Why do you bothered to ask me this question when you already know the answer? Don jazzy ko, Don Souly ni! Give me the iphone6 quickly. Unless it's hanging out with President GEJ and I know with that, my iphone 6 would be gold coated. |
I'm Oyerinola Tolu from Atiba Local Government in Oyo State. I am young university graduate. And I can plant tomato on 2 hectares of land. 08034113769 Realtolu0503@gmail.com I await your response. Thanks |
Everybody does that. And we guys are even more notorious for that - sometimes claim single when we already have a soul mate. |
Sometimes, they need to test the water with one leg before they start swimming. You just need to prove your worth at that period. |
omotenah: Yes we do but sir you need to understand that chivalry and gender equality can co-exist very much well..Your opinion is highly correct on the issue of gender equality. However, women/ladies sometimes think because they are one they should be given higher more treatment at the expenses of men/guys and that's where I sometimes have problem with them because if you look at it critically they are not really looking for gender equality but gender superiority (another topic for another day). Also, ladies need to learn how to respect themselves so men can also respect themselves. Last bullet: Don't term me a mysoginist, I'm not one only that I respect ladies who respect themselves. Hope you don't chew gum around. winks ![]() omotenah: Yes we do but sir you need to understand that chivalry and gender equality can co-exist very much well..Your opinion is highly correct on the issue of gender equality. The problem is many women don't respect themselves and you don't expect someone like me to respect someone who doesn't respect herself. A lousy, uncultured and uncouth lady (wether educated or not) who always chew gum about can never get my respect no matter how beautiful she is. You only get my respect when you respect yourself. |
Most times, they are too serious to notice the nice guy's love and affection for them and sometimes see him as boring. But when they are ready to open their eyes and allow guy into their life, the nice guy has moved on; the only choice left is wicked and unserious guys. #IMO |
You are not helping those kids but killing them softly and destroying this nation and as well retarding its growth. The best you can do is to set up a coaching center; teach them to best of your ability; pray with them and help them see that they can only be fulfilled when they sit for that exam and write what they know - help them to see that hard work and ones handwork pay off at the long run. God bless you. |
Teenagers turning into cultis. What's the hope of this country when her future believe it can only be a big shot by holding axe and destroy souls? |
Dolemite: Yeah? what if on that judgement day you find out that Allah is the true god and you have been wrong all along? But you don't even believe in that Allah. |
Awesome! You have done a great job. However, I think number 10 is helter-skelter and not heather skelter. I believe it was a mistake though. |
Sir, can I have your blog link? I would like to follow your blog and drink from your ocean of knowledge. Thanks! |
... yes, he had dreamt about lot of things; as a child, he had dreamt of being the king of his town, giving order from the stool, asking guards to let in those who had ideas that could facilitate the progress of the town and the beggars to stay outside. In fact, he had once fantasised about being the husband of the young beauty in his neighbourhood who both old and young wished and prayed to marry, some even wet their pants at the thought and sight of the lady - rumour had it she was a river goddess in human form and anybody who proposes to her is not only contracting her soul to her but sealing it with the word of their mouth. It had happened one day that Samuel and Ayo were playing Scrabble while Tade was watching when Yetunde walked pass them without saying a word "Can't you all she the way she walks? She is not from this realm, she is from sea, only here to win souls to her kingdom - as she is going like that she is giving orders to her soldiers, telling them who to visit with misfortune, who to kill and who to rub off his glory." Said Samuel. Perhaps, it was the drama and zeal Samuel put in his words, maybe it was because words came through his nose (this always happenedwhen he is excited), Ayo his friend and Tade who is 10 years younger burst into a wild uncontrollable laughter and started writhing their bodies on the floor. "See, things of the spirit cannot be discerned by mere men like you. You have to be in spirit to know what I know". It was as if fuel is added to a raging inferno, both continued their wicked laughter and wouldn't stop until 3 minutes later. After he had removed dirt on his shirts, Ayo openedhis mouth gently and said "My friend, if you are deceiving everyone here in this neighbourhood, count me out. I can never be played by this your spiritual brouhaha. You and I know that you started