iziegbby: I was just saying this....people were rallying everywhere, then all of a sudden it just stopped..as if the girls were found...its a shameIn fact, it's so bad. I sent a mail to you. Check your box. |
MARCH, 5. Anyone? I will be so happy to meet my birthday mate |
In life, no knowledge/experience is useless. Knowledge you are gaining from that would be useful for you in one way or the other at the later day. Just make sure you don't allow the politics to distrupt your academics. Be blessed. |
Indomie Noodles ad should be on top of that least. In the ad you see a cooked Indomie with an egg and fried turkey but when you buy your own... nah no turkey, no egg. Lol! |
old and dry joke! |
Educative! But I think those are the markers of Nigerian English, if there is one (officially). |
I guess that was an effect of Marijuana on her. She must have smoked 10 wraps before that outburst. |
pappyrose: Thank u for the complementYou are rightly welcome. |
Nice one. @Op keep it up. |
pappyrose: I don't agree with d OP. The opposite of all d mentioned is the case for me.Reading your comment, I had to rush and check your picture and you didn't disappoint me. You are beautifully and wonderfully made. |
tinkinjow: No I'm not serious. You'd have understood if you lost a love one. And since you're good at praying, I also pray that your child, sister, brother, mother, father, uncle, auntie nephew, niece or whatever be not kidnapped but killed so that you see whether they'll even lit a candle for them. Then you'll tell me which is more painful. And whether CNN and those human righters will stand out in the sun just for a single day in memorialSo you really want those girls killed. I was thinking I was talking to a human not knowing you are something else.... Though, my relatives are not among but I can't stop imagining having one has a close relative. You can easily say it's politics because you are dodging behind one old computer typing rubbish without ever for one day stop to think about the trauma that the parents of those kids are passing through. I know this because I have once lost a person and I know the trauma it involved before the person was finally found. Anyway, you that can simply wish a family of someone you have never seen killed why should I be surprised. Heartless being! |
babeline: Shut up pls. Thank youif you are tall as you claimed, I doubt you are intellectually tall; in fact, you are intellectually dwarf. Because if you are not you would have known that no one(yourself inclusive) uses his/her mouth to talk on Nairaland, we only use our hands to air our opinions so no need for a wise person to say "shut up". lol! Anyway, I will cease replying to your responses after this. Bye and have a wonderful day ahead of you. |
tinkinjow: Why wasn't anybody protesting the bombings and the attendant deaths before this. Surely you wouldn't have expected those whose love ones were killed with out the champions of #bringbackourgirls coughing to now join them on what was obviously a self - promotional courseAre you serious? I guess you are saying that because none of those girls is in anyway related to you. I pray your child, sister or relation will not be caught in that messy situation. Perhaps you would believe it's not self promotion agenda if you know any of those girls in anyway. |
egift: Mrs Oby and others did their best. Now the question is what did you do?Thank you my brother. We Nigerians like leaving our fates in the custody of others, imagine him asking me to ask Oby when he has done virtually nothing to change the fortune of those girls. We all need to act on it, Oby has done and still doing her best. It's left to us too to take the bull by the horn and stop shying away from issues. Lastly we need to learn how to separate national issues from partisan politics. |
babeline: You don't have to believe me. I owe you not. Not like my pic will dhows you exactly how tall I am down to the feet and inchif we don't have to believe you, then need not you tell us about it. |
CyberWolf: Ask aunty Oby..In the nation of over 160million, I don't need to ask only Oby but everyone. Do I need to ask Oby about the victim of immigration service recruitment saga too? This ain't right. |
With great awe and disappointment in myself, the nation, corporate and governmental bodies, young and old individual as well as NGOs I'm writing this. Some months ago - precisely in April, some daredevil came like a thief in the night and over 200 young girls were abducted with no traces to their whereabouts till now. We all started #bringbackourgirls campaign with unquantifiable aggression with which one would have hoped by now our girls would have been safely back at home narrating their ordeal to friends and families but no they are not yet back. When the movement started both the young and old went into frenzy, the literate and illiterate counterparts, the Christians and Moslems, in fact, the religious border was totally erased and all Nigerians spoke in one voice and our language was bringbackourgirls. However, with time, we all killed this movement and outcry by maintain our silence, by using PEJ as a comic relief like in a 3hours horror movie, and also by allowing Patrick Sawyer pilgrimage to our land to make us relapsed into our amnesia and forgot our sisters and daughters to the care of BH. Yes, govt has been using our amnesia to tread and roughshod us; Subsidy Saga, Immigration recruitment, ASUU strike etc. etc. are good pointers to that fact. Are we going to fold our hands and let this cup pass as usual and allow those girls to die in the den of BH? Remember it's those girls turn today we don't know whose turn it would be tomorrow; in fact,it might be mine, it might yours. Evil thrives when good men maintain their silence. RESURRECT #bringbackourgirls. |
