PoliticsPeter Obi: The President We Need, The President We Will Get by Reinvented(op): 12:22pm On May 30
As the journey to the 2027 elections gathers momentum, and the different President candidates emerge, we are confident that Nigeria stands the chance of getting it right this time around.

Of all the presidential candidates, Peter Obi stands out. PO is not coming as a messiah, but we believe he will pull Nigeria out of the woods within a space of 4 years.
Let's face it. Tunde Idiagbon of blessed memories transformed Nigeria 🇳🇬 ethical values in 20 months. People were queueing and observing clear moral values. We believe that once the head abhors corruption , the rest of the body will follow suit.

We know Obi to be a frugal person, a culture he imbibed in Anambra. So, come May 29, 2027, corruption will become a criminal offense. Executive rascality will be curbed all over. The head sets the tone, or Tones are set at the Top. The economy will follow a transparent recovery. Subsidy removal impact will be cushion by the Subsidy benefits. Today, no-one know where the money goes. All we hear and see are taxes, borrowing and more taxes.
Borrowing will be halted, while stolen wealth will be recovered from all those that stole Nigeria naked.
The power, agriculture and education sectors will receive greater boost. Like PO asserted, the middle-belt and the North will resume production and deepen capacity. Nigeria will move from a consumption driven economy to a production driven one. Nigeria will be OK.

Insecurity persists because of lack of accountability. The security personnel are not accountable, becausethe government itself is not. They are not partly to blame because the current administration lacks capacity. They have no answer, and are not ready to seek help. They thrive more on propaganda and blame game. Tinubu has never come out to say, I take responsibility 😤, rather his team will blame past government, blame opposition, blame God and blame weather, etc. No accountability.
The NDC government under Peter Obi will change that. Officers and men of the Nigeria Armed Forces, the police and paramilitary will be retrained, re-equipped, re-orientated, and re-organized. Professionalism with accountability will be enforced so much so that jurisdictional responsibility will require jurisdictional accountability. The DPO of a catchment must be able account for illegal activities in his/her jurisdiction. No telltale stories, performance indices will be enforced. Criminals are everywhere in the world, but in some jurisdictions, they are curtailed because of enforcement of the law. Nigeria 🇳🇬 of today is a lawless state. That must change. A new Nigeria 🇳🇬 is POSSIBLE.

Educational and social justice will evolve. Our judiciary today has become an arm of the APC government. We will help the NJC to purge itself of corruption. There are no two ways about it. Shape in or ship out. The culture of cash and carry justices will be stamped out. Our legislature will regain independence and remuneration will be open and transparent. That much will be said later. Our electoral process will become credible, no room for manipulation. Electronics Transmission of results will be revisited.

Restructuring of Nigeria 🇳🇬 will based on capacity and competence, if need be selective revisit will be made on the 2014 Confab document.

The era of tribal, religions of cronies appointmentwill be over. Thank God, Obi has no Onitsha Boys such as Tinubu’sLagos Boys. Heads of government must be competent individuals 🙄, not resulting to primordial practices of ethnic and tribal clouts. Our Green-White-Green flag and our Green Passports will be respected again. Actions will beget reactions. Moral decadence will be restored both socially and otherwise. Nigeria youth will be empowered to create genuine wealth, and not Yahoo-Yahoo and prostitution.

Normally cars like these go under $5,000 given the mileage and the damage but used cars in the US are stupendously expensive nowadays .
But given it's a wagon and not a truck , which no one wants and the damage and mileage, cars like these are destined for the scrap yard.
I won't pay more than 2 grand cash for this car .

PoliticsRe: NDC: They May Have Sold Peter Obi A Dummy For A Second Time by Reinvented(op): 5:17pm On May 18
DomPerignon:
The fact that obi refused to commit by purchasing the presidential form of the ADC as asserted by Atiku's camp is evidence that Obi only drifted to the ADC in hopes that Atiku picks him as his running mate.
When Obi saw that this wasn't going to happen following Atiku's displeasure of Obi not contributing to their 2019 joint ticket and Obi weakening Atiku's chance by defecting from the PDP to the LP and splitting Atiku's votes , Obi then ran to the NDC.
As things stand , Obi isn't even sure of NDC ticket as Kwankwasso has not withdrawn from the race and has stated severally he is all in to contest as a substantive candidate.
What is sure is that Kwankwasso will leave NDC if he doesn't get the ticket or if he dies, Obi will beg him to make him running mate.
Your thoughts and opinions do not align with the assumption that NDC has already zoned their ticket to the South. I think Kwankwaso will still be willing to work with PO, but surely, they cannot win, at least not on the first ballot.
PoliticsNDC: They May Have Sold Peter Obi A Dummy For A Second Time by Reinvented(op): 5:03pm On May 18
If my hunches are right, Peter Obi may have been sold a dummy ... AGAIN!!! The last time was LP, now it is NDC. His desperation may have been leveraged on again to shortchange him. Before you castigate me, look at it this way.

