@Pataki What makes you think that you are any more developed or different from any of the other animals on this planet? Quite an arrogant statement! Animals are a pretty loyal bunch and do not go around killing each other for the sake of it. They do not destroy the habitat in which they live or pollute the planet! They have no hatred towards other species and live together in harmony in most cases. Animals do not try to brainwash each other with idiotic doctrines or believe in an invisible animal God that lives above the clouds. Maybe it would be a good thing that certain Humans would degrade themselves as you put it to the 'level of animals' This World would be a much kinder place ![]() |
@Sista At least you can see the reality of the situation. In a positive way, each day more and more people are using common sense in place of mumbo jumbo to manage their lives. It is so funny that people follow a supposed God that hates everything we do and thinks we are all sinners and has a place where he will send us to burn for eternity, BUT HE LOVES US ALL ha ha ha ha ha ha. Pull the other leg it has bells on it ![]() I would not say that White man invented religion to control the black man. Religion was invented to control us all ![]() How we think, what we think, how we feel and when we should have sex and with who ![]() It is a sad human trait that people need to follow idiotic doctrine like lambs to the slaughter ![]() So, let change the subject. Did you see the film 'Blue Lagoon'? I imagine our desert island adventure to be something like that ![]() I will start by building us a little house on the beach out of bamboo and banana leaves ![]() Just need to find my machete ![]() |
@ Sista Call it a religious Sexpert Thank you for the compliment ![]() |
Nothing wrong with pre-marital sex at all, only in the mind of twisted people. Sex is an absolutely natural and healthy activity that has nothing to do with owning a piece of paper saying you are married. Time that people stopped using scripture quotes for the sole purpose of making normal human beings feel bad about themselves and perfectly natural urges and feelings. That is aimless and lame. @Pataki Why you are so trying so hard to back Trini_girl into a corner. Do you obtain some kind of perverted pleasure from it? Take the following as an answer on the behalf of Trini_Girl which will appeal to your bigoted religious brain cells: Paul explains the significance of sexual immorality by writing, "Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, 'The two will become one flesh.'" (1 Corinthians 6:15). In quoting Genesis 2:24, many believe Paul is referring to sexual intercourse with a prostitute as marriage. If this view of Paul's teaching is correct, premarital sex is philosophically impossible because sexual intercourse is one form of marriage therefore the technical phrasing is simply "marital sex". mrpataki:I suppose you have never done any of those things I bet you even put a rubber glove on your hand when you take a leak and probably wash your cock in holy water afterwards. (if you can find it that is) Gbade will help you I'm sure ![]() Most of the members of this forum have tried some if not most of these things before marriage. If you are one who has not, does that make your normal or abnormal? Find a scripture quickly to cover your ass The Ten Pataki Anti Sex Commandments Thou shalt not smooch Thou shalt not neck Thou shalt not peck Thou shalt not caress Thou shalt not kiss Thou shalt not touch Thou shalt not stimulating ones sex organs Thou shalt not rub your genitals Thou shalt not be a normal human being Thou shalt not feel good about yourself ![]() |
What I love most about this thread is the lengths you all go to prove that one book of fairy tales and fables is better than the other book of fairy tales and fables ![]() Both books have been written, re-written and butchered over the centuries to serve the purpose of power hungry men ![]() There is no competition and no winners. It is a draw. They are both filled with utter nonsense and mindless ramblings ![]() I would recommend that they be replaced by: Koran - Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban by J.K Rowlings Bible - Bram Stokers Dracula (Hard backed edition) |
"If God is all-powerful and all-good, it would have created a universe with no suffering and no evil. But, evil and suffering exist. Therefore God does not exist, is not all-powerful or is not benevolent. Attempts to justify the existence of evil are called theodicies. There are no fully working theodicies, even popular ones such as the free will theodicy were rejected thousands of years ago for reasons that still stand today. It seems that if there is a god, it is not the all-good moral being that classical religions would have us believe" "I argue that God is a result of Human desire, Human needs and Human projection and that these explain even the personal experience of God more rationally than the conclusion that God really exists. Firstly, I highlight how we know some people have false experiences. Secondly, I list some particular characters traits and causes of God experiences. I conclude that it is not necessary for a God to exist in order to explain why people believe in one." |