seeing this girl as evil after she had turned you down... everybody in the neighborhood knows that you hated her for that and had never seen anything good in her..." "Please stop that. I won't allow you mock the holy spirit that works in me. Are you telling me I am not filled with holy spirit to know a mere maid in the spirit of darkness? Because that is what she is... and if you care to know, she hypnotized me then but thanks to God, I'm free." "Give me a break from this holy spirit things of yours..." Perhaps it was intentional; perhaps it was not, a hot blow landed on Ayo's face and blood started gushing out as if it was a fountain. He couldn't believe it. He touched his face and all he could feel was a red liquid oozing out of his face. Different thought started flashing through his mind and in a twinkle of an eye Samuel was lying flat on his back - both ended up on the hospital bed that day. He wished he was still in one of those dreams but he was wrong, he wasn't in dream, reality was staring at him. A group of army is here, holding guns in their hands, well pointed at his head, chest and knees. "Young man, what or who do you seek?" A guttural voice had asked him from a corner which he couldn't say wether it's left or right. The voice jolted him out of his fear and hearing the voice he jumped like a man who had been pushed at the edge of a cliff in a dream. He thought to himself why didn't he take his novel, Achebe's Arrow of God, along with him, he would have had a better excuse; something like "I'm here to read", "I'm on my way to a friend house just to return his book". But he had left it at home when it would have being his saving grace. "Are you deaf? Can't you answer a simple and direct question? If I move closer to you, though you had come in your own accord, hearse would be your ride home" The voice said again. "Yes sir! I'm here to vote sir" his voice started to faint and his legs had became so weak beneath him, it couldn't carry him any longer and he fell heavily on the ground... ... to be continued P.S. you can as well suggest another suitable title for this piece. Thanks! |
haibe: Sorry mods for bringing this here if it isn't meant to be here but the Jokes, Riddles, etc section is just a playful section.IMO #800 + #200 worth of goods = #1000. He only lost #1000 to the dishonest customer and that's is the money he destroyed. |
yettybaby112: @ op, seriously I was in your shoe last two months, Mine wasn't even up to 3.49, it was 3.48 but to the glory of God I made a 2.1. How He Did it is unquestionable. pray to Him and have faith,Wow! God is really faithful, I have decided to hold on to my faith but I won't go begging around again. I have to leave the whole issue to God to do as it pleases HIM. Moreover, which school was that? |
@Sir Johnwell, I'm so grateful for the interpretation you gave me concerning my dream on fish/fishing. I will use all the prayer points you gave me in my prayer every time I pray. May God continue to bless you sir. As you are a point of blessing to us may you continue to receive abundant blessing from God! It's well with your soul sir. |
femidejulius: Make sure you talk to your HOD. Am sure you will graduate with a 2.1 if you do so. He has d authority to hlp u. Just forget about watever ur course adviser tld u.Thank you sir! |
THE day he witnessed soldier brutality was a war though he had never witnessed one, he had seen many in the movie. In fact, he thought he was seeing another movie when the whole issue played out. The day happened to be his 20th birthday and he wouldn't believe it even if a clairvoyant had told him heavy beating awaits him. Why would he believe? He was never a man of faith even though his father is one. At age 8, he had once asked his father for food. His father, sensing frustration and hunger that are well written over his son face, coupled with the fact that their is no food at home neither kobo in his pocket, had asked his son to pray to God and see what happened in the next hour. He did it even though throughout the time he was looking at the wall-clock awkwardly hung on the wall as if it's the food he is patiently waiting for. 1... 2 ... "Father it is more than two hours now and nothing had happened" Said Tade " In fact, I feel more pain in my paunch" "That is because you haven't prayed..." With anger he snorted "Yes, I had prayed" highly frustrated, he continued" moreover, what has prayer got to do with food, even Jesus Christ when his disciples and the thousands were hungry in the Bible didn't ask them to pray but to sit, bring the fish and loaves of bread which he prayed on, multiply and fed them with it. You haven't done any and..." A thunderous slap landed on his face and for some minutes he couldn't see anything. Since then he had hated religion and any man who claim to know what's beyond human comprehension. Today something will happen and even if he had been told he would have dismiss it with a smug on his face and see it as a joke. The sun rose at 7am as it used to and there have not