not married to is not the right way to do the sexual thing. That's why Apostle Paul said, it's better to get married so you could overcome the temptations to fall into sexual sin and express all your passion with your spouse. Read 1 Corinthians 7:8-9 What's worse than having sex with someone who's not your spouse is having sex with them without consent. That's rape! Those are the two sides I'm talking about. |

Apostle Constance C. Friday: No I didn't, although we took an oath of dedication to doing the right things at all times in accordance to the scriptures, we didn't outrightly swear an oath of celibacy like my colleagues in the Roman Catholic section of my faith. I respect and admire my Roman Catholics colleagues, but it's not scientifically possible to maintain or keep an oath of celibacy because the human body is designed to go against celibacy. Interviewer: Does that mean you endorse that clergymen/women should engage freely in sexual action when they feel like? Apostle Constance C. Friday: I don't endorse that, neither do I condemn those who slip and fall into such acts due to the nature of man. Like I said it's not scientifically possible to remain a celibate for life, if anyone is such it must really be a great deal of sacrifice and in fact, it's not exactly in tandem with God's design of man to procreate. Man's desire to engage in sex or sexual actions is God given. It's a supernatural design installed in man to ensure continuity of life, so sex is not a bad thing. Fulfilment: The Heaven of finding your purpose in life Finding your purpose and fulfilling your purpose and Why it's as important as life itself: Take a good look at the life of a man or woman who missed the mark (failed to fulfil purpose), no matter how good he/she looks on the outside, they've got hell fire burning and raging in them because they didn't reach the heaven of their lives. What is the heaven of a man's life? The heaven of a man's life is his attainment of fulfilment of his dreams and the manifestations of the good will of God for his life here on earth as it is in heaven. The phrase "here on earth as it is in heaven" Means that one is able to manifest the heavenly plan or blueprint of God for his/her life as it's written exactly on the scripts of heaven in the hands of God when he created you and deployed your existence here in the humanity of man's earthly existence. This means if your life is not an exact "print out" of the original blueprint of God in his heavenly blueprint of your purpose of existing here on earth as it is in heaven, then life is a picture of hell's purpose for human existence. So fulfilling your purpose is as important as life itself. Being alive is of no use if your life is not a "print out" of the heavenly plan or blueprint of God in his will for your life. For example; Politicians who misrule or misgovern the people do so because they are not "printing out" the exact copy of God's blueprint for man's leadership or rulership over his fellow men. Which if they do, they can manifest heaven on earth as it is in heaven. Parents who become a thorn in the flesh to their offsprings become thus because they didn't fulfil anything else except raising the children. Now raising children is not dishonourable, but if after raising them you become the clog in their wheels of actual progress in life, it's as good as wasting all the time and years you put into bringing them into existence. Sometimes we ask: why do we have the kind of parents we have when there are awesome and wonderful parents here and there? Now imagine that the likes of Bill Gates, Aliko Dangote, Elon Musk, Femi Otedola, Jeff Bezos and so on were your parents? Would the toxic amount of pressure you feel to place a plate of food on every table be as much as it is? Now I know it's unwise for the child of a rich man to relax and do little or nought because his/her parents are always there for them. (I'm also not advising anyone to be irresponsible). Now the likes of the wealthy men I mentioned above have fulfilled their purpose in life. When you fulfil purpose on earth, life rewards you with so much wealth and riches that men cannot phantom or let me simply say "understand". Such kind of fulfilled men or women don't feel the need to turn themselves into gold statues that suck the life out of their children because they didn't spend their life only raising children because a man who doesn't see himself or herself as a gold statue of Nebuchadnezzar (i.e a god that must be worshipped) know that he or she exists to serve others just as Jesus said; "The greatest among you is the one who gets down to serve others" Matthew 23:11-12 This means that losing yourself in service to others is the way to become a god amongst men. No man transforms into a god by holding onto himself, men who lose themselves in service to others are the ones who become gods and real gods don't force men to worship them, real gods impact peoples lives so positively that people choose to worship them by themselves! Unfulfilled Prophecies: Why and What to do. It's the onset of a brand new year and so many clergymen are dishing out lots of prophecies. This will happen, that will happen, pray against this, pray against that, I see this, I see that, etc, etc. Some of them make us scared, a bit worried, while some excite us (Especially if the Prophet predicts good events). However, sometimes the Prophet prophesies and we don't see it happen either exactly how he or she said it would happen or otherwise. First I need to let us know that Prophecies are very important parts of the ministry, if not our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ himself wouldn't prophesy about the last days and the book of Revelations, plus all the books of the major and minor prophets would not be included in the Holy Bible. 