What i mean is that man should exibit the image of god not withstanding the religious practices be it african traditional religion, which to me is more real and original to africans. |
The issue is not sharing the money individually but distributing the revenue from oil wisely by investing on infrastructures and basic things a normal country need to function properly. The problem is that the people we call our leaders don't have the mental ability to lead herds of cattle,we are not talking of the brain washed educated people that are there,we are talking of education that comes from within, common sense. It takes common sense to know that the streets have to be kept clean, that includes everybody, the roads have to be maintained, electricity and water has to be properly managed etc.what we need in that country is a total reorientation of what life is all about,a situation where we begin to take pride in been resourceful ,creative and productive, not just looting and consuming. It seems like we don't have a generation before us,because there is no constructive precedence. As you make your bed so you lie on it,we live for the future, for the nest generation,to be proud of been a people,we should be thinking of exploring the galaxy, not how to clean gutters.Human brain is like a muscle, the more you push it,the more it opens up. Time has come for us to do away with those visionless leaders,we are the people,we are the goverment and we are the future. |
I don't think religion should be a problematic problem in Nigeria.Religion is a way of life,it's inborn,it is not some thing you acquire,it is every second activity, how you communicate with your inner being, how you relate with every thing in life including solving problems.Man is the image of God,so you are never far away from him,'we can only exhibit God's attributes if we understand the way he works. You should be able to see, feel and explain it yourself, it causes problem because people don't understand what it's all about, just like so many other things in Africa. |
Malaria in nigeria can curbed by getting rid of mosquitos and you get rid of mosquitos by getting rid of the filth and stagnant water all over the place. There needs to be a drive,a policy towards this. It's just common sense for people not to live in filth. Thousands of children die every day in africa of malaria related diseases,so it just take a bit of common sense to tackle it-CLEANLINESS. Where is our mindset? What are we thinking about? |
I am a nigerian based in the uk and i am seriously looking forward to going back to nigeria but each time i tell my people they keep saying i'm making a very big mistake but if there is one thing i have learnt living abroad,it's about learning to rule my destiny and that applies to every nigerian,as you make your bed so you lie on it, for real. Our problem in nigeria, infact in africa as a whole is that we fail to understand the fundamentals.Primarily due to bad leadership and misconceptions of what life is all about.Accodinig to legendary Fela Kuti nigeria is a big blind country(BBC). Somebody in the forum was talking about setting up a night club and i think any night club to be set up in nigeria right now should be model after Fela kind of entertainment,a place that will liberate the peoples mind from stack poverty and deprivation due to ignorance.People should be made to understand that life belongs to them, that it's their right to live and live well through basic knowledge and understanding. You don't have to be an intellectual to know how to live, think about the birds of the air,the sharks in the sea, even rats all around us,they are all survivors,so why not man who is suppose to be the dominant animal. Brothers and sisters rise up and live, let's live for precedence, something that the nest generation will look forward to. |
