SimonAndal: Killing the guy doesn't bring the girl back. An eye for an eye makes the world blind! You sound lyk one of dos religious hypocrites...what if dat lil' girl ws ur daughter or sister? Justice of ds sort serves as deterrence against reckless n careless shootings. Do u knw hw many cases of manslaughtr by d police goes unpunishd? Ds one hr is bt one treatd out of a hundred if nt more! |
Born is an adjective, not a verb. It's proper to say "give/gave birth to". i Guess what the guy wanted to use was the past participle of the word 'bear' - borne. "Child bearing" 'Born' means "existing as a result of birth". You are right! |
Don't you think if the 57 letters for creation of new states was rather for creation of countries it would have been better? I mean, deep down we know the truth. Nigeria as a country will never achieve its dreams of being one of the world's leading economies. We are wildly diverse, not just in religion, tribe and ethnicity; but in ambitions, believes and aspirations. We are just a bunch of incorrigible hypocrites if not fools sitting on a keg of gunpowder, time is what hampers our caving in. Fight against corruption is already defeated in foresight, providence can only help as far as what we see, the earlier we are divided the better. Posterity will prove me right... |
But come o, this protest, who them want make e help them? and help them do wetin? Restore muhammed back to power? Or abi na second term? You can't strengthen a weak god by weakening a strong God! |
van bonattel: It is easy to recruit religious killers especialy in a place populated by randy clerics hell bent on imprisoning and fvucking small gurls while brainwashing the unfortunate offsprings of such sinful unionsGod alone is our helper! |
War against corruption like i had asserted, should be top-bottom. I like that phrase "who said nigeria won't get better?". Ofcourse news of high-profile remanding of this sort is what should be trending nation wide till the system is sanitized. Our judicial sector should also be sifted and made trustworthy, it should be a place where the ordinary man can have justice, a place where equity and objectivity abound, a place for corrections etc! ICPC and EFCC should work together in handy so as to repaint our already mangled image... |
debrief08: He was womanising and got sacked, he no see the other woman he had an affiar with to beat? He no see the Boss wey sack am to beat, it is the poor woman who has to deal with his unfaithfulness na her he come carry double wahala put for her head. Broke the walls to his house. I no fit answer you again, like I said, smart man. Me am jus a woman, I no sabi anythingok! |
debrief08: Who told you it was a "fight"?. Abusive spouses dont need to be provoked? Abusive behavior is not about provocation but the need for control and the need to watch others in pain and beg them. That is all, it gives them a sense of power.read the post again, did you see where it stated the man had an history of womanizing? Don't you think the woman started the squabble because of this? Know this if you're married, 'the day you start questioning you husband's faithfulness that day you've opened a wrestling stage. The faithfulness of your husband to the marriage should be measured rather by his inward commitments not by presumed promiscuities'. My pity goes only to the poor girl whom i may recommend for counselling, since her experience may squeeze her into its mold, and that's a derogatory stigma at such age...! |
decrox199: y are u silly?i expected you to tell her she's welcome. But that's still nice, affirming what she supposedly called herself |
debrief08: Judging ke? How dare I? You didnt see me fully supporting and thanking you for opening our eyes blinded by women folly? Haba, You are very wise and smart. Off course she may have nagged him to the point that his only response was to get a saw and chop off her legs. You know us women, we require very tough hands to make us "behave" she would have been a well behaved perfect wife without legs, he should have sawed off her tongue too, lets see where she will get the mouth to nag.Your sarcasm is too obvious for me not to know that you're supporting your sex...what if i asked you the 'crux' of that fight, can you tell it? See, am not saying molestation is right. But from the story, the fight was repetitive, meaning if the man was that violent as you portray he probably would have been either killed before now or vice-versa. So you see, he must have been tolerant to a fault, so this day he just couldn't bear to watch his ego trampled! Am just thinking! |
45′ +2 HALF TIME: Manchester City 1-0 Arsenal 44′ Arsenal probe in and around the City box but the move breaks down and City can counter. 43′ Arsenal respond with a snatched effort from Cazorla following a decent spell of possession in the City third. 42′ Quick break from Man City ends with Dzeko swiping a strong shot at Mannone who does well to flick it over the bar. |
40′ Assist Gael Clichy 40′ Goal Joleon Lescott 40′ Manchester City 1-0 Arsenal (Lescott) 39′ Gibbs has been very good so far. Sinclair has him back peddling one-on-one but the Gunners' defend stands strong and makes a precise tackle inside the box |
38′ Arsenal look threatening again before Gervinho takes a heavy touch allowing Lescott to intercept. 37′ Ramsey breaks with pace through the middle and plays it to Gervinho who cuts in onto his right from from the left-flank but shoots wide of the near post. Arsenal fans at the opposite end of the ground think it's in. 36′ More groans as Toure carelessly gives it away when attempting to pick out Clichy on the run. |