1 Thessalonians 5:19-22 (KJV) says: 19 "Quench not the Spirit. 20 Despise not prophesyings. 21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 22 Abstain from all appearance of evil." From the way it was highlighted above, it's pretty clear that despising or inhibiting the ministry or the ministrations of prophecies in the church is an act of quenching the spirit of God. And what is more dangerous than driving a car with no brakes or steering wheels is running a church or ministry where prophets are gagged and prophecies are not welcomed. However to my dear Prophets; it's important to demonstrate some restraint, especially if the act of prophesying could disrupt some orthodox processes and create some bit of opprobrium. Anyways, i'm a big fan of Prophecies and genuine harbingers of the Prophetic ministry are welcome at the Real Life Gospel Network. NOW LET'S LOOK AT THE OMEN OF UNFULFILLED PROPHECIES. Sometimes the Prophet says that this and that will happen or occur and then these and those will follow. But we all wait, expect and anticipate and it doesn't happen. Nothing happens, in fact the opposite seems to be happening! We witnessed this during the last elections. Now talking about the last elections may cause some of my readers some bit of pain. We all know that there were all kinds of prophecies that candidate XYZ will win but it ended up being candidate ABC winning! WHY DO SOME PROPHECIES NOT MANIFEST: When Prophecies don't come to pass, most People point their left index fingers at the Prophet. Even the best of Prophets e.g Prophet T.B. Joshua (of blessed memory) had some prophecies that hit the cross bar. You know what I mean.  That doesn't mean they're fake and that doesn't mean there are no false prophets. There actually are those who allow THE LYING SPIRIT to use them to deceive the King to go to war and have himself killed! ~ Read 1 Kings 22:5-12 Why are unfulfilled prophecies rampant lately and what are the causes and what can you do as a genuine believer to keep yourself from being led down the hole? Here are the 2 main loops that intertwine to cause even genuine prophecies to sometimes hit the cross bar: 1. The Spirit of the audience: There are two types of audience (i) An Individual and, (ii) Collective audience (Group of People). In the book of 1 Kings 22:5-12 King Ahab was the kind of person or individual who didn't welcome genuine prophets and genuine prophecies. The brutal genuineness or authenticity of the prophecies of the Prophet Elijah made the King Ahab hate him and on some occasions he called Prophet Elijah the enemy of Israel. When it was time for war, all the Prophets who were called to minister to King Ahab were all telling lies. Were these Prophets fake? No, not really! All the Prophets he called to the platform were genuine but they were all telling lies to psyche up the King and get their cheques after the party was done! There are some sensitive situations where the Prophets decide to make prophetic declarations that are emotional bandages or embalmments (instead of the harsh prophetic realities). Only Folks who're sensitive in the Spirit won't be let astray in such moments! 2. The response to the Prophecy: When a prophecy is declared, the actions that follow can either cause the prophecy to be fulfilled or vice-versa. A genuine prophet can prophesy to you that you will be awarded a billion dollar contract at your place of work. You have to prepare yourself in all ambits or areas where you ought to be ready for landing such an opportunity, if not it may come and slip through your keeper's gloves! How People respond to a prophecy determines what happens next. I remember recently I was sent by God to prophesy to a popular multinational business corporation that a big fall was imminent if certain things were not done. Now, this business corporation was doing very well across the nation and as at the time I was trying to deliver the prophecy to them they were ahead of their rivals in some important parts of the marketplace. Their response to my prophecy was quite poor, and they even began to say other things that didn't sound good to one's auditory perceptions. Few years later, their business corporation had lost so much grip and control in the marketplace while their rivals took over every nook and cranny of the marketplace. That business corporation as I speak is presently clutching to a straw to stay relevant in the economic stratosphere. If they'd responded affirmatively to the prophecy I delivered that time, that