There are several fake mc connectors and dc fuse/breakers. That being said, there are better guaranteed ways of twisting wires after which one now make use of connectors with screws for maximum firmness. Then Wrap tightly with insulation tape. One person's error shouldn't be generalized though. However, If you have access to all shapes of original connectors, no qualms.

Good morning guys,please I would like to seek advice from you guys.i am not very enlighten about setting up a solar system hence my coming here for enlightenment.I want to set up a solar system on my betshop and I have a very limited budget.

The intended electronics to be powered in my betshop are,9 monitors(no c.p.u),1 laptop,2 ceiling fans(one of them is an acdc inverter fan),1 standing fan,7 led light bulbs,3 32 inches tv,3 Playstation video game and a thermal printer.

Please,how many kva system does the above equipment need.

What are the various components I need to make it work and their prices.

links of credible online vendors(not the ones that would run away with my money or sell me a bad product) that I can get each of the component at affordable prices.

I'm asking for your help cos I have a very lean budget of 1-1.2million.I tried approaching some solar installers in my vicinity but they seem to inflate the prices of most what is needed.I want to get everything needed myself then call a solar specialist to come fix them up.That's the only way I can afford this.

If a locally produce lithium battery can come into the mix for my budget range,I would appreciate it,If not I'm still ok with it.

Also my shop opens at 8am and closes 10pm business

Please your suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Noticed sth about this thread.
Most guys come here to lay complains and whenever different solutions were given, they no longer come here to update the house if the solution(s) worked out or not. Why?

I experienced the same thing in the Tokunbo panels i bought after two years and one got burnt out. After that i had to change the entire panels to tier 1 panels.

what might caused this are;

1. when you do not use MC4 connectors but rather cut the wires and do the connection thereby creating more resistance for the flow of current.

2. directly placing the panels on the roof without allowing for air flow underneath the panels.

3. using wrong gauges of dc wiring.

I will advice you to replace that panel with a new one

Since you are using lithium battery, see if the bms is connected and change the setting to Lib. I think ~27v is ok for lithium battery

Are you connected to the grid? if yes, try and top it with grid to see if it will get to that 28.

Check you Bulk charge and absorb settings. Also how many panels and wattage of the panels are you using.

I don't think it will get to that 29. I think this 27 is OK. Mine stops at 27.6.

How is this welion inverter? Is it performing well? I want to get one

@redgem if you’re in London go to woolwich or Peckham. You’ll find cargo companies there. You can walk into their offices or warehouse

Count the numbers of palm trees, contact people who do the uprooting , then calculate the cost before proceeding.
Where I am currently building, We uprooted about 12 palm trees for 10k each.

Another thing to remember is cost of moving the fallen palms from the site because the uprooting guys will not move it for you.

Even when they have uprooted the trees, they would need to roll the trees away from the proposed building area, they will still need to cut them into movable sizes. That cost money too.

Some people do use bulldozer. It will do all the work but might cost much more.

In simple words, he meant to tell you to have extra money in bank ready to be spent whenever that your new Hybrid inverter goes bad, as e no rugged reach the previous one you were using which is transformer based.
