A sensible government ought to give a fine that can be easily paid and which non-payment can be enforced. The question you should ask is: 'Come Dec. 31st, what will govt do if mtn fail to pay?' Shut down mtn? It is easier said than done but we will wait and see.
Federal govt has carried lagos attitude of outrageous fine to the centre, maybe because a former LiRS boss is now at the centre. In Lagos lastma charges outrageous fines too. Many motorists who can't pay abandon their vehicles in the lastma yard. It was some of those vehicles ambode released freely when he came to power. Unfortunately while such fines can be got away with with individuals, it is more difficult when we talk about a corporate entity that employs thousands in a country with high level of employment.

I have known and dealt with the company for quite a while. Though the company might be the owner of the building but is not the soul occupant of the building, its sublet part of the building to other companies. The company does not employ through public domain non invite general public for interview. The company does not even need employment service of any engineer. It may be that is one of it tenants that is fraudulently using the company's goodwill for personal gain and this I am sure is without the company's knowledge. The company does not even occupy any space on the 1st floor.
Therefore ignore any interview at the said address especially when you do not personally know anybody from the company. It is surely a scam!!!

Lagos is peculiar to most other states of the Federation.

The earliest settlers of Lagos Island of which d state got its name were the freed slaves from Brazil.

Lagos became the seat of Power even before the amalgamation. The freed slaves and d British colonial masters started d dévelopement we see in Lagos today. Post indepence Nigeria had Lagos as its capital. Ibadan was d capital of the Awolowo controlled Western Region while Lagos was the Federal Capital. Lagos was not under the Western Region jst like Abuja is nt under Niger, Kaduna or any state in the North.

The Federal capital was moved to Abuja in 1991 leaving development of Lagos to its citizens and foreign investors.

Successive govts in Lagos inherited the already built infrastructures put in place by the Federal govt.

No doubt Yorubas own Lagos but development of Lagos was mainly not by the Yorubas.

Ibadan is the product of Yoruba civilization and development.
