Elvis2kay: At least I know 1 guy who can't wait for 3months doctor appointment in DK. He went to Nigeria,Abuja pricesly for treatment Try telling this to these illiterate IPOB traders on Nairaland. They will tell you you are lying. Their simple minds work like this: Nigeria = bad, UK = good. Therefore, nobody from UK can go to Nigeria for treatment. They have a LOW IQ, so it cannot be more complicated than that for them. |

Mccollins042: You are an excuse of a human being, is this asslicking or are you jinxed? Is there no nonsense you will support in the name of ethnic or tribal sentiment? You mean YOUR tribal sentiment of supporting for president a man who never built a single school in his state for 8 years as governor? Who refused to pay his state DOCTORS for a whole year after they protested abysmal pay and working conditions? Whose only notable 'achievement' was a dodgy brewery he profited from? You IGBOS were TRASHING this same Peter Obi when he was governor. Then he turned presidential candidate, and all of a sudden, became ANGELIC in your tribalistic heads, insisting that all Nigerians must vote for him or else they are tribalists! YOU ARE SICK, DEMENTED PEOPLE. |

izombie: That i don't live everywhere in nigeria does not mean i don't live somewhere in nigeria. Hospitals that are not even available to nigerians will be available to foreigners. You know the minister dey lie or maybe the hospitals are too big for nigerians to see. Shut up and stop talking rubbish. Do you realise there are THOUSANDS of hospitals and clinics in Nigeria, many of them PRIVATE? What makes you think there are no well-equipped private hospitals in Nigeria that can be approached by foreigners? Blasted morons with inferiority complex. Just because you are useless in your life doesn't mean there are no successful, thriving establishments in Nigeria which you know absolutely NOTHING about. Genesis Specialist Hospital, Lagos, which is private, is a TOP CLASS HOSPITAL with state of the art facilities, and highly trained medical staff. That is just ONE example. There are NUMEROUS throughout Nigeria. |

Kay25: We just mad for this country sha ..how we go dey supply wetin we never bellefu of? One reason is because compared to Nigeria, those countries are in near-total darkness. Access to Electricity in Nigeria is around 65% of the population, while in Niger for instance, it is 14%, ie barely 3 million people out of their 26 million population. So it’s actually a moral duty that we help them, even if we are also struggling. |

obailala: If it's truly going to be privately funded, then it 100% makes sense. But is it?Last time I checked, the govt has reversed itself and is now fully funding the first phase (about 44km or so). Or are we talking of a different project?
And hey hey hey, quit trying to delude yourself or deceive anyone that you're trying to do the niger delta a favour here; quit playing to the gallery with those overused political and ethnic gimmicks. Everyone knows it's a good project IF it's actually built and no one is against it on that basis; however the current debate bothers strictly on prioritisation and the practicality of its realisation. Can Nigeria afford over N15trillion to build the road when the same Nigerian govt claims it lacks funds to complete the East-west road after over 20 years?
For the past 20+ years you've not been able to complete the simple dualisation of the already existing east-west road which traverses the entire niger delta citing lack of funds, but miraculously you have the funds to start a brand new road? For a road which may take another 20-30years to build, you claim you're doing it for the niger delta but you're starting from Lagos? Mr Man, that road will be completed in 7 to 8 years maximum. I don't know where you people and Obi are plucking out these outlandish figures like 30 years and all this nonsense. You need to stop this. Regarding the funding, ''The total estimated cost of the 700km Lagos-Calabar Coastal road project is put at N15.6 trillion. The funding model for the Lagos-Calabar coastal road project is EPC+ (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Financing) where the federal government would put up a counterpart financing of around 30% while the contractor funds the remainder.Last October, FEC approved the EPC+ model for this project in favor of Hitech Construction company. Going by the estimated N15.6 trillion cost for the entire coastal road stretch, the federal government’s counterpart fund is around N4.68 trillion. The federal government, in a bid to hasten the commencement of the project, decided to finance construction of the first 47km in phase 1 of the road project, which runs from Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island to the Lekki Deep Sea port. The contract sum of N1.06 trillion was awarded for this section by FEC to Hitech, and construction is ongoing with unprecedented speed. Whatever funding FG is providing for this section of the road will come under the FG’s counterpart fund. I must emphasize that this funding model adopted by the Tinubu administration is the best model possible, considering the country’s revenue size. This is a monumental infrastructural project being majorly funded with private finance. This is possible because the coastal road is extremely viable.'' https://pmnewsnigeria.com/2024/05/06/lagos-calabar-coastal-road-leave-the-talk-lets-face-the-business/ |

