Here's the issue: my Kia Optima started getting hot, and I noticed that the radiator was clogged. I took it to a repair shop to have it fixed. After it was fixed, I started driving home and began experiencing sudden jerks when putting the car in reverse or drive.

So, I had the car scanned, and an error came up. However, the problem now is that the mechanic attempted to clean the mentioned component, and the car is driving well now. However, there is still a delay and jerking when putting it in reverse.

Has anyone else experienced this or know what I can do about it?

9h, my car engine cost 1.3m

Besides, i figured the issues, it was the turbo engine that causing the smoke not the car engine

Bro af been thru this stage b4,b4 i got my engine 500k. I wasted almstt 200k repairing cone rod,bending,this that,still my engine knocked aft 2 months despite me guaging my oil and all that every morning b4 i start my engine. There's nothing like the knock sound or anything, the car runs fine.

Bad engine, don't try to repair the bad engine, if you do, the smoke will go for a while and come back double again . Go buy another engine

Apart from the occasional smoke, there's no issues with engine performance or anything else, just the smoke

Sell the engine 70k,add money like 200k buy another engine. Just like engine,mechanics will mess up your car. Buy another engine...

Which engine, the car engine or the turbo engine?

Advise from my mechanic, could the be the treatment?

I used mobile 1 and added oil treatment

The car has a turbocharger ) , start giving out smoke but stop after awhile, when I noticed this, I talk to my machanic which suggest it might be due to worn out ring, although I did my research and discovered faulty turbo charger can cause a car to emit smoke, so I talk to him, and the car was taken to those that fix turbo charger, note. It actually did fix the issues, but this week when I did oil change, I noticed the smoke again, which made me wonder what might be the cause,
So, my question now Is, could it be the turbo charger that's the issue or the worn out piston rings,?
If it's worn out piston ring, it's advisable to replace
Or should I take the car back to those guys that repair turbo charged for further complain

either mineral oil or synthetic oil, make sure you use the right oil weight, in your case 5w30 and make sure don't let the oil stay too long before changing, 3000 miles or 3 month to for mineral oil, and 6000 miles or 6 months for synthetic oil ( best estimates)

I can switch from Mobil 1 to super 2000 5w-30 without any issues right ?

Please is Mobil super 2000 5w-30 a good substitute for mobil 1 5w-30 since the two are 5w-30 oil type , the car In question is Hyundai/koa 2013
