Beedude: Same Bayern he failed never lost Bundesliga under his watch. After he left Dortmund won the league. They sacked ancelloti in same Bayern but pep resigned willingly to move to England. We are talking of 4 England cups here not 3. Na only man city start the season? Where are Liverpool, Chelsea, man utd, arsenal and Tottenham? He's making a mockery of EPL already. Last year he won with 19points, he defeated all his oppositions in EPL for 2 years straight, something that last happened in 1986 or so. How many ucl did Alex Ferguson win in 26 years at man utd if champions league was that easy? People like u called him a scam in his first year at EPL when he was still building his team, now he is bossing all of u around in the so called most competitive league. Is he the only coach in EPL? Mourinho never won ucl with Chelsea and Madrid despite spending enough at both clubs but was able to win with Porto and inter with lesser revenue . Cr7, Kaka, bale, modric and Co were signed but didn't even enter the ucl final until 5years later, Chelsea started spending millions in 2004/5 but didn't win a ucl cup until 2013. Football isn't mathematics cos it seems u wanna start judging him on UCL alone without considering other cups he's winning. U can say whatever u like but even Mourinho, Klopp, Conte, Sarri, Emery and Co dey envy Pep . He is the best right now and has won in every country he as coached. He is the Messi of coaches You are hyping Pep too much. He is a brilliant coach but facts are facts that he has failed to deliver Champions League trophies to the two clubs Bayern and Man City. Remember, Bayern mostly always wins their league and so they really needed Pep to help them win UCL. Bayern has won UCL without Pep and so in my opinion, Pep failed at Bayern despite having 3 opportunities to go to UCL final. At city same thing. Though winning the EPL is a bigger challenge than many other leagues, he has done well by winning two (soon). However, he has failed to even make it to UCL finals with Man City. So Pep still has more to do to cement his name among the greats. |

Iziquiel: Lol.. Now you have agreed that Barcelona and Madrid are super teams, it's a good thing that you acknowledged that fact. The last time I checked, the other below average teams in the Farmers League have been dominating the Europa League. The EPL teams are so good yet they fall like pack of cards in the UCL year in year out while two Spanish teams rule over them. I'm sure you know where the UCL is going to this season. Now I'm hoping that Tottenham can scale through Ajax tomorrow so I can beat a team from the overhyped EPL in the finals. Overrated League with Noisy followers. Exactly ... super teams. That’s why it is a binary league. You are not able to discern then difference because you are programmed to either support Barca or RM. you are a binary robot with no choice ... that is why you yourself still follow the EPL. It is why you are on an EPL thread. Your binary league does not have the same level of excitement On top of all that RM & AM dumped out of UCL too despite having first leg wins. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester City Vs Leicester City (1 - 0) On 6th May 2019 by ReeLoaDead(m): 2:34am On May 07, 2019 |
Dammykrone: But Those Binary League Dominated Europa League And Champions League In The Past 8 Years Not really ... EPL teams have also been winning Europa Of recent. In fact EPL teams never really took Europa seriously in the past because there no real financial incentive for them. In the 2014/2015 season, with the rule change to give a UCL slot to the Europa winner, EPL teams now have something worthwhile to play for in Europa. La Liga remains a binary league ... In Nigeria, as is the case in many other countries apart from Spain, you only have La Liga fans that are either Barca or Real Madrid fans - period. Very binary. |