oweniwe: Stop wasting your energy replying.
Most of these people have not travelled out of their States before.
Swamp is even different and lot more difficult to build on than river with just banks on the two ends.
The length of the bridges that will need to be built eh, At a point, you will even get tired of driving on bridge and start yearning for dry land And you think the contractors have not surveyed the entire terrain before signing the contract? Do you have any idea the legal penalties that company will pay if they fail to execute the project, in breach of their obligations? Forum of kids! Dude, that project has started in earnest, and is already employing thousands of Nigerians directly and indirectly. All discussions here are just to let off steam. What you should be doing now is strategizing on how you can start one cool business near a beach along the route and see how far. Some guys are already perfecting their strategy while you're here yarning dust. |

Truuth: Hey I get your question.
First and foremost, there is nothing like another planet. The Earth is a closed system, there's water above the firmament of the earth.
God created the sky(firmament) to separate the waters above from the waters below.
The earth is basically inside water at every side and all way round.
It is not possible to leave the earth. The only to leave the earth is a if a person dies. In your physical body you can't.
As for your question. Jesus was human after the resurrection - He told Thomas, a spirit has not flesh and bones but I do. He was carried through a portal into heaven bypassing the waters above the firmament.
If a human passes through the firmament and then through the waters above earth, will he get to heaven YES - but you die before you get there. It's not to possible to leave the earth in your physical body.
Is heaven in the physical plane, somewhere far above the sky - I think so. But you can't reach there or go there, because of the barrier. Interesting input. But you spoilt it by including the Jesus fairytale in it. There is no evidence he ever lived, much less flew to heaven via a magic portal. By the way, what do you think lies beyond the water in which the Earth is ensconced? Or is what we call the universe just a large sea of water? Also, what in your view stops the Earth from just floating away or sinking inside this water? |

The major reason Christians here support Israel is we Christians know all the evil they have done to d Christians in Nigeria. Most Muslims support terrorism. They support killing of Christians everywhere. U people keep quiet on d killing of Christians in Nigeria but always come online to condemn Israel because they are killing d Islamic terrorist. Do u expect the Christians to support the Muslims that we know they are full of wickedness. Isrealis are jew so how will Christians support them because of religion. If the traditionalist start killing d Islamic terrorist, we go support them. There are things u need to understand. YOU CANNOT SUPPORT THE BOMBING OF INNOCENT CIVILIANS INCLUDING CHILDREN. STOP SUPPORTING EVIL. 40,000 INNOCENT CIVILIANS, OF WHICH 15,000 WERE CHILDREN, KILLED SO FAR IN GAZA. STOP SUPPORTING GENOCIDE. |

Franzinni: There is no heaven ... Live everyday for today and stop believing in the white mans heaven with white angels and white God and white Jesus ...
Heaven is as real as unicorns. You are WRONG. What we call ‘heaven’ due to Christian influence is what Africans traditionally call ‘the land of the ancestors’. The knowledge of the Afterlife is VERY AFRICAN. It did not start with white people, who are relative newcomers to civilisation. Every traditional African priest will tell you for free that we ALL transit to the Afterlife regardless of religious belief, as a matter of course. Plus modern day accounts of near-death experiencers confirm that Consciousness survives physical death of the body. |

Jokerman: The creator has power over his creation.
Didn't you read he walked on water, made the lame work, made the blind receive their sight, Fed the hungry, resurrected from the dead and preached salvation to lost souls... So what is ascension that cannot be done? If he had these powers, why did he just use them to help one or two people instead of all people on Earth? Why come all the way from 'heaven' as the ''son of God'' only to raise one man from the dead, and feed a couple of people? Why didn't he just end world hunger? He could have easily commanded the land to produce ten times more food for all eternity before flying back up to 'heaven'. WAS THE DOCTRINE OF HELLFIRE INVENTED SO THAT PEOPLE WOULDN'T ASK THESE QUESTIONS? |
