1st some people received 5k not to go out to protest.
2nd some are paid to discourage others.
3rd some are paid to attack, loot and harm people, etc.

So, expect a downturn. The government of Tinubu is bribery and corruption, so don't expect him not to use money to force people into the norm.

In the case of Nigeria, no tribe is better than the other when it comes to crime. You mentioned Igbo, well, some Igbos have been involved in human trafficking, drugs, etc. abroad. No one tribe is a saint when it comes to crime, so, don't try to tribalise everything. However, i don't refer to the criminals from the SE states found guilty abroad as Igbos, I refer to them as Nigerians... So should you!

With all fully armed military plus police barracks presence in Sambisa, farmers will be encouraged and it will be large enough since Sambisa cut across several states and neigbhoring countries. Niger state too is a good site.
