There was a competition for grants for tech students called the 'STUDENT VENTURE CAPITALIST GRANT".

In fact, people like Blessing have alleged that only one nomination form was printed per position.

Why is this so?

The electoral act 2026 prescribes two methods of selecting candidates, direct primaries and consensus.

However, for the consensus option it says that all aspirants that have been screened and cleared must signify that they agree to the consensus.

What the NDC has done means that any aspirant that is not happy has no leg to stand on, because he did not buy any form, he was not screened, neither was he cleared.

You know this is what happened in PDP in 2015 that got all the northerners angry. GEJ told the party to print just 1 presidential form. No one else could contest for the ticket against him. And Obi was active in that government he knows how it went down.

Only people that pay this additional fee will be considered for the seat. They are grumbling and feeling scammed. They said Seriake Dickson na thief. Many of them are so disillusioned & cant speak out cos they support Obi.