wouldn't have happened. So it's not really about the prophet or the prophecy but how you respond to the prophecy that determines what happens next. A prophecy was released last year that a particular well known public figure who's presently in jail for political reasons would be set free. But the way this particular individual and his group treat Prophets, and respond to the Gospel is the reason why he's still locked up right now. I have this to say to him: "Bro, you can see that the person who committed the same kind of offence you committed at the other end of the map has been released, while you're still locked up. If you stop treating the Prophets of God the way you treat them. If you repent from your sins and accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, you will be set free" Genuine Prophecies from genuine prophets will come to pass if the actions you take in response to the prophecies they bring to you are affirmative and not negative. The 4 kinds of Audience of the GOSPEL: There are 4 kinds of audience of the GOSPEL. Not the gospel alone but every kind of industrial endeavour that enables you to carry out some form of mass influence or the other, I'll talk about this topic in terms of the gospel. Greetings to you beloved. Let's dive right into the matter. #1. THE IGNORANTS: These are the ones who are in the dark, the ones who don't know a thing about what you're trying to talk about. They can't see the light, thus they are not categorised as enlightened. In this category of people, there are two distinct groups. (i) Those who are ignorant but are willing to learn: These are the ones who are ignorant but are willing to learn. They are humble and avail themselves every opportunity to learn. There's hope for an ignorant man who is willing to learn. (ii) Those who are ignorant and unwilling to learn: These are the ones who are in darkness, yet they don't desire to become enlightened. They don't avail themselves to every opportunity or chance to learn. Such kind of Folks cannot be helped and there's barely any hope for an ignorant man who is unwilling to learn. Ignorance is not an excuse, what you don't know can hurt you real good. When you don't know, you don't know. #2. THOSE WHO LISTEN BUT NEITHER LEARN NOR APPLY WHAT THEY HEAR TO THEIR LIVES: These are Folks who pay attention to information, but they only listen. They don't learn or take down any form of mental or actual notes. The teachings slide across their ears, or as we proverbially say; knowledge gets in through one ear and leaks out through the other ear. Such kind of individuals suffer the same fate as the ignorant. #3. THOSE WHO LISTEN AND LEARN, BUT DON'T APPLY WHAT THEY HEAR TO THEIR LIVES: These are Folks who pay attention to information. They listen, they learn or take down mental or actual notes, but they don't apply it to life. The teachings end up on paper, or in notebooks but never is one bit of the teachings applied to their lives. Such kind of individuals still suffer the same fate as the ignorant. #4. THOSE WHO LISTEN AND LEARN AND APPLY WHAT THEY LEARN TO LIFE: These are Folks who pay attention to information. They listen, they learn or take down mental or actual notes, and they apply what they learn to life. The teachings end up on paper, or in notebooks and all the teachings or information are applied to their lives. Such kind of individuals will not suffer the same fate as the ignorant. Such kind of individuals live sophisticated lives that are devoid of the troubles, perils and travails of ignorance. Which group do you belong to. I'll recommend the 4th group because they're the only ones who live their lives to the fullest. They're blessed because they obey what's written in James 1:22-25 KJV "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: for he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed." Circumstantial Instructions: How GOD speaks to us through circumstances: GOD is speaking to you. Can you hear him? We all think that God only limits his means of communicating to Man to just "the Bible", the Holy Spirit, or the Prophets. No, even by simply taking a trip to the beach, watching animals behave, visiting a forest, reading a graffiti etc etc, you can hear God speaking to you. CIRCUMSTANTIAL INSTRUCTIONS FROM GOD TO MAN: (How GOD speaks to us through our circumstances.) God is speaking to you right now in so many ways and in diverse voices. Especially through your circumstances. Circumstances are the way things are with you presently, both privately and publicly. It is also the way things are with the people around you. Plus how both situations intersect. The intersection of both circumstances is the ultimate indicator of an individual either being in a state of eudaimonia or in a lugubrious state. Whether you find yourself in an eudamonic state or in a lugubrious state, your circumstance is a form of instruction that directs you on the next step to take. For example: The Prodigal Son after his profligacy found himself in a place and point where he even longed to join pigs to eat pig food. The horrible state he found himself brought him back to his senses. Luke 15:17-20 He was like: "Hey, wait a second! I'm a majestic prince for goodness sake. How on earth did it get so bad that I'm even trying to share some pig food with a bunch of pigs?" His negative circumstances brought him back to his senses. GOD explains to us why he allows or permits a few things to bring us some tears. It's because being too happy can cause you to forget yourself and in fact end up throwing garbage in God's face. If Sarah knew she was discussing with GOD, would she have laughed at God's declaration and lied even when God questioned her? What about the rich guy who got so carried away with the bliss of making large lumps of profits until he denied GOD of his praises and had to pass that very same night. Don't end up like the rich fool. Luke 12:16-21 Our circumstances are indicators of the state of our relationship with GOD. GOOD CIRCUMSTANCES: indicate that God is pleased with you and then he's letting you have some time to enjoy some fatness of his endless and unsearchable wealth and riches. BAD CIRCUMSTANCES: doesn't mean that God is absent or that God is not with you, it could mean that God is passing you through a process and, if your relationship with him is perfect and top notch, such bad situations won't exist for a long time. When bad circumstances linger longer than necessary, it means something is not right between you and God and you need to visit the drawing boards. With that in mind, let's look at more examples of Circumstantial Instructions: Example 2: The Israelites in the wilderness for example is a typical case of a bad circumstance that lasted longer than it was supposed to. They weren't supposed to stay that long in the wilderness but due to their unbelief in God, the worshipping of the golden calf, Korah, Dathan and Abiram's insurrection plus so many more issues, they had to be stuck in the wilderness for decades until finally an entire generation of them passed away. Joshua 5:6 Take a look at your present circumstances right now and ask yourself what you think GOD is trying to communicate to you through them. It actually makes sense to pray and have a prayerful discussion with God on the matter, then find out the next step to take. Example 3: When the Brook Cherith dried up, the Prophet Elijah had no more water to drink. It was then that God instructed him to go to the Widow's house, and that marked the historic story of Prophet Elijah and the Widow of Zarepheth. 1 King 17:1-7 Example 4: When persecutions sprang out in the early church, the early Christians were dispersed in various different directions. God designed those persecutions to cause the gospel to spread all over Europe and to so many parts of Asia, and Africa. This resulted in the various missionary journeys of the Apostle Paul of Tarsus. It also contributed to the multiplication of the Church across the world eventually. Acts 8:1-5 What you're experiencing right now, is an instructive mechanism from GOD to go back to the analytical drawing board of your relationship with him and if your relationship is good, he wants it to be better and then from that you can have the best not just for you to sit back and start slapping your chest in self praise but for all men to see the wonder he's done in your life and give him all the praises he deserve. This is because your life is designed to be a channel of praises and thanksgiving and worship to GOD and when sinners see how God is good to you for being righteous, they will turn from their sinful ways and follow the path of righteousness in obedience to God's commandments as he wishes and as he wills for all men to do. To Mr J.S* a priest who quit being a full time seminarian (priest) and returned to the secular world and is presently doing very well in his various secular businesses: God isn't mad at you for quitting the gospel Ministry. If I'd met you before you threw in the towel, I'd have encouraged you not to do so. You're into the motivation industry right now (it's closely related to the pure orthodox gospel ministry). Quitting doesn't mean you can't come back. There are lots and lots of gospel ministers who quit for a while and returned right back to the game after a while. There are a few good reasons why ministers quit gospel ministry, Mission attrition is one of them, piss poor funding or sponsorship, excessive persecution, serious moral issues, etc etc But those who don't quit inspite of all these are really strong. I salute them. Those who quit, it's okay, you can still return if you wish, but if you don't, no issues. The HARDEST teachings and statements of Jesus and what they mean: Many of us are used to the soft, tender and comforting statements of Jesus. I call them the pillow talks of our lord and saviour Jesus Christ. The beatitudes for example are some of the pillow talks from our Lord and saviour Jesus. They are among the most promising, reassuring and the most comforting parts of the scriptures. Just as we don't expect every word that comes from the mouth of our loved ones to be soft at all times, Jesus on some occasions used hard statements to hammer down his points. Those who were weak, or shallow in the understanding revelations found some of these teachings