Afrok: Ebola was in Rumuokoro, very close to Uniport and we (uniport students) survived it. If this case is confirmed, I think with proper measures, OAU students, Ile-Ife (for the sake of my family) and Osun State will survive it.

@op, your friend should sit her fiance down and try to tell her that story as if it concerns somebody from afar (perhaps her online friend who seeks her advice) and seek her fiance true advice for that person. By that, she would be able to gauge her fiance reaction and likely response before breaking the ice.

I think we still have a long way to go in Nigeria. It's not enough to train hefty men in police college and place guns in their hands, we must constantly do psychological evaluation and appraisal on them in order to know how balance some police are at a point in time. Moreover, it's in the gene of human being to be intoxicated by power... if you place gun in my hand now I wouldn't be the same again anymore I will likely see myself as larger than life and it will take your own rational behaviour to check me (the one with gun).
