stuffs2002:
Can you face the truth for once in your life.
Peter Obi is not fit to rule a country because he is a failure
This is a fact Theyve brainwashed themselves not to comprehend.
Dt dude did not build one single school and said education is not for the poor. At least MOST governors anll over the country even build at least 1 school in their tenure cos public schools are simply not enough. Not obi.
He also watched doctors strike for 8 months. For 8 months Anambra people could not access a DOCTOR in any public hospital and he was okay with that.

Peter Obi was the worst of the worst of Nigerian governors. No single legacy project u can point to. Nothing.

Arostar2023:
Nobody asked for real time electronic voting but transmission of the results. After vote counting at the polling booths, the results should be transmitted electronically. Not a situation where someone will take the result sheet to his office, change the figures or manufacture new ones...
Keep deceiving yourselves. The hackers know what they are asking for. Opportunity to change the results like they planned to in 2023. The hackers crashed the portal. You’re trying to erase a problem and creating newer , more complex problems.

The best system is what we have now - Vote and count the ballots. All parties should have their reps there to watch the count and everyone signs the sheet. All the parties have their copies and inec uploads the sheets. Thats still the best option.
If ur sheet doesn’t align with what’s on IREV Theres evidence to use in court.

The state dt had sheets changed was in rivers state (not other states, most states were recorded accurately so this system works). In rivers state, the sheets weren’t entered in, they were forcefully collected by the state and rewritten. That is a problem that we find a specific solution to. The rivers state government should have been taken to court and had those votes nullified. That’s what the opposition should have done. Unfortunately even if the whole rivers state had voted obi, the difference wasnt enough to change the overall election results - he still came 3rd so INEC didn’t pursue that. I still think the opposition should’ve prosecuted so it doesn’t happen again.

No country does real-time electronic voting. All the developed countries still use ballots.
You can only do real-time voting by voting on computers. Developed countries are very against computer voting. They count votes.

Much ado about nothing. Seems those driving this computer voting just want to hack the systems.

Taking a loan is a CHOICE.

If you can work hard during the holidays and save for your fees. It’s always better to do that. Let those that truly need this loan take it.
It’s meant to relieve those that really don’t have hope or help for a higher education in the hopes they’ll pay later.

Remember you’ll still have to pay back. So only take it if there’s no other way to pay. That’s the purpose.

It’s both public and private. Everyone earning less than 7 figures monthly got reduced taxes & saw an increase in salary compared to previous months.

Luizkid:
A very insignificant increment in Salary.. 2k difference precisely.
But you paid more before. .eg. If you paid 7500 and it has now reduced to 4000 (depending on the % on your salary) So you go home with more salary.
That’s the point. Your tax reduced. Unlike the liars that said it would go from 7500 to like 10,000 and then your salary reduces.. Only the very rich who are like 5% of the population got higher taxes.

Theres also ‘rent relief’ available in the tax law. If your company’s HR didn’t add this to your tax refund, they should.

PoliticsRe: PAYE Cut Increases Workers’ Take-Home Pay In January — Oyedele by renderme:
This is true.

Nigerians realized on twitter that those against the tax law were indeed spreading propaganda. January salary entered people’s accounts and salaries increased due to lower taxes.

Exactly what this tax guy said was going to happen. The new tax laws reduced taxes for like 90% of Nigerian workers.

We thought these Northerners were more together and can't be influenced by money.
Tinubu's medicine-man must be really potent. He has successfully split the North into fragments. How are we now going to defeat this Slave-Master from coming in the 2nd time.
This is really crazier than I thought.
Gba fun oga e.
He is not a slave master. Every economic policy has been smart. Even his military policy has been smart.
He builds people and builds coalitions - a true LEADER. Something peter obi knows zero about and couldn't achieve with small labour party.
Leadership is not mouth. undecided Its sacrifice, vision and character.

PoliticsOsinbajo Unveils Billionaire Alakija’s 250-bed Medical Research Hospital In Osun by renderme(op): 10:12pm On Dec 17, 2025
Former Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo on Monday inaugurated a 250-bed Modupe and Folorunso Alakija Medical Research and Training Hospital in Osogbo, Osun State.