too hard to chew or too oversized to be digested. The truth however is that these hard statements from Jesus when applied to life issues solves some of man's hardest problems (except the extremely stubborn ones that require fasting and prayers). In this message, we shall look at 8 of the hardest teachings and statements from Jesus and what they meant. Remain Blessed as you digest what you once thought was too large to consume or digest one by one. (1.) Let the dead bury their own dead: This was seen as a hard statement because Jesus made that statement when a young man he was inviting to follow him gave him some excuses. Now this appeared somewhat cold and insensitive on the part of our lord and saviour Jesus, but was our messiah actually being insensitive? In Luke 9:59-60 ESV "Jesus called another, he said Follow me. Lord he said, first let me go bury my father. But he told him Let the dead, bury their own dead, but you go and spread the news of the kingdom of GOD." Meaning: Let the dead bury their dead means, that worldly affairs should be left for worldly people to handle. Let issues that are of the world be left for those who are of the world to do, but you who are not of the world (who are called by God to be transformed and not to conformity) should dedicate yourselves to the preaching of the good news of the Kingdom of God. (2.) Cut off your right hand and pluck out your right eye: During one of his teachings, Jesus said that if one's right eye or right hand would lead him/her to hell fire, he or she shouldn't be hesitant to cut the hand off or pluck that eye out. Matthew 5:29-30 ESV "If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. For it's better to lose a part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. And if your right hand will cause you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it's better to lose a part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell" Meaning: Jesus wasn't only talking about adultery in this context, he was also talking about all kinds of sin that can lead one to hell fire. The Woman that is being looked at lustfully in verse 27-28 of the same chapter represents "one's desire to commit any kind of sin" Verse 28 says "if you look at a woman lustfully, you've already committed adultery in your heart" It means; if you think of committing any kind of sin and you truly desire to do so in actual intents, you've already committed that sin in your heart. So cutting your right hand off or plucking out your right hands means getting rid of the things that can trigger the desire to commit any kind of sin from around you. For example, if you feel tempted to steal and cover it up expertly with the good use of pen and paper, and you really have a real intent to do it, you've already done it in your heart even if the opportunity to do it or the fear of consequences may immobilise you or discourage you to carry out your intents. If watching music videos with naked women dancing here and there can trigger the desire to commit sexual sin, tune out of the TV station or dispose off the materials that have such images. Cutting off your right hand or plucking out your right eyes means getting rid of the things that can cause you to have the desire to sin. If watching a heist movie can cause you to feel like doing evil to get rich, shut off the TV station. It also means, cutting off from relationships and bad influences that can lead you to sin against God even if it's filial in nature. The right hand represent those who have a filial connection to you. Jesus says even if members of your family can cause you to end up in hell, it's better to excise from them. (3.) You unbelieving and perverse generation, how long will I put up with you: During one of the many miracles of Jesus, he suddenly said Matthew 17:17 "You unbelieving and perverse generation, how long will I put up with you ( tolerate you)?" Interpretation: When you don't believe (your unbelief), you displease God and when you misuse God's word you become someone who God tolerates. How long do you think God can tolerate the displeasure of your unbelief and perversion? How long can you tolerate it from your fellow men? If you find it displeasing, think about how displeasing your unbelief and perversion is to God. (4.) Go sell all you have and give to the poor: This happened during the conversation Jesus had with the young rich ruler. The reason was because the young ruler was trying to portray himself as perfect. Let's see why Jesus said so Matthew 19:16-22 by highlighting the conversations. Young Ruler: "Good teacher, what good must I do to have eternal life?" Jesus Christ: "Why do you ask me about what is good? There is only one who is good, if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments" (Jesus said this because he could tell the intents of the young ruler. The young ruler was trying hard to get Jesus to verify that he's a righteous man in front of the multitude who were listening to his sermon on that day). Young Ruler: "Which of the commandments? (Which ones?)" Jesus Christ: "Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not bear false witness, honour your parents, and