Betting has actually made me useless in the society. I spent all my income and time on betting but gained nothing. I have to always create lies to borrow money from friends to feed myself until the month ends. So pity on me at this moment.
My prayer is that God should have mercy on me and create a new path for me. It is also my prayer that all gamblers will
desist from it.

Hello sir, I will advice you do both noiler and broiler. Both are profitable, I'm a farmer and I'm doing both, local turkey is good too.
But you need to consider feeding first, buyinng doc is not a big deal, but feeding them can make a farmer run loss.
For now, I'm doing noiler alone because they are easy to raise, I don't need drugs or vaccine to raise them, I use some herbs which doesn't cost me money, the only money I spend is on feeding, even heat, they don't need much heat like broiler and the demand is more than broiler, presently price of day old noiler is higher than that of broiler. People believe noiler are easy to raise, they don't die easily like broilers and they are less to contact disease like broilers.
Then local turkey is something I wish to go into this year, that thing can make you a millionaire if there is plan and there is money to buy feed

Welcome aboard!

I had a turkey that hatches 9 out of 12. All 9 survives to maturity.

Pic 1: Day 1
Pic 2: 3 months 3 weeks
Pic 3: 8 months plus with their babies.

I kept three, 1 tom & two hens. Their chicks have all shades of colors, some like grandma from Pic 1.

Waooo, I love this thread and I would love to join the train.
My turkey lay 14 eggs, first week on her brooding the eggs, I removed 4 eggs that are not fertile and I left 10 fertile eggs for her.
She hatched 9, one couldn't hatched because she doesn't have the upper beak to open the egg shell, I saw that when I examined what could lead to her death.
They are one week old on Wednesday.
They were hatched on Wednesday 15th December 2021, so I bought one carton of noiler chicks, I separated them from the mother on the third day when the noiler arrived. Chai, both mother and chicks noise filled the whole compind throughout the whole day.
But they are all good now, the mother should start laying by February. I plan to leave all the 9 poult and sell the boilers at 4-5 weeks old.
I want to keep the turkey for breeding.
If one can manage to raise them, and you have like 10 females that are laying and hatching, you are ok, 6 weeks turkey will be sold between #2500-#3000, do the calculation and see how much million you will make on 20 female turkey in a year. They will lay at least thrice a year

It took the intervention of the Lagos State Social Welfare and the police to reunite the woman and her child.
However, a new update by human rights activist, Harrison Gwamishu reveals that the mother has tragically lost her child.

The Federal Capital Territory Police Command on Tuesday said it was investigating the death of a man identified as Adegbite, who allegedly committed suicide after losing N150,000 to sport betting.

The incident happened in Pegi in the Kuje area council of Abuja in November.

Adegbite was said to have placed a bet with the money which his boss gave him to pay his colleagues, hoping to replace it after winning.

One of his colleagues at work, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said Adegbite committed suicide after he lost the money.

He said, “We were surprised when it happened. He was given the money to pay some people at his place of work. The money was in the region of N150,000. He took the money to a sport betting shop and staked it. He selected some matches but he did not win. He had hoped he would win and pay back the money.

“The following morning, he was not seen by his neighbours. They noticed that he was inside; they broke the door open and found his body dangling on the ceiling fan. They alerted the police, who removed his body.”
The spokesperson for the FCT Police Command, DSP Josephine Adeh, confirmed the incident.
She, however, said investigation was ongoing into the incident.