The hospital, donated by a philanthropist and Chancellor of Osun State University, Dr Folorunso Alakija, was handed over to the institution to boost medical education, research and healthcare delivery.

Speaking at the inauguration, Osinbajo described the facility as occupying a “rare and vital space,” noting that it would serve as a centre for learning, research and discovery.

He said the hospital would enable students of medicine and allied health sciences to acquire practical skills, conduct ethical research and translate scientific discoveries into quality healthcare.

Osinbajo said, “Here, students of medicine and allied health sciences will learn not only how to treat disease, but how to ask the right questions and how to conduct ethical research and how to translate scientific discovery into compassionate care.

“This hospital strengthens the bridge between theory and practice, education and service, research and real-world impact.

In doing so, it positions Osun State and Nigeria more broadly as a serious contributor to medical knowledge production and not merely a consumer of medicine and medical services. In the wider West African context, this hospital represents promise and potential.”

Osinbajo commended the Alakija family for investing in health education and research, describing the gesture as a legacy measured in lives saved and futures transformed.

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, also lauded the donation, saying he was impressed by the size of the facility and the quality of medical and diagnostic equipment installed.

“I was marvelled at what I saw here in terms of the magnitude of the facility and the top-notch medical and diagnostic equipment items being installed.

“This is great beyond description; huge beyond valuation.
I must state boldly that Governments across the globe have been finding it extremely difficult to fund both education and health care effectively,” Adeleke said.

Providing details of the hospital, the Vice-Chancellor of UNIOSUN, Prof. Clement Adeboye, said the facility has 250 admission beds, 20 clinical departments and five non-clinical departments.

He said the hospital also houses community health units, maternity and neonatal care services, digital research and diagnostic laboratories, four modern operating theatres and advanced diagnostic imaging facilities, including CT scan, MRI, ultrasound and X-ray.

Adeboye added that the hospital is equipped with cardiac and ophthalmology theatres, digitised delivery rooms, neonatal intensive care units, dialysis centres, intensive care units, a modern mortuary and other specialised facilities.

Politics‘Bandits Threatening Us’, Reps Member Asks Tinubu To Review Withdrawal Of Police by renderme(op): 11:49pm On Nov 26, 2025
Tinubu had on Sunday ordered the withdrawal of police officers at a security meeting in Abuja.

A former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Idris Wase, on Wednesday said bandits were threatening to abduct members of the National Assembly.

Idris stated this during the resumption of debate on national security in the lower chamber, calling on President Bola Tinubu to review his directive on the withdrawal of police operatives attached to Very Important Personalities (VIPs).

Tinubu had on Sunday ordered the withdrawal of police officers at a security meeting in Abuja, attended by Service Chiefs and the Director-General of the Department of State Services.

The President directed the police authorities to deploy them to concentrate on their core police duties, a situation that mandated the Special Protection Unit of the Nigeria Police Force to order all officers attached to VIPs and beats nationwide to return to their bases.

Under the new arrangement, Tinubu said VIPs requiring security protection will now need to request armed personnel from the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), rather than relying on police officers.

The Presidency explained that the move aims to boost police presence in communities, especially in remote areas where police stations are often understaffed, and citizens remain vulnerable to attacks.

But Wase wants the Commander-in-Chief to spell out the categorization of VIPs, saying there was a time when Boko Haram terrorists were found on the list of recruits in the Army and Police Force.

Manfromlasvegas:
Seriously the educational system for Nigeria na poto poto. What the hell are you guys arguing? To make any bold claim across seasons, you need the overall total votes cast for the final week of each season. Otherwise you would be making unfounded guesses. It is not by percentage or number of persons in the lineup. You need the total overall votes for each season to make any claim. 42% of the total votes cast in 2025 might not even get you 20% of the total vote cast in 2020, and vice versa.
The comparison can never be on total votes cast. That's incomparable from year to year.
The basis for any 'winning' comparison is on percentage of votes.
Nobody cares about total votes. Its irrelevant to the point. Whats important is out of those voting, who did they give most of their votes to?
Nobody cares about total number of voters in 1973, 2011, 2015 or 2023 elections. We compare percentages of what each contestant won.
