I think it’s for optics , politics and other relevance . I know a distributor that has paid for over a month at the old price of 4650 from bua that is yet to get his supply . Time will tell
He is at luck then cos I read they will sell at new price to those who have already placed an order.

Last mile should be expecting between 4,000 and 4.200 cost per bag which is still fair enough.

I’m happy this will compel other cement manufacturers to bring down their price.

This is just my wild thought.
4000 is still fair...

If builders can just come together and form a committee to purchase direct...

Are you afraid ni cheesy cheesy?
Yes oh... I want to buy and store up, still have fence and flooring to be done and they consume lots of cement. Buying at 5600 is a killer

Do you guys think distributors will sell Bua cement at 3500?

Good evening everyone, please I have few questions.....
Please, are hollow blocks good for fencing? Cos I've seen some fence made with hollow blocks cut into 2

When it comes to cost, Is it better to buy blocks or better to mould blocks for fence?

I so much love black tiles as a designer n I don't run from it. Lots of clients will not go with black for their personal reasons n that ranges from client to client.

Though black tiles requires lots of maintainance especially if it's of low quality as it easily reveals scratches n dirt's(dusts n d likes) on it which makes it less attractive over time,
it also requires constant cleaning(mopping/polishing) to bring the spark in it out continuously which will wear of its glory if it's a low quality type n also time to maintain it
Some will say it makes it difficult to sight/spot small reptile on it compare to other colors.

Bright colors suit spaces much more than black color n there is restriction to spaces you can actually use black color for, it's a mood on its own.
Black color is selective of colors that easily combines with it. I love to use black in private spaces.

My personal submission though
1) Difficult to maintain
2) Highly selective of colors...

Your points above are very valid.... For point 1, same way you care for and maintain your tiles won't be different from how one maintains black tiles.... Avoid things that will scratch your tiles, use mild polishes on your tiles and avoid harsh chemicals.

Most clients go with trends and most designers prefer white cos they can easily play with colours on white and are restricted on black, now making white be the trend but I think that's why interior designers should become creative...

Cost depends on,
1. Current nature of the water

Longest time Chief.
What you need is water treatment plant
It comes in fiber type and stainless type.
Nature of your water will depends on the type of chemicals to be used, although there are some popular chemicals we usually used for regular non clean water to make it consumables I.e chlorine, activated carbon, etc

See attached pics of the setup plant for a member here
Good morning Sir... Please, what's the possible cost estimate for setting this up?

That shit don’t come cheap at all. The current price of cement now sef. Most big men now go for full tiles. One thing I hate it for is that u have to maintain it every year… that is if you apply colors and other yori yori. I did the regular German floor and they powered the surface . I m not wealthy yet.
Hahahahhahahhahhahaha.....we are all managing... To me, he should get another quotation from different people.

I'm thinking this is too much.
Ask someone else and compare the two

I always have this thought whenever I see such too. But I feel they are not the regular tiles, soapstone for example. And if regular tiles are used it's probably areas with less traffic.
It's best to just do Stamped Floor or Interlocks.
Stamped floors are beautiful but when it comes to durability, I'd go with interlocking

I have experienced it in a couple of hotels in Lagos. And my engineer also showed me a sample of work he had done recently. It looks beautiful in pictures but can be quite slippery especially when it is wet. I understand there are special ones that are not as slippery though but the ones i experienced were very slippery. They are also high maintenance as need to be cleaned daily. Dirt shows up quite significantly on tiles. I was also wary of how hot tiles would get from the sun and if this was safe. Anyway, I decided against it without further enquiries. I have gone for stamped concrete instead. It would be interesting to read the opinions of others on this platform.
Haven't seen it physically...just on a video and I liked it. Would love to know it's pros and cons
... Heard stamped concretes do not lsst, some damage within months

if he's doing it away from site, you need to find common ground with him but you will have to part with something. These things were supposed to be discussed from get go.
I already told him earlier that he is the one installing....

honestly there's no way I can answer this question because I don't know what you agreed upon. If he did a separate foundation casting for the tank stand,he will by default be the one that will install as he doesn't have a choice. But if it happens that he did it on ground, both of you will have to find a common ground if you didn't tell him prior that he will have to install
He isn't casting from the ground, he is doing it from his workshop... Before, he said he isn't the one installing but will do it for me and I clearly told him that it's not how it's done and people I've seen are the ones constructing and also installing... Now he is saying that I will get an installer.

I can not find the picture. Here's the best solution towards this thing, let him use materials he trust that will do the job cause if you tell him what you think is the best and anything happens,he will blame you for insisting on the choice of materials.

Just provide him with the funds and allow him to do the job to the best of his ability
Initially, he said since I want steel, he will use 2mm steel that was the reason why I asked if the 2mm steel will be good...

That being said, tell him what you can afford to pay and bargain well with him while making sure he understands what you want him to deliver for you
Good morning Sir....please about the steel, I've spoken to him and he said he wants to use 2mm steel but there is one higher and it is only for duplex it's been used(it comes in pieces and they just weld them together) ... Please, is this okay? Can the 2mm steel carry over 4000L? Or is there another option?

Does this make sense to anyone "he said the stand can't carry 2 of 2100L except 2 of 1500L at the top and that it can only carry 2100L in the middle.."
So the stand can't carry total of 4200L but can carry 5100L or 3600L. Can someone explain the reason behind this? Thanks
That was what he said...it even got me confused... I went ahead to ask if it can carry 2100L and 1500L at the top but he said no, that it will carry belle...

Ahhhhh....so, I should request for decommissioned pipelines or insist on the steel? Please, how can I tell the differencehuh Like, how do I know it's real steel? And how much should I tell him? I told him to hold on with the work
