If by the 1st of january ,victims here still don't have their goods ,I will advise anyone who is genuinely interested to get his goods or money back to find any possible means of doing so without coming here or inviting anybody.take whatever means necessary to recover ur investment.I see this issue dragging till march. Lagtech now knows that ppl here are scared of him getting banned and the thread getting locked and he will use that fear to maximum advantage

I don't know how else to communicate that no one has lost their items. We have delivered items to hundreds of people-why will we not deliver to less than 20 people.
We have paid for and delivered items worth close to -if not more than 5 million naira-why would we now not deliver items worth 200k that someone paid for.
The moment there seems to be delay in delivery or challenges with services-it seems many just assume it is a scam or fraud.
Part of the items being picked up tomorrow are iphones, laptops, playstations, sneakers, tablets. All these items are intact. We have not stolen anybody's items. Delivery has been delayed-but no one has been scammed.
Some of the people who own these items assumed at one point earlier this month that they had been scammed-and declared such on the thread. Now when they pick up their items tomorrow or Tuesday-will they still have been scammed?
Last week-several people picked up their items including one person picking up a brand new laptop and another person a 100k laptop-they got their items after much delays. At least one of them had declared us to be scammers and fraudsters-in not one-but several posts. Nothing has been heard from that person since he picked up. Not one word.
Is suffering and poverty so widespread-that everyone has now become a scammer or fraudster? Is the world so perfect now-that no business makes any mistakes or encounters problems anymore?

All those with pending items will be contacted. About 8 people picked up last week-another 9 or so will pick up this week. Items with the sea shipper belong to 6 people. No one is running away with your goods. I sincerely apologise for the frustrations you may have felt-but we are not thieves nor scammers.

-We had several pick ups over the week and several people picked up.
-We will be having pick ups tomorrow and possibly Wednesday as well.
-We have gotten items from 2 different shippers and expect a box from one more shipper this week. One shipper is not available till after the New Year -so items from that shipper unfortunately will not be available till likely next week.
It has been a frustrating few months for many of our customers. We appreciate the patience of many. All is now coming to a good conclusion. Our first 2 sea shipments were not as planned-and was very confusing at a point-we will be delivering items to their owners in a few days. Our third shipment through another shipper that left last week of November is going the right way. Items will be landing in about 2 weeks and pick up should be towards the end of January.

The morals of the story is when u give ur goods or container to an arsehole greenhorn shipper like Lagtech did , if he tries to circumvent the duty payment to make quick bucks and he got figured out by d customs he will be compelled to pay min of 5O-1OO% more than he shd pay with accruing demurrage to shipping company at the end if the incurred cost is more than what the agent can bear he either elopes and goes into hiding from the container owner and the container becomes an abandoned goods and possibly forfeited to the customs or impounded as the case maybe! The owners loss!!! It happens when u can't clear ur goods immediately on arrival due to cash constraint and agent offering you shortcuts!

I sincerely hope such fate has not befallen d sea shipment !!! This can only happen when u mortgage what u stand for on the alter of cheap quick fix as latgtech has done using millions of naira worth of goods to experiment and play baba ijebu!!!

at last at last at last. Someone is begining to ask the right questions. I have said it here ,lagtech is the only one that can solve this logjam by been honest and truthful,not by coming here and giving aladin stories. If he is owing his shipper let him say it and if possible his loyal clients will bail him out.if he hasn't bought many items let him tell everyone the ones he has bought and when the owners will receive them.he needs to come clean and stop hiding behind long stories of him shipping 1000 laptops to nigeria. So that each one of u will be able to plan and know what step to take next. It will be nice if this matter doesn't enter january before a solution is gotten,because by the solution will no longer be on a group scale but individual basis.

When a customer who has not gotten his item after weeks or months of waiting-comes to the conclusion that he has been scammed in " Nairaland's Greatest Scam" -its best to look for the money and give it to him. Its one thing to be unimpressed at the service delivery of a business-but to label such a business as a scam outfit is another thing.

We refunded a customer N14,000 2 days ago for a mini laptop . He was tired of hearing next week, this week. Getting the money was not easy-as the item had already been purchased and shipped -an item where our gain was barely 2k. Hopefully when the mini arrives-someone will buy it cash and carry for 20k to 25k.

Refunds are not easy. We have lost over N900,000 in giving refunds. Any money paid to us through GTB -is withdrawn at an ATM in the USA and we pay heavily. The US Bank takes N600. GTB takes N1700 to N4000. depending on the amount. So if you pay us N40,000-we pay atm fees of about N4000. If we refund that money-we bear the loss of the N4000.

But better to take a loss than be called a fraudster.

At least we are sure that these events cannot happen again from next year. Never.

Take it easy ooooo....mmmm....easy oooo.... we are all slighted and offended but remember words are like eggs. by the time lagtech delivers on what you want or ordered from him what will happen to these words? I've got crazy delays too and you know it and many more also do but deciding to level accusations this strong isn't the way to go.

We have about 27 laptops that should have arrived since November-but have been delayed. They will be available for sale between January 5th and 14th in Lagos. You can pay and pick up from the shippers office in Ikeja.

Laptop Repairs
If you have a computer repair shop or you sell laptop parts-we have about 50 laptops we are selling for 5k to 7k each including shipping. All are incomplete and we assume that whoever is buying wants to use the parts from them: screens, keyboards, dvd drives etc. They are mostly dual cores and Pentium Ms. The most complete ones need hard drives and chargers to make whole.

As I said yesterday -anyone whose items are not picked up by the next pick ups (this weekend and before Christmas) -we will refund your money.

We apologise to people who have had to wait and wait for their items. I was expecting to pick up this weekend. I spoke with one of the shippers yesterday -who is also on Nairaland and he told me that even though NAHCO strike is over-they are still waiting to pick up their items. We have 2 boxes with this shipper and 6 boxes with other shippers. These contain all items that we have not delivered to customers.

Our first pick of about 4 boxes should thus be this Saturday. No delay can last forever. The remaining boxes should not exceed the following few days.Whatever items we cannot claim during this period-we will work to make refunds to all those who purchased from our inventory since the laptops can easily be sold-but nothing should stop pick ups this weekend.

I get emails and bbm messages from many people complaining that one day is been shifted to another. This is not our intention and does not favor us . If someone orders from us and does not have his item delivered-how will he come back and order another item. For over 4 weeks now-we have not had any pick up from air cargo and there are items that have been months. This is one reason why from January -we expect to have our own shipping process -and there will be no need to be 'begging' a shipper or asking 'how far bros how far oga' -when we are not shipping for free.

We have delivered over 500 laptops to people on Nairaland or via Nairaland adverts-there is no reason why we will not deliver 20 or 30 laptops. There are people on this thread who have picked up laptops or other items every month since April. There are people who have picked up N800,000 worth of items. There are people who have picked up 15 laptops. There are people who have picked up 5 iphone 5s at a time. There are people who have ordered and picked up over 20 different times. If your business moves forward-then our business moves forward.

Time to talk intellectually

Every day for much of the last few weeks and the next few weeks-I have been working from a technology warehouse-sorting out and working on thousands of laptops and cell phones-from a business that closed down. It takes much of my daily time. We now have several hundred laptops and cellphones that will ship at the end of the month.

lagtech:
I have contacted our shippers and pick ups of all items that have been pending for the last 4 weeks will resume this weekend. The next picks ups will be either this Saturday December 13th Monday December 15th. Saturday December 20th and Saturday December 27th.

We are picking up our first batch of sea shipping items next week. 2nd batch will be the following week.

We expect to re-start selling laptops and phones in full by January when the new laptops arrive and all backlogs cleared.
