FELA KUTI,should be immortalized in nigeria and africa as a whole, his ideas and visions studied and put into practice,i for one, will have a FELA centre when ever i come back to nigeria. All what he was saying is what is actually going on in africa(BBC) |
What do we need a german for?with all those retired nigeria talented footballers, such a shame,we don't believe in ourselves. |
People are so vulnerable in that country anything goes, they don't just know their left from their right, according to legendary FELA[suffer don dabaru him sense]People need to be educated of their human rights. |
malariia, mosquisto borne disease is some thing we can easily get rid of and save all those childrean from dying, all we need to do is tidy up. |
What you need in nigeria is just knowledge, some times people have money they don't know,it's like a rich fool,as good as nothing. The greatest wealth is understanding.Set a goal then go for it. |
Lewis Hamilton,a black race driver creating waves in formular 1 world,it use to be no go area for blacks but now he is on top.It goes to show that the only thing you fail at is the thing you havn't tried.Race is not a criteria for intelligence but common sense and orientation. |
Christ said, for you to enter the kingdom of god,you have to be like a child, not that i am a christian, but i believe in the phenomenal truth and simplicity of christ ideology. In the west, people are kind programme to keep wanting,so there is not an end to what they want as long manufacturers keep producing, psychoanalytic world, while in the so-called third world people are programme to believe that not having the basics is a way of life due to bad precedence set by the visionless ruling class. There have to be a balance in both world, balance of learning to make do with rational minimum and at the same time be in control, after all,we all live to die,all we got is how feel while in the race. |
@ adarage,it is true the politicians are horrible role models but education to a great extent is a key to independence and with little money which they have to make the trip and ideas and examples from people like us who have been and see that east or west home is the best one can make a head way in nigeria,it is a country that needs pioneers, because what we have now have no roots, with vigour and determination it will go a long way, good will definitely over come evil, those politicians do what they do because they are ignorant, but their time is up,this is the age of information,am i not talking to you now?Knowledge is power and some times knowledge does not neccessarily mean going to school but experience and mistakes from self and others.May be if had known what i know now i wouldn't have bothered travelling but then i learnt alot leaving the country with out much risk and my knowledge i can pass on to you so that you don't have to make the same mistake, you can be in a position in that country where you can reach the sky honestly.Rome was not built in a day. |
What is actually the maintainance nature of nigeria bridges?judging from the way every other thing is handled,i think those things are time bomb waiting to happen, places like oshodi, obalende and cms, with the increasing pressure of trafic and lack of maintainance and upgrading,it could cave in one day, heaven forbids, but it's reality. |
Spanish people are just half breed european, judging from the way they behave in football games they tend to love, name calling of black players, one can clearly see they are not upto date with the new world order,i just don't advice any black person going to countries outside uk,america and canada, even this ones are not problem free, but they are manageable. It's time we begin to appreciate what we have and work things out in our countries,i wish the politicians can see the need and joy of doing the right thing. Just this morning on BBC NEWS the sad sight of so many africans cramped in a dinghy rescued by malta coast guards is some thing to weep for. Why? |
Over 4.000 people commit suicide yearly in uk ,but in nigeria it is a taboo to commit suicide,i think it is still got to do with evolutionary theory of life, some people seems to have reach their limit while some are just starting. It is better to laugh the last laugh. |
Religious doctrines and rules are like goverment constitution, wise people thought of it as moral standard and guidelines of their time,it is subject to amendment based on the time and the need of the people. It is mainly used to control and manipulatate the adherents of religion so that they keep believing and keep looking forward to the salvation that is their birth right. As far as i am concern,we don't have any religious belief in africa today that is original to us,just like every other thing, that is why we are still yet to grasp the basic fundamental mechanism of life,we live in a fairy world where we expect the angels to come from heaven to teach us how to think and do things.Another great sin in life is IGNORACE of any kind. Those who have eyes let them see, christ said it,yet people have their eyes open but can't see.Christ was a rebel, rebel against his time,a rebel against religious beliefs and most of all a rebel against ignorance. |
All this sin concept is just is one of the greatest trick used by white man to blindfold a typical blackman. There is no sin,the only sin you have is your conscience,do things right you feel good,do it wrong, you feel bad, just like what we are suffering in africa today,we are not getting the point, you get what you give.Be god's friend and don't be afraid of him. |
Man is a spirit, why should any rational person put him or herself in a constant situation of guilt?when you are the decision maker, why not just feel and declare yourself sinless and still believe you will go to heaven. You are what you believe in and you have every right to control it, if not it is baseless.Lets live like gods and operate in the higher realm,it is our endowment as human. |