debrief08: Ah, the "other side of the story" yes, forgive our folly, we are just women, what do we know, off course the man must have a very good reason for sawing off his wifes leg with his daughter watching, what do we know? Thats why we need good, balanced, non judgemental men like you to properly guide us right at all times.you see what am talking about? You didn't read me well, yet you're judging me already...thing is, i never said bullying is right in the first instance. What i meant is, before you judge, first get the details, critically analyse it by putting yourself in that situation, then you can evaluate. What if the woman was at fault and probably had started the squabble? What if she's an unrepentant nag? What if she had planned it with her daughter? You should know how a woman's heart is dark when desperate intent on a purpose...please let's be reasonable for once. Am neither a chauvinist, for the records. |
Many of you don't know a head or tail of neither of the couple, the post doesn't clearly narrate the story for one to take sides...yet here we are with nonobective judgement of the opposite sex, throwing abuses and blaming either the man or the woman for a story you barely even know. When will your chauvinistic minds incline to proper analysis before judgement? I know it didn't happen in Nigeria, for if it did, you'd have pointed fingers blaming the tribe you are not siding, then watch how pages will fly! God help us! |
What motivates me is simply the breath i breathe and the signs i see in me that God does really exist and is active in my life...! |
my question is, how are these guys recruited. Is it by conscription or willingly? Either of both, i think these guys are organised and their missions are highly classied and executed...clearly their sponsors have a goal, and i bet it's political. Politics hijacking an already mangled and confused religion as its tool. What i know is that, nobody or group can wage a war against this country and win, sooner if not soonest, fate and justice will catch up with them in a gory manner. Don't be flabbergasted or taken aback at the names you'll hear. Countdown! |
Ipso Loquita: @remzolution, u think you can do all that in just a day? terrorism is not child's play, its not a day's job to wipe a whole country clean of pests n this BH epidemicWhat Bh need is a leader who is radical, a leader who don't care whose toes he steps on until he accomplishes his task, a leader who doesn't allow justice cry out in vain, a leader who's timely in action...aren't you guys tired of these massacres? Where is your sanity? Who will deliver us from this deluded and mind-distorted savages? Miracles don't work here, i think self defense is imminent since our govt is doing eye service... |
OMG! Am beginning to get florid out of paranoia. These guys are poking us beyond bounds. I feel like hijacking the govt for just a day, i would unleash the entire Nigerian army into this Boko infested regions, sift them one after another till i fetch them out. And when i do, i will not only kill them but chop them up inch by inch for the vultures. How can a peace-seeking religion at the same time embark on holocaust? Even nature itself would gladly fight for the victimised...what country are we living in? |
Is it a repraisal as a result of its captured leader or taking out of anger because of the anti-islamic movie? These folks believe fighting for their god is obligatory. Shall we still sit back while they wear away our numbers? Impossible! |
why is it that Islam is synonymous with violence(killings)? Why does its leaders audaciously instill fear in pedestrians? Does these make islam anymore sacred than christianity? If they claim islam is peace-seeking, what message are they sending to a wanna-be like me? If they insist that islam supersedes, does it have to infringe on my right as human? If their god is supreme and respect-deserving, why don't he fight his war? If they dedicate their entire living protecting a defenceless god, who then will fight for them? Killing and prosecution of fellow kinsmen in the name of apostasy, where is the freedom of faith they preach? Placing bounty on the head of a film-maker, what right have they? If your bigotry has gotten to this level of outright madness, don't you think therapy recommendation is imminent? Islam (fools from war and poverty-stricken countries) is unequivocally, intent on the annihilation of other religions, even an atheist is also a target. How much more can the world at large, tolerate these? Am just thinking out loud...! |
76′ John Obi Mikel breaks after a superb one-two with Torres, but realistically he was never going to do anything with that. It deflects upwards, into Begovic's arms. 76′ John Obi Mikel breaks after a superb one-two with Torres, but realistically he was never going to do anything with that. It deflects upwards, into Begovic's arms. |
72′ Substitution Michael Kightly Matthew Etherington 69′ Oh, Oscar, Beautiful turn, then he rifles a shot just wide. What an effort, arguably Chelsea's best today. |
66′ Oscar almost has a goal there, as his shot is deflected by a Stoke foot and nearly wrong-foots Begovic. However, the big Bosnian recovers, and clutches the ball to his chest. 64′ Substitution Charlie Adam Michael Owen Here he is! It's little Mikey Owen! How very exciting. Show us what you've got, Michael. 61′ Substitution Eden Hazard Victor Moses On comes Victor Moses for his Stamford Bridge debut, in place of Eden Hazard, who has been made to look fairly ordinary by a stout Stoke defence. |
60′ All of a sudden, this game is rubbish. Chelsea seem allergic to shooting, then Stoke go up the other end and send a shot miles wide of the target through Michael Kightly |
53′ That was a cracking ball in, but Crouch can't quite get his long leg on it. A bit quiet so far, that was the first real chance. Now, there's one question on everyone's lips: When will Michael be on? 50′ Yellow Card Oscar 46′ Oh, well just like that we're back for the second half. It's still 0-0, as neither side could score during the half-time kickabout in the changing rooms. |
45′ +1 HALF TIME, and it’s 0-0 in what some would call a fascinatingly poised game. There have been few clear chances, with the best falling to Stoke’s Jonathan Walters, who saw a header cannon off the crossbar. Chelsea have had more of the ball, but they can’t get past a wall of red and white, so will need to be more incisive in the second half, otherwise the Potters will fancy taking a point or even three here. |
