lawani:You still don't understand how this works, do you? Things are expensive because demand of goods is higher than the products available. |
You leave your country politics wan discuss US own, guy take it easy. It doesn't work that way even if they give rent for free. One of the things causing inflation is high demands and less resources due to high population. It's not that population should be reduced, no, but more people needs to work and more products need to be available in surplus then things would automatically become very cheaper. You need to start discouraging the muslim community from marrying hundreds of wives and bear thousands of lazy and out of school children in order to emulate Muhammad. But if those multiple children can be industrial and productive, products will be in excess and things will be way cheaper than you imagined in your op. Because even if rent is free, thousands will still be homeless because houses are fewer than people. You need more houses that can accomodate many to get a cheaper rate. Got it? |

I think Turkey is just cracking joke. Nobody should think that as the US and Israel are faking disagreement on the surface that's exactly how it is. Go to Gaza, it's US amunitions, US soldiers and generals plus intelligence agency working fully with Israel to carry out every single one of those attacks. Or i maybe Turkey has joined the game to fake such statements to see how some terrorist backed nations would react. |
helinues:It is not the solution to anything, boy. Look, by the time you go to the market to buy Gas or kerosene, spices, oil, tomatoes, etc. in order to cook that rice which won't last for more than a month, you'll discover that you've been trapped because things would be more expensive and the government would told you they've given you rice. I don't know if they expect the rice to last forever. If not that you're a blind follower, you would have seen it for exactly what it is and not because it is your grand father's turn to be in aso rock. |
helinues:I commended the governor because he didn't divert the palliative. As for the federal government, they're the reason people are staying on queue for some rice. They're the cause of everyone's pains. It's not like a pandemic that's beyond anyone's might, it's something that can be fixed. Let me just put you up a bit. 1. Subsidy removal with zero plan to curtail its effect. 2. Floating the naira without first investing in our economy to become productive from consumption. 3. Having at least one working refinery (Dangote's) but refused to take advantage of it to better the nation out of jealousy over the plight of the masses. Why not bring back subsidy now, sell to Dangote at lowest price, then regulate the price as thus: Diesel N200 Fuel N100 Kero N50 I will praise FG when they start solving problems and not creating more hardship. |
sIfioksq:please, Can you list what you mean by real solutions and the exact procedure that bring it to light? |

Protest can be postponed but can't be stopped. Actually, Nigerians are not pushed to the wall yet. This protest was motivated by Kenya's protest that's why it didn't have any meaningful tag than #endbadgovernancenow. Even if the government focus on ending bad government, it may take more than 10 years or even, forever to do so. Assuming it was tagged #Bringbacksubsidynow, then it would have been a serious thing as its effects would be immediately felt if implemented. Going on the street to request for end of bad government will only lead to promises that won't yield result. |
These are just guess figures. It does not reflect the true reality on ground. Nigeria is not digitized like any advanced nation around us to predict near-close figures that truly tell the reality in this country. Some of the states with lower figures in reality could have higher figures than the ones with higher figures in your stats. |
Una never tire of this una audio statements? Na wa o...! |
The protest may only be postponed but can't be stopped from happening. It will surely happen but i don't think now's the right time since almost everybody is cautioning against it. The problem is, Tinubu is not engaging with the people either directly or indirectly. I don't even think he has spy eyes in the traditional markets across the states like the US president to actually know the state of the economy he's leading. His lack of this information has made him continue to make his anti people's policies that has driven out investors and rendered thousands of people and jobs jobless and nonfunctional. |
Maybe Ubah was like a godfather to him. |
I've seen this before... |
They know that if nothing like protest happens in Abuja which is the seat of the president, nothing go come out. But this one surprise me, who give Wike this advice? While the main man Tinubu dey hide for toilet. |
It's a northern protest. The south should not take part in it. It's the north that voted in Tinubu. So, it's their responsibility to fix their own error. |
ChatGPT, you didn't even remove the *asteriks* to at least fake that it came from your head. |
Well, I think this protest should only happen in the north and let the south sit and watch how it onfolds. #Endsars happened by the south under Buhari without northern support. Now it's the turn of the north protest... No hard feelings! |
One thing is, Peter Obi will not bribe you. This guy must have received something from somebody and was looking for excuse to break away. Now he's got to use lies to flee. |
E no go pass N10k wey them use bribe them. |
But how can the police continue arrest innocent people in this country without proof? What kind of training are they given? The police force in this country needs a serious reform. |
When they failed to bring him down, they've resorted to spreading fake news about him. |
No be them vote Tinubu? Them never start...! |
How I knew that Tinubu was over hyped and he's just empty was when he removed subsidy and float the naira without a single plan and to worsen the matter, recruit corrupt officials into his ministerial cabinet. I just nod my head, this guy just wan be president. |
If to say na words of the mouth wey economy dey take grow, since Tinubu start him presidency, this country for better pass US and China combined economy. |
Your opinion, thoughts and imaginations are entirely yours and cannot decide the fate of others (like obi or kwankwaso). |
Build better hospital here in Nigeria, una no go hear. See? na even for hotel he die, if to say better hospital dey here, the time wey the health worsen for flight plus inside the hotel na for under better treatment here in Nigeria he for dey. Well, what else do i have to say than the usual "may his soul rest in perfect peace". |
This is another strategy to loot. Our politicians (including Governors) since Buhari don't have the brain for economic development, all the see is opportunity to loot in the guise of project. The best thing would be to give any willing individual not less than N10million grant or long term loan to do business with strong agreement that the person would produce in Nigeria and daily monitoring of the person's business activities as well as heavy sanction or prison sentence where they default, just like China did and today they're one of the top productive economy in the world. If we want to grow, we need new set of politicians with a better mindset, but we can only get those possibly from diaspora Nigerians. |
Wetin dey happen with France na? |