It is not a tribal thing,it is about a group of suppose elites stealing and mismanaging the country's revenues, their elitism is foolishness because they are not even as resourceful as common termites, but then again it will be our own decision as a people to continue the way we are going or put a stop it.what is happening in niger delta is just the begining, even though their cause is still been influence by lack of proper insight due to same poor orientation of just living for today and forgetting tomorrow. |
It is not just obasanjo as an individual, but about the concept the whole system is built on,his likes are still at the helm of affairs. It is just a vicious circle of road to nowhere. |
@Telly b,our own greed is so bad that we have not even started building as a society before we start destroying,it is like destroying oneself practically, developed world build their own society at the expence of ours because we are too blind to see and defend what we have.Go back to history,no nation can stand firmly unless they choose to.Can't you see we have not even started the industrial age,not even agricultural age in the 21st century,it is not about those assembled factories and machines and even foreing manned,no it is about what we can initiate and build independently, just like those things we call ABA or IBO made, that is the starting point. |
@Telly b,yeah the so-called developed world still have their problems, but it is not fundamental like ours, theirs is more of illusion and the insatiable human nature as we normally attribute, greed. |
A man can never change unless he understands what a change is all about. The change we need in africa is fundamental,we got ask the question of who we are and what we actully believe in as human, weather it is for us to give in to nature or harmoniously control nature for the good of all. |
I would suggest all the old school politicians be shot or locked up for eternity. We need a fresh start, a new concept base on near absolute descipline and selflessness. We got to give to get. |
In the time of the pharoahs, they were gods to the ordinary person, the time of the romans the emperors were gods on earth but jesus broke it all,he made ordinary people begin to see their godlike nature by believing and trusting that they are.Jesus is an embodiment of change,of freedom and of independence, there is nothing sacred about it but just simple truth and common sense, thinking beyond existing imaginations not to be bounded by rules and regulations of another. |
Once a president is always a president,it is suppose to be an entity of knowledge, commitment and selflessness,.an embodiment of hope but in our own case,it is an embodiment of hopelessness.Meanwhile, africa problems to a great extent is delibrate,it is cause by mismanagement and misconception,it is not a proplem that will be solved by the so-called developed world who in the true sense don't care about us,to some extent they are clearly part of the problems too but i don't blame them,it is the survival of fittest,we as a people have to put our acts together and know that it is either we ride or extint. |
@Telly b,dont forget this man is a leader not just an individual like you and i.He represents millions of people and his actions and judgements affects millions of people,so he should be accountable and upto date.what i mean by human authenticity is that for ahuman to exist,he or she should have the basic needs of life, like food, clean water, decent shelter, clean enviroment and some sense of security, social and economic and then you go to achiving dreams, except in the time war or natural disaster but this things are not there for majority of people in africa, don't get me wrong,i have this things in england but that is not the issue,i would love to have it in my country as well as every other born african. If you are following the socalled g8 meeting, the only thing they talk about africa is aids and poverty, meanwhile we have it all but for incompetent and totally ignorant leaders. It is not too late or early to start and it dosn't come easy but with discipline and determination we shall win. |
Mugabe is about the only leader right now in africa with a vision, what he is attemting is fundamental and new,it is gonna take some time and sacrifices for it to take shape, the people got to learn to walk first before they run.Staying in a comfort zone is only good for a short run not for a long run.The land belongs to the people, they got to learn to use it,mistakes are gonna be made but that is the only way they can learn,i wish they can be smarter. |
First of all, obasanjo should study common sense, then community development, followed by town planning and health management. That is all he needs, some times sitting in a canteen with work mates in england with BBC NEWS on, one will just be praying for them not to show a caption of africa with its usual problem of hunger, diseases, war and aids. It is so embarrassing and it makes you want to question your authenticity as human and this problems are caused by people like obasanjo . |
Right Seun, they are very good at exploiting the vulnerable. |
I am just expressing my opinion, weather you like it or not,to a great extent,it is quite true judging from his legacy as a president of nigeria. This a dynamic world, there is no room for mistakes when you hold the destiny of millions of people in your hands. |
@goodguy,he might make sense to you because you are in the same realm. |
He is an idiot for all he stands for. |
His is an idiot because what he is studying has little or no relevance to the real world. |
Obasanjo back to school to study of thing christian theology, what an idiot,i bet he wants to become a pastor to start duping the people in a diffrent way again. |
Can somebody tell me what happened to ORIENTAL BROTHERS INTERNATIONAL?As a child i use to love their music and i think i will love it better now as an adult but i can't find it,i do get osadebe on utube, but not oliver de co and orientals. |
