Catarrh blocks the nostrils and if your nostrils are blocked, you can't smell.

As soon as you're treated, your sense of smell should return.

A heartbreaking incident happened in my business area Tuesday night, here in Lagos.

An 8 year old girl was ran over by a bus while asleep, on Tuesday night.
Normally after school, she'll come to meet her mom where she sells local cooked herbs (agbo) and after close of business, mother and daughter will go home together. While waiting, if she's sleepy, there's a makeshift sleeping area for her until they're ready to go home. But on Tuesday night, a bus brake failed, climbed the pavement, and crushed the girl to death.

Please let's be more prayerful because, the adversary, the devil is going about looking for who to devour, especially towards the end of the year like this.

May God rest her young and gentle soul, and give comfort to her family. May we never bury or know the grave of our children, in Jesus Name, Amen!

I’m in a bit of a dilemma right now and I genuinely need advice from people with experience. I’ll try to keep this as brief as possible.

I’ve been with this lady for almost a year. It has mostly been good, with some bad moments as well, you know how relationships can be. One issue I’ve noticed for a while now (and yes, you can blame me for tolerating it) is that she lacks a supportive spirit. By support, I don’t mean financial support, though that wouldn’t be a bad thing either, but that’s not what I’m expecting at all.

Let me give an example. She expects me to handle almost everything: making enquiries, figuring things out, taking initiative on all matters. In most situations, she hardly contributes ideas or offers suggestions. On top of that, she struggles with accountability. Whenever there’s an issue, she prefers to dismiss it rather than address it properly.

These issues have caused a lot of arguments in the past. At one point, we even broke up for a while. When we got back together, she promised to work on herself and make changes, and for some time, it seemed like she was trying. But now it’s starting to feel like this is just who she is, and that real change may not be possible.

Things have progressed quite far between us. I've met with her parents and vice versa, and her family has started asking that my family should come over. We had already agreed that this would happen early next year. However, in the past few days, she has started displaying those same behaviours again, and it has given me serious cold feet.

I’m honestly considering calling everything off. I know it would disappoint a lot of people, but at this point, I don’t even seem to care. I’m worried about committing to something I may regret later.

I really need sincere, brotherly or fatherly advice right now. If I were your brother or your son, what would you advise me to do?

P.S. Please, if you don’t have anything meaningful to contribute and only intend to insult or mock, kindly don’t comment. That’s the last thing I need at this moment.

Have you tried thinking aback and you're sure that she hasn't offered at least one support or suggestion and how did you react to it?


I also know women that stop offering suggestions to their guys because the guy always wave it off and will prefer taking advice from a stranger rather than his woman.


I need you to sit her down and talk to her again and let her know her mistake, I'm sure she will try to fix it again.

Every human has their flaws, you can choose to overlook it and live with it forever or walk away.

Not everybody is gonna relate with this post and that’s fine but this post highlights my 2025 failure.
It’s really funny how I started the year on a positive foot, riding on the Sucess of 2024 crypto bull where i made 20 million plus toward the end of the year, by the end of February 2025, I had made additional 30 million naira plus . Little did I know it was time wrap it up or slow down. I did slow though because I remember not trading much in the month of march, but somehow, someway, with social media pressure of keep chasing the bag, I went back to trading around April and it was a downward spiral from there. Minus $1k here, -$500 and so on . Around May, I took my biggest loss of the year losing 10 million naira in one single day. I think that sealed my fate as regards financial level; after making the obvious move of chasing my loss… I was down and sub 30 million naira networth.
I didn’t stop, reading stories online, I saw there were people who lost their networth and somehow made it back… so I kept trying and trying and failing and failing. Guess what it’s the end of the year and I have found I couldn’t make it back… I couldn’t go past 30 million again. People yap about how a man can fall 7 times and rise back 7 times but in reality it’s very hard. In the last two months, I have been trying some physical hustles and I can tell you for free that’ it’s hard to come about and hold 10 million naira together.
I wasted the year 2025 and I am scared if God/universe is gonna give me another opportunity to come up again.

I can relate to this.
Trading is not for the weak.

Trading is cool when you're profiting and not so cool when you're losing funds.
