Really. Thanks for the heads-up but if you truly understand how their news policy works it would help us.

don't Open a position 2minutes before the news and 2minutes after the news.. meaning, you can open a position from 3minutes after the news upward.

that's a total of 4minutes danger period.. (2minutes before and 2 minutes after the news)

and when you are already holding a position before the news, ensure you close down the position 2minutes before the news to avoid story that touches.

that news rules is not applicable to when you are taking challenge. it only applicable to live account. you can trade the news on challenge

Honestly it wasn't all that rosy.
some silly mistake really cost me badly..
I mistakenly open a 5 lot position instead of 0.5 lot on my very first trade.
withing a seconds before I know whats happening, I'm already at 1.4% in drawdown. it pained me so much and got me emotional to the point that I started acting erratic in the market chasing the loss. and you know what happen when you get emotional, you throw the logic and plan away and start trading purely out of emotion.. that's what happened to me. I refuse to tame my emotional outburst from the first error and it results to more losess. now I'm 2.1,% down.

I think I was just lucky, if not I would have lost the account..
but I'm calm now Sha.. this weekend help calm me down to re-organise.

karks, your analysis on the direction of the market are almost always right, but I notice the market usually takes you out before it goes on as you forecasted... don't you think if there is any way you can tweak your strategy regarding your entries?

That's one of the reasons i give it to MFF, these guys u mentioned have an account with them, you are not restricted by news. TFT has about 4 different types of account (Royal, knight, Standard and another one I can't remember. I think Roya account supports news trading. I have standard and knight.

so they finally respond again. I think they are having issues compiling the list that's why they are delaying. But according to them, prizes Will be given within next week.

I thought I was the only one. I hate that mt5 and likely cos I have perfected my system with mt4 using indi's and EA's. If MT4 is eventually scrapped. I will struggle with trading for sure

you will get used to mt5 eventually

nobody used to hate mt5 More than me.. but here I am now
I don't even want to look at mt4 again