love your neighbours as yourself" Young Ruler: "I have kept all these (commandments) what else do I still lack?" (Technically he was saying: I am perfect, why not say it or confirm it here for everyone to hear?) Jesus Christ: "There is one thing you lack, sell all you have, give it to the poor...then come and follow me." (5.) The harsh curse on the fig tree: Matthew 21:18-19 After spending the night at Bethany, Jesus got up in the morning and he was hungry. He saw a fig tree and sought to get some fruits from the tree, but saw that the tree only had leaves and no fruits. Normally, an ordinary man may overlook the tree and move onto the next but Jesus cursed that tree and the tree withered. Interpretation: Jesus Christ knew before time that this incident will be recorded. But why did he curse the fig tree? We all are the trees that Jesus has planted. Jesus Christ was the creator of all things ( he is God in the flesh or human form who came as a model for all men to have a quality relationship with God the father, who is a Spirit). The fig tree and every other tree in existence were created by God and our creator is hungry for fruitfulness. When you're not fruitful (you're not bearing good fruits) you leave God starved of his food (which are the praises of Men) and instead of blessings you'll get a curse. It is important to note that the words "Be Fruitful and multiply" which are recorded in Genesis 1:28 are not mere words, it's a command. (6.) Tie him up hand and foot and throw him into the outer darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth: Matthew 22:13 This was taken from the parable of the King and his banquet recorded in Matthew 22:1-14 The King in the Parable is Jesus Christ, the King himself. But why did he ask for a man to be tied up and thrown out into outer darkness? Let's analyse the matter atomically. Matthew 22:11-14 ESV "When the King came in to see the guests, he saw a man who was not dressed for a wedding. When he asked the Man why he wasn't dressed up for a wedding, the Man was speechless, then he (the King) commanded that the man should be tied up and thrown into the outer darkness " Interpretation: The wedding of the King is the marriage of King Jesus to his bride "the Church" and he requires that every guest must be dressed for a wedding. What does it mean to be dressed for a wedding? It means being prepared or ready for the day of the Lord. The day of the Lord that comes like a thief in the night. You must be ready at all times for you do not know what time it is or what moment it may be. When the King comes to ask you about your dressing for the King's banquet you must have answers. In Matthew 22:13 it is written that "the King questioned the Man about his shabby dressing for the wedding banquet but the Man was speechless (had no answers)." You must be found wanting on the day of questioning and reckoning. That's what it simply means. (7.) Woe to you Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Matthew 23:29 In [Matthew 23, Jesus Christ repeatedly rained down curses upon the Pharisees, and Scribes of Israel (of that time). Because they were very religious but were not spiritual. He called them "Whitewashed sepulchres" The Graves of that time that were full of rotting, maggot ridden dead bodies were painted and designed to look beautiful as a sign of the wealth of that time. These graves really looked beautiful in outward appearance but had rotting and stinking corpses within them. This was the condition of the hearts of these Pharisees and Scribes whom Jesus called "hypocrites" point blank. What makes a person a hypocrite is "when he or she puts in all the effort into appearing religious but not having the Spirit of God dwelling in them and working through them." (8.) Except you eat my flesh and drink my blood you cannot see the Kingdom of God: Now this was one of the most controversial moments in Christ's ministry. It is recorded that this incident caused very many of his disciples to turn away from following him. In the land of Israel, eating of the human flesh and the drinking of human blood was considered and act of witchcraft and it was practised (secretly) among occult groups who made strong demonic sacrifices in their covens. When Jesus said in John 6:53 NIV "Jesus said to them, Very truly, I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you." Many of his disciples didn't clearly understand (at that exact point in time) that to be able to overcome the strong negative spiritual energy that's being released from the occultist's coven they needed to generate a stronger energy from an opposing coven. Yes you may call this what you call it, but in warfare if you're fighting with aggressors who have sophisticated weapons, will you confront them with bare hands and expect to win? So in actual sense Jesus was trying to give his disciples ammunition for the warfare ahead of them. Most of them walked away except Apostle Peter, so Jesus handed the bag of ammunitions to Apostle Peter and he would as instructed by Jesus end up distributing these ammunitions to his disciples. Read Matthew 16:18 KJV "And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."