Interesting and common sense Humanistic facts 1. Humanism is one of those philosophies for people who think for themselves. There is no area of thought that a Humanist is afraid to challenge and explore. 2. Humanism is a philosophy focused upon human means for comprehending reality. Humanists make no claims to possess or have access to supposed transcendent knowledge. 3. Humanism is a philosophy of reason and science in the pursuit of knowledge. Therefore, when it comes to the question of the most valid means for acquiring knowledge of the world, Humanists reject arbitrary faith, authority, revelation, and altered states of consciousness. 4. Humanism is a philosophy of imagination. Humanists recognize that intuitive feelings, hunches, speculation, flashes of inspiration, emotion, altered states of consciousness, and even religious experience, while not valid means to acquire knowledge, remain useful sources of ideas that can lead us to new ways of looking at the world. These ideas, after they have been assessed rationally for their usefulness, can then be put to work, often as alternate approaches for solving problems. 5. Humanism is a philosophy for the here and now. Humanists regard human values as making sense only in the context of human life rather than in the promise of a supposed life after death. 6. Humanism is a philosophy of compassion. Humanist ethics is solely concerned with meeting human needs and answering human problems--for both the individual and society--and devotes no attention to the satisfaction of the desires of supposed theological entities. 7. Humanism is a realistic philosophy. Humanists recognize the existence of moral dilemmas and the need for careful consideration of immediate and future consequences in moral decision making. 8. Humanism is in tune with the science of today. Humanists therefore recognize that we live in a natural universe of great size and age, that we evolved on this planet over a long period of time, that there is no compelling evidence for a separable "soul," and that human beings have certain built-in needs that effectively form the basis for any human-oriented value system. 9. Humanism is in tune with today's enlightened social thought. Humanists are committed to civil liberties, human rights, church-state separation, the extension of participatory democracy not only in government but in the workplace and education, an expansion of global consciousness and exchange of products and ideas internationally, and an open-ended approach to solving social problems, an approach that allows for the testing of new alternatives. 10. Humanism is in tune with new technological developments. Humanists are willing to take part in emerging scientific and technological discoveries in order to exercise their moral influence on these revolutions as they come about, especially in the interest of protecting the environment. 11. Humanism is, in sum, a philosophy for those in love with life. Humanists take responsibility for their own lives and relish the adventure of being part of new discoveries, seeking new knowledge, exploring new options. Instead of finding solace in prefabricated answers to the great questions of life, Humanists enjoy the open-endedness of a quest and the freedom of discovery that this entails. |

The Humanist approach seems to be the most sensible. Humanism Humanists believe that, in the overwhelming majority of cases, sexual intercourse does no harm in this world. Secular humanism therefore considers most sex acts as morally irrelevant and up to the individual. The Christian case is definitely not as clear. Fornication could be acceptable even ![]() Paul explains the significance of sexual immorality by writing, "Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, 'The two will become one flesh.'" (1 Corinthians 6:15). In quoting Genesis 2:24, many believe Paul is referring to sexual intercourse with a prostitute as marriage. If this view of Paul's teaching is correct, premarital sex is philosophically impossible because sexual intercourse is one form of marriage therefore the technical phrasing is simply "marital sex". @Trini_Girl I am booking my flights as I type this. I am coming to show you a little humanism and smoke some pot ![]() |
Sounds very suspicious, but virginity has no relation whatsoever to whether the hymen is intact or not. The hymen can be broken by many other activities anyway like insertion of tampons, horse riding etc. Loss of virginity is by vaginal penetration by a mans penis and nothing else. Not a Love Machine, vibrator, fingers or any other objects. YOU CAN NOT LOSE YOUR VIRGINITY WITHOUT HAVING PENETRATIVE SEX ![]() DEFINITIONS Virgin: Main Entry: 1vir·gin Pronunciation: 'v&r-j&n Function: noun : a person who has not had sexual intercourse - vir·gin·al /'v&r-j&n-&l,'v&rj-n&l/ adjective - vir·gin·al·ly /-E/ adverb Sexual Intercourse: Main Entry: sexual intercourse Function: noun : sexual union especially involving penetration of the vagina by the penis |

@ Sista That is only sexy devil costume picture I could find on Google ![]() Let's make our little heaven here on Earth and run away together to a deserted island. I promise to make you a grass skirt and coconut bra ![]() Love you too @Trini_Girl I am already saved by not believing in all that nonsense. If you believe the stories then I respect that, but Just because something does not follow the Christian doctrines does not make it a cult ![]() I am a 100% humanist. I don't believe in invisible men living above the clouds, heaven, hell, angels or miracless and suchlike. Just that we have to make the most of our time here on Earth as that is all we have. It is a great shame that people throw away their lives for the promise of something better to come. The reality is here now. We know this World exists. Now is our time to live and enjoy ourselves as only the cold earth and worms remain after death. Peace |