Weeks before Kwankwaso joined the ADC, he was invited by the president to join the APC. After a series of meetings, we were told the alliance failed because he wanted to be made the VP. Despite his rejection, the governor of Kano State, Kwankwaso's political protege, joined the same APC. Instead of facing impeachment and other challenges like Fubara, he got away with it. Kwankwaso then joined the ADC, which was forming a formidable opposition to the APC nationally, with Atiku and Obi as the arrowheads.

A few weeks later, the NDC was registered by the INEC, and boom, Kwankwaso and Obi defect to the NDC. This action effectively weakened ADC's capacity to defeat Tinubu.

What I sense is that Kwankwaso might have been used to lure Peter Obi out of the ADC, thereby undermining the capacity of a single opposition alliance to wrestle power from Tinubu. I foresee the Kwankwasiya Movement later realigning with the APC soon after the 2027 elections or even before the elections. That way, Kwankwaso would be a possible APC flagbearer in 2031. There are ominous reasons to believe that the current NSA, who was originally a possible candidate for 2031, may have been dropped by the "puppet master", Tinubu.

In mt opinion, Peter Obi is not really a strategic politician, even though some of us believe he would have been a better president than Tinubu. Leaving the coalition has left the opposition with shared votes. Then again comes GEJ, who would be flying the PDP torn umbrella under a faction, rather than the full house.

In all of this, my only wish is that Tinubu should endeavour to translate his political strategy and sagacity into economic and political benefits for Nigeria.

1. I am a Christian, so I will refer you to 2 Kings 7: 1-2. I pray the Holy Spirit to UNSEAL this scripture for you. Please, join me and doubt not.

2. Why are we paying N850 per litre if I may ask? Answer, Naira is very weak because our leaders are not smart and sincere. Do you know that corruption in oil and gas alone is "stealing the N40b" you referred to?

3. Be positive and pray for God's favour and mercy for Nigeria. I have God's favour, how do I know? Every organization I found myself in Nigeria and outside experiences turnaround. Not because I am very smart, but He shows me mercy and favour, so that I cannot fail, and I will not fail Nigeria.

Politics2027: I Want To Be President- Let Us Reinvent Nigeria by Reinvented(op):
I have been watching and critiquing these governments and they keep regressing instead of progressing. So, why not throw myself into the rings to challenge the corrupt leadership. If we all sit on the fence, who knows which side the fence will fall on. Hence, I have resolved to present myself for 2027 elections.

My manifesto: Re-invent Nigeria
1. Reduce petrol pump price to N500 per litre on May 29, 2027
2. Implement Orasanye report in full, effective June 30, 2027
3. Revisit and implement 2014 Confab report on regionalism in phases

10. Introduce free and compulsory 8 yeare elementary and 4 years high school education. Only last 4 years in university paid for. Event at that States will be mandated to create Education loan scheme collateralized by Education Certicates.
11. Criminalize out of school children with parents liable to N2 years jail or N1m fine effective from May 29, 2027
12. Reactivate cargo trains from ports to inland with the plan to reduce haulage trucks by 50% in 4 years.
13. Re-organize and privatize the power sector with independent power generation and distribution companies by Regions and LGAs
14. Enforce fully accountable Local Council autonomy with annual professional audits by reputable audit firms approved by the FG.
15. Redeploy all presidential airfleet to a new National carrier. The president will be flying commercial airlines.
16. Implement 50% tarrif on textiles, shoes and any imported apparel, human hairs, etc with effect from July 15, 2027.
17. Reduce NASS to only 73 members (2 each per state plus Abuja). This will be based on Nigeria people referendum.
18. Phase out all foreign made automobiles in government by 2029
19. Build East-West rail, Niger-Yobe line, Kaduna- Onitsha and PH - Kano rail. All will be speed trains with 25 years warranty from constructors
20. Introduce "Proudly Nigerian Spirit" brand with stiff jail time for corruption, frauds, stealing and capital punishment for banditry, drug offences and armed robbery.

I am looking for a viable political platform to challenge Tinubu and others in 2027.
I hate corruption and have worked for all I own.

The only benefits I have received from Nigeria was N450 bursary awarded by Delta State, so I an clean to challenge these corruption.

Join me let's reinvent Nigeria. We can be better than Canada. I know how things work there and we can copy and paste.

There had to be some painful medicine taken. I’m seeing smart leadership from Tinubu in spite of the hate.

Inflation dropped from 35% to ~24% MOM
Debt yields have fallen to a 5 year low
Oil output has increased. In Jan, the country hit a 4 year high 1.54 million barrels, exceeding the OPEC quota.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/newsletters/2025-02-18/next-africa-has-nigeria-turned-a-corner-investors-think-so
Falsehood does not run government. You rebate your benchmark year from 2022 to 2024 and you deceive yourself that inflation drop. Why not rebate your $1 benchmark to N1500, then the Devaluation will also drop to 3.3% (1550/1500 -1)% as against (1550/460-1)% or 237%.

You can manipulate statistics, but the macroeconomics are real.
