NDLEA Nabs Textile Trader With $1.4m Meth At Abuja Airport National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) officers at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (NAIA), Abuja, have arrested a textile dealer with 4.4kg of methamphetamine, which he wanted to smuggle to Cambodia, Southeast Asia. The suspect, Mr. Ifeka Charles Obi, 47, according to a statement signed by Mr. Mitchell Ofoyeju, NDLEA spokesman, concealed the drug, estimated to have a street value of $1.4 million, in food items. The statement added that the seizure was the first made this year by the agency at the NAIA. BY SAHARAREPORTERS, NEW YORKJAN 20, 2017 National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) officers at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (NAIA), Abuja, have arrested a textile dealer with 4.4kg of methamphetamine, which he wanted to smuggle to Cambodia, Southeast Asia. Mr. Ofoyeju explained that primary investigations by the NDLEA revealed that drug cartels are exploring new markets. He added that the drug costs $325, 000 per kilogram at its intended destination. Mr. Ofoyeju, however, assured that the agency had developed an adequate counter-strategy to the tricks of the cartels. The suspect, the NDLEA spokesman disclosed, hails from Oba in Idemili South Local Government of Anambra State and was allegedly handed the drug in Lagos, but elected to travel through Abuja because the airport is perceived to have less stringent scrutiny. He added that the suspect’s travel expenses were taken care of by his sponsors, who promised to pay him N1 million upon successful delivery of the drug. NDLEA Commander at the airport, Mr. Hamisu Lawan, said that the drug was detected during the outward screening of passengers on an Ethiopian Airlines flight. “The 40 parcels of suspected whitish substance found on the suspect, Ifeka Charles Obi, 47 years old tested positive for methamphetamine with a total weight of 4.4kgs. “The drug was hidden in foodstuff, but we were able to detect it and the suspect also apprehended," Mr. Lawan said. The suspect was said to have confessed to the crime, saying he was pushed into the illicit trade because his business collapsed. The suspect added that it was the first time he was engaging in such dastardly act. “This is my first time of smuggling drugs, and I agreed to do it so as to get money for my textile business. They promised to pay me N1 million with all-expenses paid trip to Cambodia. The drug was carefully hidden in foodstuffs. Still it was detected. I accept everything as my fate,” he said. Chief Executive of the NDLEA, Colonel Muhammad Mustapha Abdallah (retd.), expressed confidence in the agency's capacity to curtail drug peddlers and called on stakeholders to remain steadfast in their approach. He assured that more drug cartels would be dismantled in the course of the year.

NEVER AGAIN will this happen |
jashar:thats what i dont know how to do |
[b]HI people, i dont want to bother you with long story that touches, so im gonna go straight to the point i had a very terrible break up with my ex, which left me shattered and battered for several month(though still nursing the wound here). i couldnt concentrate on my future because i invested my life, time, resources, love and emotions into the relationship of 3 years. everything went bad went when she left for national service(NYSC), however, i summon courage and started what i wasnt used to, like picking girls and dump them at will, watching pornography, heartlessly dealing with the women folk, taking call girls, in short runs girls are my fav for now. my christian like shrinks in a geometric proportion(shedding tears as i type) few months i met a a girl in my elder brother's neighbourhood named Mary. mary is such a wonderful and descent girl any serious minded guy mshould be with. she is truthful and committed to me, loves me, cares about us and godly. but me i want her cookies jar and take the next available flight, but the more i try to have her cookies, the more it becomes difficult. she want love and affection but me want her kitty catshe's no way related to any gold digging tendency. now, here lies the problem, i want to break up and let her go because theres no iota of affection for any woman anymore(becauseJennifa) took it all away, breaking up with my enstrange gf, Mary is a bit difficult and its as good as a tough battle for me to fight. i dont want to break an innocent heart and constitute another heartless folk like me to the society. Though i believe in love but its complicated. romancelander, how do i kill a stubborn rat without shedding blood? thanks your guy, REEL14 |
