Simply, the Igbos invaded our land. That's what invaders do, they force their names and religion on you. If you doubt, go and ask the north who were invaded by Fulanis who forced Islam on them and today almost all of them bears the name Alhaji, Muhammad, etc. (invaded religious related names). The Igbos all ran away at the heat of the civil war and their evil plot failed. We the indigenes stayed and defended our land.

Achieving constant electricity would be a gradual process and i think government got the policy right for the first time with the Band classification.

The more Band A consumers are willing to pay a fair rate, and with expected increase demand, the more investment that will be attracted to our energy sector.
Let not be too critical of good policies. Give it sometimes to see how it work and criticise after. Everything should not be cho cho cho.

I spent 3 years in the UK when i was running my masters and charity programmes. The first year, there was blackout for only 3 hours for the entire 12months calender and it's only lightning situation that turns off the light. We cook, bath, exercise, clean the house, iron, use heater (in winter), use AC (in summer), etc. and do almost everything with electricity such that a long blackout could result to deaths. Here in Nigeria we're blessed otherwise blackout would have killed millions.

And, i don't know what you're trying to argue on or defend about Nigeria's electricity. Until you have only 4 to 6 hours entire year's blackout and not a "7 days light with a brief" as you described, you've not seen light yet. Okay?

Did vandalism create estimated billings or your bad electricity? Who will open a powered transformer well equiped with security alarm system to vandalise when they know that they'll be dead to touch a fully powered and functioning system and would be caught if their presence triggers an alarm. The question is, what security measures are the electricity companies taking to ensure safety on their mayopic equipment? Sadly none! We're in a country where electricity is not taken seriously and you're here blaming yourself instead of their failures? Modern transformers have inverters such that if there's blackout, the transformer remained powered. How many of such system do you have?

This is how their children die in the hands of Israel and the world begin to shout genocide.