been any report of earthquake, flood or bomb blast so why should he believe the day would be different. By 8am, he was still sleeping on the settee which currently serve as his bed since he must leave his tiny bed for his uncle who arrived late from Lagos in the previous night. The sunshine perched on his face and he groaned as he is accustomed to when a new day breaks. Today is his birthday and also a day he would join the league of eligible voters in his constituency to exercise his franchise and see wether his vote would count or not. He woke at 8:15, rushed to the outhouse bathroom which served the whole neighbourhood, brushed his mouth and quickly had a shower. He put on his shirt, then rushed out to the polling unit thinking he is late and might not be able to be among the first ten to cast their votes as he had promised himself but he was disappointed. Getting to the polling unit, he couldn't see either electoral officers or any electorate but a small army that seems to have being waiting for him... ...to be continued |
oketoyinboshola: I Agree with you, if u try to lobby for good grades, this can bring bad omen to you, is better to leave it like that if you are sure of your handiwork during your stay in university. 2.1 or 2.2 don't determine your future. please don't lobby for grades. This why I love Nairaland - full of matured minds ready to give soul-lifting advice. I'm grateful for the advice. I have never lobbied for grade and will not start now. Though it pains me to the marrow, I will take it as it is. |
Simplefaithy: . dis ur case to me is not a problem and can never be ( to me thou). I see it as trying to get wat u don't deserve. IMO. u re welcomeI know I deserve it because I have been in the range of 3:81 - 3:51 from my part one day and only slipped at the last semester. Moreover, what do you call favour/grace (because that's exactly what I'm looking for in IMO though)? I'm going to take it as it is anyway. Thanks for your time. |
proffemi: Then frankly, there doesn't appear to be much you can do.Wow! This is great, case closed. Thank you sir! With this advice I'm not going begging around again. At least, I would still have my pride (3:49) second class lower which I worked tirelessly for, not given. |
proffemi: Hope you are sure about the last part. Some results were approved in Senate yesterday. No, I only scored 66Bs in two courses at final semester/year. 67Bs are scored in 200level and 300. |
engrjidex: You can round it up yourself naThanks. It is still an advice |
Simplefaithy: why are u confused? why cant u jus resign to faith and allow baba God to do His thing. if u run from ya hod to vc wat He has decree will surely come to pass. ur fortune and prosperity is not tied to 2.1 or 2.2.Thanks, I quite understand your stand. It's just that I have to at least try to do something on it, since there is nothing God cannot do. Perhaps by seeking advice and guidance solution can come... since there is no harm in that. Thank you very much! |

bigtt76: Stop goung to your hostel. Sleep in class everyday until graduation. Make sure you also get distinction in your final project.I have seen all my results i.e. I had completed all my workloads |
42n8dzydoo: Approach ur part advice, u myt be lucky...if 4.49 could be rounded-off, urs too can...# from a fellow Great-IfeThank you! Sir, I have gone to see my part adviser and she said " I cannot help you, everything is automated". Sir! was yours done by part adviser? Your advice and guidance are highly needed and welcomed sir. |
Raiders: I don't think it will be rounded up to 2.1. I almost had the same problem. my last result before my I saw my project was 3.499 and I needed an A in project to make 3.5. Luckily, when the result came out I got an A and my final CGPA was 3.501. My HOD told me then that they don't round up GPA and I was lucky. You should go talk with your HOD or supervisor. I wish you good luck. Thanks! I also got an A in project and 66Bs in some departmental/faculty courses and that is what's giving me headache. I just need one of these courses to be upgraded to 70A (2unit) and all would be well but they are not ready to help at the department, claiming they can't tamper the result i.e. everything is automated. I'm just frustrated. |
I am a graduating student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile - Ife. I recently saw the last of my result from 100-400 level and my CGPA currently stands at 3:49 i.e. second class lower while second class upper starts from 3:50. Please, is there anything I can do in order to earn that 2:1 because I'm just frustrated now? P.S. I have seen all results but the results are yet to leave the shore of my department for Senate approval. |
Dolemite: No thanks, I don't need your imaginary god.but you need/love an imaginary devil, right? |
Funny question... |
What is the meaning of my dream? I had a dream that I was fishing in a river and I whenever I cast my hook inside the river, I caught fish... I did this all through the dream and I caught fish throughout. |
