Same Nigerians will criticize the government if it purchases F-35. They will tell you such money can upgrade the whole universities in Nigeria.

You can never satisfy Nigerians . Not even Christ or Mohammed.

that was not the original plan of the road,if you visit that area you will notice that people have refused to put infrastructure on the original route,the one that affects landmark beach is a new plan altogether.

If na road dey bring more tourism and international standard hotels, how much tourism and International standard hotels have sprung up on the Lagos Ibadan express, Benin Ore express, and existing highways in the country?

Same existing highways are currently a haven for armed robbers, kidnappers and murderers, with many countries issuing travel advisories against travelling to most parts of Nigeria.

Instead of the government to invest in making the present road network better and safer, it is instead squandering money on a white elephant coastal highway? .. Please what exactly is there to tour in Nigeria's coast that warrants such a highway.. What can't the existing highways do that a "Coastal highway" can?

If we go by the nigerian trend of project execution, that road will not be commissioned in less than 10 years. So why couldn't they start from a spot that can let the beach run until they're ready to finalise that spot or just start from the Calabar end? After all it's a dual road.

The coastal road will bring in way more tourism than just one business. Imagine how many coastal businesses will spring up along the whole coast including international standard hotels and other investments.

When I heard the owner of Landmark argue that he knew about the road project, acquired his land so that the road could run behind it and that this administration came on board and altered the project course to run through his beach front, I was shocked!

Landmark CEO is crying because FG wants to build a highway in front of his resort blocking access to the ocean. They don't need to demolish it to damage the resort... They've greatly diminished its value with this Act.

I seriously doubt if the accused persons killed the policewoman directly as being alleged. There is no sign of violence on the body of the woman. The woman may have had an underlying delibitating illness now triggered by the scuffle which led to her untimely death. I have no doubt in my mind that the police merely wants to frame these people with murder out of bitterness. You must want to believe this, but it is not true. It was very easy for us to see the benefits of religions that did not require blood sacrifices. And it is obvious that you are better off with religions of the books than religions based on archaic ignorance.

For your information, the British themselves were given Christianity by Rome the same way the British then gave it to us. Difference is the British went on to use their own minds to interpret and understand the book unlike us who still believe what we are told. But that's a time thing.

Most of them have memorized entire books because they are not allowed to be seen with physical Bible. So each of them read out the portion they have memorized during fellowship. They have discovered true fulfillment that can only be found in Christ. It is my earnest prayer that you find it also.

The reason we abandoned our African spirituality is the same reason the Romans abandoned Jupiter, and the Greeks abandoned Zeus, and the English abandoned Tiw, Woden, Thor and Frig. Basically, a better God came along with a book. And rather than go backwards to those mythical gods, the world is now locking its citizens in classrooms to educate them so they worship the God of Knowledge, just as Nigeria is wisely doing already, though unconsciously and very slowly.

Education, as in, feeding people with the fruits of knowledge, opens the eyes and empowers people to use their own senses instead of being brainwashed to believe in myths. And what Nigeria needs to understand is that the fruits of knowledge are not poisonous and will not kill anyone.
