29 out of 36 governors and counting but this fraud of a party is still scared of a free, fair, and transparent election
PoliticsRe: Why Is Tinubu And APC Scared? by respect80(op): 1:07pm On Feb 06
AderonkeOlaniyi:
They're scared because they can't win any election if it's free and fair. They can only rig election and employ thuggery. Can't you see what they did to ADC's office in Edo?
It's such a shame that our lawmakers seem complacent with the fact that our electoral process is continuously being plagued by rigging and all manners of electoral fraud despite the availability of modern measures to curb such menaces to the barest minimum
PoliticsWhy Is Tinubu And APC Scared? by respect80(op): 12:56pm On Feb 06
The big question most people are not asking is why is Tinubu and APC scared of compulsory electronic transmission of election results despite having all the governors in the bag?
Looks like they don't fully trust the eye service defections of these governors.
Imagine bringing gu.n to a K.nife battle and still scared grin

forget about who I support. your response suggests you admitted to being one of the APC online miscreants but actually earn more than the regular 30k N-Power stipend we know about and that's the reason why I asked out of curiosity.
Also because I know a couple of APC clowns who aren't earning a dime, perhaps for recommendation.

The law you are making reference to only applies to the office of the president, there is no equivalent explicit two-term limit for the office of Vice President in the Constitution.

HealthRe: First Aid For Snake Bite (johns Hopkins Hospital, USA) by respect80(m):
GanagiBitrus:
Let's even assume our local herbal remedies are effective. Why are they not well documented & made accessible to patients as Oyibo has done?
Instead they are shrouded in secrecy & sometimes spiritualism.
How do you expect people to have faith in such practices?
First, we love Gatekeeping knowledge. You will be shocked If you know the amount of knowledge that have been lost due to individuals gatekeeping it.
The average black person prioritize reward over solution and that's why everything seem to be going wrongly in this part of the globe.
We are not taught to be good or to do good even when no one is watching or without any any potential to be rewarded.
Most herbalist these days prefer to milk a patient even before they see any sign of healing or cure to their ailment ignoring the ancient way of proffering solution before expecting reward.
Secondly because we blacks are quicker to learn the wrong things from the white folks but very slow to learn the good things from them that's why our politicians always travel to the west to enjoy the same dividends of good leadership which they deny their own people.
Imagine a whole state not having an MRI machine in any of their hospitals but have politicians and celebrities riding cars worth more than ten MRI machines.

PoliticsRe: Bodija Explosion Victims Demand ₦30 Billion Disbursement by respect80(m): 9:59am On Jan 13
Ofunaofu:
The Oyo State Government has since responded by informing Nigerians especially the people of Oyo State and the Bodija explosion victims that the N30 billion is intact.

Rather, Nigerians should question the motive of the Tinubu-led Federal Government for promising N50 billion but releasing only N30 billion while withholding N20 billion.
the money is intact so the victims should be chewing grass since 2024, right?
You need a brand new head for sure

reddingtonblack:
if you think the entire Rivers belong to Wike how do you explain that Wike could not give Tinubu 70% vote .. apc had less than 250k and pdp still manage to have over 100k votes go nd verify the results 2023 are there

As it stand right now, River structure as being hijack by APC .. the local govt, the reps dont understand yet but they will in APC their is only one Authority .. if Tinubu is ok with Fubara 2nd term every member of Apc must accept it

Wike biggest mistake is giving the state structure to APC you just lost main control to Tinubu. in Apc you can anti party you either obey Tinubu or they flush you out no be Pdp anything goes
you are right on point!
Wike thinks he's wise. I'm sure he still expects Tinubu to give his effort as much priority as he used to after handing over the state structure to him

AgricultureRe: Securing Nigeria's Farms: A Growing Need For Urgent Action by respect80(m): 4:55pm On Jul 05, 2025
EFFANTI:
Security isn’t a cost—it’s a strategic investment in the food system. Without it, farmers bleed silently, and consumers still end up paying more.
💡 Because, a secured farm is more productive, stable, and profitable:
-Over time, security pays for itself by reducing theft and waste.
-Farmers gain confidence to expand operations, attracting investment.
-Buyers and aggregators prefer to work with reliable, protected sources.
-With better planning and less loss, prices stabilize or even reduce due to consistent supply. Hope this above sheds more light.
respect80 Thanks for adding your thoughts
well, I agree with your point on security paying for itself in the long run but my argument is drawn from a realistic point of view rather than imagination. Realistically, security is actually a cost considering how farmers operate in our society. The average Nigerian farmer barely has a 5 year farming plan and that implies that; in reality the average Nigerian farmer after putting into consideration the cost of providing adequate security for their farms would rather be unwilling or very reluctant to invest in such for the long term profits. To achieve this, a lot of sensitization through relentless extension services as well as major government intervention has to be in place, but we live a country where 2027 elections is being prioritized more than the deplorable state the country's economy and security is in. @EFFANTI discussion on a sensitive topic like this should be in true reflection of the situation in our country and not some AI generated write up that does not reflect our reality. Majority of farmers still don't know or can't afford to use selective herbicide to control weed on their farm but here we are talking about something far more complex that using selective herbicide to control weed

AgricultureRe: Securing Nigeria's Farms: A Growing Need For Urgent Action by respect80(m): 4:04pm On Jul 03, 2025
It is very unfortunate to see the direction the lack of proper attention to the threat of insecurity by our government is leading us. In as much as these recommendations might help curb the challenges of farm insecurity, we must also put into consideration how much this will skyrocket food cost in the long run. I wonder how much a bulb of onion will cost if one is to buy from a farmer who had to spend a fortune just to secure his farm while trying to cope with the labor intensity due to our crude method of farming.

Foreign AffairsRe: Everyone Should immediately evacuate Tehran now - Donald Trump by respect80(m): 3:42pm On Jun 17, 2025
timizeus:
What garbage are you spewing? Which MAGA base? Trump is running as a president for the last time, do you think he gives a damn about any movement? You people thought Israel is a paper tiger but they have shown that all their attacks are coordinated and strategic. What can Iran do now? Fire their missiles again? To what end? Israel will keep pummeling Iran until their objectives are achieved.
Also remind him of Israeli PM's statement in September 2024 at the UN General Assembly in quotes "I have a message for the tyrants of Tehran: If you strike us, we will strike you. There is no place—there is no place in Iran—that the long arm of Israel cannot reach. And that’s true of the entire Middle East." - Benjamin Netanyahu.
Call Bibi what you want but he will be remembered as one of the modern day leader who doesn't make empty threats.
Israel's long arm dey cause Iran plenty chaos laidis. Any ME Country wey put body go collect too. There was a warning, but Iran chose not to hid it.
