Tax is a compulsory levy. No patriotic citizen will speak against tax paying.. Nigeria is now becoming a country
Tax across the world from its originator are " PurPoseful" and duely accounted for ... No patriotic citizen will support a Tax regime we know is heavily marred with corrruption .. and a govt tew big for accountability

Before we got here, VAT increase, stamp duty, levies hiked and above all the Subsidy removal what have being the economic gain

The only mega project going on in Nig. by FG is just the coastal road financed by loan.

Americans british citizen Pay Tax cos they know the funds are judicious expended on welfare services and betterment of the country

For a tore pocket, putting big money wont change anything, have they dealt with corruption before widenly the Tax net ... so dont even bring " Patrotism" to gaslight Nigerians

The man also comes across as politically naive.

You have a Governor in the same party as you in neighbouring Osun, yet you did not support his re-election huh

It is amazing how power makes people lose sight of reality.

This Governor doesn't command any support outside Oyo State.

Nobody knows him in Lagos, Ondo, Ekiti, and Ogun. If you stop people on the streets of Lagos, or Akure, most of them won't be able to tell you who the Governor of Oyo State is. Even I don't always remember his name.

Yet he thinks it's his turn to contest.

Mr Tinubu was a factor in all 6 Southwestern states for nearly 2 decades before contesting for President.
Its a shame People like you exist, All the things lere said about Seyi makinde how does it address the issue

He said Seyi moved from party to party, is that a crime, if i dont have my way here if i decide to move to another party .. what code or rules did i break

Was that the reason why PDP went into a convention after restraining orders from two high courts. If PDP had good legal advicers, they ought to have gone back to the high courts first and obtained a stay of execution first, before going ahead with their illegal convention, that could have given their convention a legal backing, then there after continue their with the legal battle till supreme, which may eventually back their convention. Up
Pre restrain Order there was a standing rule of the highest competent court of jurisdiction that as stated " no court shall entertain party crisis"
The question now is those court that gave " restriction order" which one can over ride supreme verdict

PDP convention in ibadan went ahead cos they relied on supreme verdict

What is really going on is this INEC is not acting based on political preference for one party or another, but on a risk-averse legal strategy. They are prioritizing their own legal safety above political expediency for any party.

The agency fears that by uploading one faction's list, they could be held in contempt of a court order they are aware of. The public sees INEC taking sides in SDP/NNPP but "being indecisive" in PDP. From INEC's perspective, the difference is not the party, but the specific legal landscape surrounding each crisis at the moment a decision is required.

Note: I am support of accountability and not politically motivated
Bro lets not call a worm a viper, even if the court they are so waiting for gives a verdict tomorrow, will it overwrite the Supreme court standing rule everyone is pretending to forget

No, nobody likes paying taxes, that is why the rich carry their money to tax havens, if u don’t pay your taxes in the countries u cited, the UK, & USA u will go to prison.

That is why u people are crying about any amendments about this law passed, u don’t want to pay your taxes, but expect not to go to prison for it.

The government has said add it to the law, if u don’t pay your tax, u go to prison like it is in the countries that u cited i.e. The USA, & The U.K., una start to shout fraud, we no gree.
Don't patronize me with that nobody likes paying Tax, do you love Debit alert ?? the dislike is beyond Tax, we no like Debit buh we have to do it

All I read was a lot of mumbo-jumbo with no head or tail. The National Assembly adopted a special approach in passing this tax bill due to its sensitive nature. 40 members of the House of reps and 40 senators with representation from each state were selected to sit and harmonise the law. What was harmonised by these legislators was deliberated upon, passed and forwarded to the president and the house of reps member who raised this observation on forgery was a member of that committee. There's no different house of reps version or a senate version.