mikedaniel76gmailcom: You know most times I feel for those of you in diaspora, coz you'd surely have lots of questions to answer and clarifications to do due to the "terrorist" status nigerians now have.I'm actually in Nigeria but I do have a lot of virtual friends on internet who are always too curious to know what's happening here. I'm in South West, never been to North and they think the whole issue is unfolding in my backyard. lol! This issue has actually denied me the opportunity of being invited to UK by an Oyinbo friend. So painful! I guess that's the price I have to pay for being a Nigerian. I really felt a tip of what those in the foreign land are feeling that period. |
What a heart-lifting news on Monday morning! May this type of news continue and may Boko Haram go into extinction in Nigerian diction. I am highly tired of explaining to my foreign friends I ain't from the side where BH operates so I can't tell them poo about it - I know not more than what we all read in newspaper about it. Those people can ask questions. chai! |
butanep: yea pic please, the way I place my pic for you to see... I want to see yours to confirm...Guy! You got a wrong guy. |
babeline: Amen! Yes I know I'm very tall. I get told that all the time. Girls hate and guys are always surprised. Draws them to mePicture pls, or I won't believe you. lol! |
Crixina: this movie gives a whole new meaning to the word complicated.Lol! Not that complicated - I bet you skip a lot of episodes while watching. |
In Achebe voice "let the eagle perch and the vulture perch. The one that says the other should not, may Amadiora break its wing. Let short guys/girls have their choice and the tall their's too. There should be no argument about individual choice - it's called choice for a reason. |
3cycle: I'm so obsessed with height my dear, tall guys are easy going and forgive easily. They enjoy life as it comes and bear no grudges which is very rare to see in a short dude.I pity your sister! |
Crixina: wow!cool review.though I haven't seen the end of that movie but it was interesting until it got confusing.but seriously how were they all dead? Cos at a point some even found their way off the island.Yes, some escaped but the escape you are talking about is still the work of their minds; they didn't really escape. But how will that movie be interesting if something of such was not included? *winks*. How they are dead: At the last scene of the last season of that movie, John Locke was asking the remaining characters (the ones with strong minds) Sawyer, Jack, Kate, Hurley etc. who their minds didn't die in the struggle to enter a particular house (church-like building) which symbolizes a paradise or whatever you wanna call it to rest. The Director/writer of that movie didn't explicitly depict it as that but that is what is meant. |
Courtesy demands that a man pays or the initiator of the date as the case may be. I won't allow a lady to pay the bill on the first date even if that is going to create imbalance in her own view, we still have a lot date to go on which she too can pay, if she likes. Expect some Naija babes to pay on the first date and kill all the chances you might have. |
IfyAngela: The film just confused and fustrated me along d line. That movie is the most interesting movie I have ever seen. What happened is that the movie has many principal characters i.e. Jack, Hurley, Mike, Kate,Mike, Sawyer, Son, Jin, Locke,Eko, Ben, Faraday etc. and one has to keep tab on each one. The film makes use of flashblack a lot i.e. when one character is being present, his/her PAST will be link to the present . And this past sometimes may be remote or recent past. Also the PAST is divided into past A or past B i.e. in one past they still show another past i.e. flashback in flashback. Also, the concept of Time Travel is judiciously applied in that movie, making the characters to move from one time to another - past to future and this can create confusion to someone who failed to follow that movie well or who miss a flick or some episodes. Finally, If you watched that movie till the end, you will notice that they are ALL DEAD, just that their minds are still working and the function of their minds is all what the movie all about. THEY ARE ALL DEAD AS AT WHEN THE PLANE CRASHED. I suggest you read The Interpreters by Wole Soyinka, if you do I'm sure you will surely understand better. Hope this doesn't confuse you more. Lol! |
IfyAngela: MoviesHaba! Lost boring keh? The movie makes you think and one has to put his thinking cap on while watching it. |
Less pretentious, moderately beautiful, dressed lady, witty and visionary individual, with enviable character. That's my definition of cute lady. |
