No I don’t think so.
In EPL, La Liga, Serie A etc, top 4 will qualify for UCL
5,6 will qualify for Europa.
The Europa winner also qualifies for UCL and theoretically they could be in any position in the league table.

So say the EPL table looks like this when the season ends:
1) Liverpool
2) Man C
3) Spurs
4) Chelsea
5) Arsenal
6) Man U

Let us say Europa final is Chelsea vs Arsenal
1) If Chelsea wins Europa, does Arsenal also qualify for UCL since Chelsea was already 4th in EPL and so that spot gets handed down to the next team?
2) If Arsenal wins Europa does Chelsea still qualify for Europa since they merited that spot by finishing 4th in EPL?

The sad thing remains is that no EPL team will win this elusive UCL trophy for a long time to come. I still remember my Chelsea’s incredible win of 2012 but often wonder when the next English club is ever going to win this UCL again.
