I bought some locally made tiles in Abeokuta ( victory and goodwill) 4 days ago.
The prices are given per carton, not sqm.

kitchen wall = 2900

Toilet wall = 2800

Toilet floor = {40*40} 3800

Kitchen floor = {40*40} 3800

Sitting room, entrance porch and rooms = {40*40} 4400(victory).
Goodwill is 4300. There are some for 3800, which are the plain ones.

Go and do the pricing yourself. If you go with your tiler and he's known to them at the outlet, they'll add 50 or 100 per carton for him. They added 100 for us but we were ahead of them. Imagine paying that for over 500 cartons. He doesn't need to give them any signal. Some tilers too loiter around the outlets too. If you involve them in selecting a good tiles and all that, the sales person might add the tiler's rebate to the price they'll give you.

I'm paying 400 naira per sqm.

1. Thanks for this information, please a quick one, based on the following prices you gave, how many pieces are in a carton, for the various sizes you bought.

2. Can you please show pictures of what these tiles look like, and if the tiler has installed any, let's see the job delivery.

3. Can this tiler work in Lagos, that's if they're done with your job of cos.

I believe the quote is fair enough. Also he's right for 4inch pipes to be used for soil and waste pipes. He need to separate the waste pipes from the soil to avoid return of bad odour through your floor drain and wash hand basin

Good day all, please i need help with this quotation from my plumber, the quote is for a 3 bedroom external plumbing to the septic tank/soak away as well as installing the tank on the concrete slab of the said building, with two taps outside the house, i am more concerned with the quantity of pipes he quoted and his workmanship, he said its 4 inches pipe that is used for both waste water and (sh!t) and he quoted 33 pieces, attached is the quote, thanks all.

1. 5,500 per square meter I will not buy any materials

2. N50,000.00 workmanship but I will buy materials

i need some advice, i roofed my house almost two years ago and due to paucity of funds, i couldn't do the ceiling, so i am gathering funds at the moment to do pop and wiring of the house,

now the questions are as follows:

1.
Just found out that there are some leakages in the roof, i am aware that flash-bands are used to plug these leaks, i want to ask if it can be done from the inside since i have not done the ceiling yet, cos i really don't like to have it outside , cos it kind of stands out, and almost all who see the roof will know you are fixing a leak, and it tends to affect the beauty of the roof.

2.
I want to do pop and wiring, can it go hand in hand, or one should come before the other, if so in what order should it be done. And after the pop is done, does it need painting again or not?

Sometimes it's easier to sit down and conclude that some people didn't try their best as parents in the upbringing of their kids, but I beg to differ, YOU CAN FORCE A HORSE TO THE RIVER BUT YOU CAN'T FORCE IT TO DRINK WATER

I can relate to this situation cos I'm in one myself, I have a brother of the same age living with my parents, and he has kids himself(plenty children).he smokes weed, have no serious thing he's doing and doesn't care, cos as bad as it can get, my parents still feed him.

He's 37, some would say what were the parents looking at before it got this bad, trust me, our parents did their best, there's virtually nothing they didn't try prayers, soldiers, etc(trust me if you've ever had a problem/challenge, a thousand and one people will offer differentst solutions) in short he got the very best of everything they had to offer, and we're not a polygamous family oh,

Money was gathered to rent a place for him, the landlord complained about him, when the rent expired, he was served a quit notice, now he's back in the house with the kids(he didn't go with them)

The situation we find ourselves in today is as a result of the choices we made in the past, and when it backfires on us, we look for who to put the blame on, then you hear talks like, it's from the village blah blah blah.......now he threatens our parents on a regular basis and I've been called by neighbors to come and take away my parents before he harms them.

We the other siblings have our own families too.

I/we still pray for him, I believe he can and will eventually change, I still talk to him, show him love and I encourage my parents to do the same, but I believe he alone can make him change if he wants to.

I'm still open to opinions of others, cos anything that can help will be greatly appreciated

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, but with genuine reasons why they went wrong, clients can be placated and constant communication will build solid understanding on the premise of forthcoming with the truth.

But when things go wrong and the person at the hem of affairs refuse to take responsibility and find the best way possible to approach the issue in other to pacify his clientele, then trust me, something shady has happened, since chinos has not said a word on this matter, then it leaves me to allow my imagination run wild.


Maybe he has done the unthinkable and our goods have grown wings and flew away / disappear (hopefully that is not the case) or he has been arrested, hence the reason for non communication, i cant fathom how a human being with a heart can sit quietly somewhere , when his house is on fire and do nothing, obviously he is incapacitated spiritually or physically.

Just know this, with our varying level of grief coupled with the sleepless nites over our goods and the money we have paid you, either PRAYER or CURSE you will surely get one, if a high percentage of people decide to do the latter........ you brought it upon yourself
