Nigerian writer narrates how God compensated her after she was scammed by a fake real estate agent

A Nigerian writer has narrated how she was duped by a fake real estate agent and how God compensated her eventually.

@anafrricandiva revealed that in 2009 she made an initial deposit of N150, 000 to an agent for a mini flat, only to later discover that she had been scammed and the house had been rented out to dozens of other people too.

She said she developed malaria immediately. However, two months after the incident, a friend of hers gave her a fully furnished 3-bedroom flat in Ikoyi to live in rent-free for five months.

It was in that apartment that she met the man who is now he husband.

Arrest Yahoo boys and stop harassing innocent young Nigerians- President Buhari tells Police

Worried by the repeated stories of harassment from policemen shared by many young Nigerians, President Buhari has cautioned men of the Nigerian Police to stop with the indiscriminate arrest of young Nigerians in their bid to arrest `yahoo criminals.’


The President gave this word of caution when he spoke at the opening ceremony of the Conference and Retreat for Senior Police Officers in Lagos on Monday October 28th.

Represented by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, President Buhari said that the service the police force rendered was one Nigerians could not do without as it was the closest to the grassroots.

“Recently many civil society groups have complained about the arrest of young men and women just because they look successful and are carrying laptops. Yes we must apprehend yahoo criminals but we cannot harass young men and women on the streets and in taxis, most of whom are merely going about their legitimate businesses.
“There are also cases of extra judicial killings and injuries; misuse of weapons and excessive use of force by some members of the force. This sort of conduct by a few bad police officers must stop, and it is the duty of you senior and strategic leaders of the Police force to ensure that impunity of any kind is discouraged and punished where it is found.’’ President Buhari said


The President added that the Nigeria Police force was one of the proudest national assets as it was the largest police force in Africa.

So here is what happened. Two days ago, a Nigerian couple, Mayowa and Glory Osei, were called out on Twitter for owing their staff salaries. Toke joined other Nigerians to condemn the act of some employers that owe their staff despite making profit in their business ventures.

The OAP said this while responding to a follower who questioned why he was promoting flamboyant Hushpuppi without questioning his source of income.


Daddy Freeze shared a video of an interview he did showcasing Hushpuppi's luxury Versace home and Twitter users called him out for it.

I now live with the emotions of three women, I wouldn't wish my enemy that - Ubi Franklin says on daughter's birthday

Ubi Franklin expressed anguish of living with the emotions of three women (excluding his fourth baby mama, Sandra Iheuwa) as he celebrated his daughter, Zaneta's birthday today August 30.

Sharing a beautiful photo of his daughter in celebration of her fourth birthday, the music executive stated that Zaneta's mother deserves a medal for playing her role as a mother and also some of his as a father.

Ubi further revealed that he is still searching for the best formula of being a good father as he wouldn't wish his enemy his current state of living with the emotions of three women.

It’s been four years already my little smart and energetic zee mama.
Last four year has been about your mum and she really deserves an award for everything she has been doing and if we have to share responsibility she has done 50% of mine and adding to 100% she brings to the table.
THE PURPOSE OF GOD WILL NOT BE VOIDED BECAUSE OF FEELINGS OF MEN.

The world may have a different view of how I have had you and your two brothers and in my heard I am wondering the best formula to live well in life and be a good father.

One thing you took form me is, we don’t like food .

Alexis Sanchez has completed his loan move to Inter Milan from Manchester United after fallen out of favour at Old Trafford.


The Italian club reportedly agreed to pay close to £4.5m of the Chile international's £21m annual salary, while United will pay a significant portion of his wages.

DJ Arafat, a popular Ivorien entertainer died on Monday August 12, after being involved in a motorcycle accident and subsequently rushed to the hospital on Sunday August 11.



The "coupe-décalé" star died as a result of the injuries he sustained from the accident at a hospital in Abidjan. It was learnt that his motorcycle was hit by a car driven by a journalist from Radio Côte d'Ivoire. DJ Arafat was unconscious while being rushed to the hospital and sadly didn't survive the incident.


His death has been confirmed by Nigerian superstar Davido, who penned down a tribute to him on Instagram. He wrote;