@Baricade There are several forms of Humanism and the concept is extremely flexible: Religious humanism Religious humanism is the branch of humanism that considers itself religious (based on a functional definition of religion), or embraces some form of theism, deism, or supernaturalism, without necessarily being allied with organized religion, as such. If they do, religious humanists often associate themselves with Unitarian Universalism. It is often associated with artists, liberal Christians, and scholars in the liberal arts. Other types of people that may be considered religious humanists are those who, despite believing in a religion, don't consider it necessary to derive all their moral values from it. Some feel that, because their religious beliefs are moral, and therefore humane, they are humanists. In particular, it is not uncommon for religious humanitarians to be referred to as humanists, although the accuracy of this usage is disputed. A number of religious humanists feel that secular humanism is too coldly logical and rejects the full emotional experience that makes humans human. From this comes the notion that secular humanism is inadequate in meeting the human need for a socially fulfilling philosophy of life. Disagreements over things of this nature have resulted in friction between secular and religious humanists, despite their similarities. The point you have mentioned about spirituallity maybe valid, but concerning meaning in life it could not be further from the truth. Meaning in Life is covered by the word Optimism Humanism features an optimistic attitude about the capacity of people, but it does not involve believing that human nature is purely good or that each and every person is capable of living up to the humanist ideals of rationality and morality. If anything, there is the recognition that living up to one's potential is hard work and requires the help of others. The ultimate goal is human flourishing; making life better for all humans. Even among humanists who do believe in some sort of an afterlife, the focus is on doing good and living well in the here and now, and leaving the world better for those who come after, not on suffering through life to be rewarded afterward. |
@Sista Do you believe in heaven and hell? Once upon a time, there was the world, and it was good. Then people got all pissed off about everything, and there was violence and sin, and that was bad. Then people decided they needed a device to stop people from doing so much violence and sin, and there was Hell, and it was good. Hell is the ultimate deterrent — an eternity of pain and suffering. You can't come up with a much more brutal retribution than that. The only catch is that the deterrent only works when people a) believe in it, and b) fear it so much that they lay off the violence and sin. There are a number of problems selling Hell to the public at large. For one thing, eternity is a difficult concept to get your head around. For another, everyone has a different idea about how the cosmos works morally. For Hell to succeed, it has to be horrific beyond belief, and ideally it needs to be drilled into the heads of children at a very early age, so that the fear will stick even after the intellect has grown past the concept. If you really had to choose between floating all day on a cloud dressed in white listening to harp music or dressing in a sexy little red number with a glass of wine, a rock band and a few orgies a day which would you choose? I know where I would rather be. But then again the question is hypothetical as both heaven and hell are man made products of our imaginations.

Just as the God's of the Egyptian dynasties were replaced with Christianity and Islam, it goes without saying that the religions and God's of today will also be replaced in the coming years. The many different God's of the Greeks and the Egyptians lasted thousands of years. Christianity and Islam is still young by comparison, but just as the Greek and Egyptian God's came and went, the same is sure to happen with the current God or God's. The question is not if religion will be replaced but when and by what. We are already seeing a huge decline in church attendance as Churches fail to adapt to the World in which we live. One of the most sensible possible replacements for today's aging religions has to Humanism. Humanism is defined in the encyclopedia as: A broad category of active ethical philosophies that affirm the dignity and worth of all people, based on the ability to determine right and wrong by appealing to universal human qualities—particularly rationalism. A society in which the human being, with his needs and aspirations, is the central value. A society in which human rights are completely realized: the right to health, instruction, freedom, spirituality, search for the meaning of life, and an existence with dignity. Humanism is a progressive philosophy of life that, without supernaturalism, affirms our ability and responsibility to lead ethical lives of personal fulfillment that aspire to the greater good of humanity. Are you a humanist? Do you try to live an ethical and fulfilling life without religious belief? Do you think science and reason lead to more reliable knowledge than faith? Do you support secular government and an open society that guarantees human rights for all? If you answered "yes" to these questions, you might be one of the millions of humanists on Earth -- people who live meaningful, fulfilling lives based on reason and compassion. Humanism is a philosophy of life inspired by humanity and guided by reason. It provides the basis for a fulfilling and ethical life without religion. Humanists make sense of the world using reason, experience and shared human values. Humanists see no convincing evidence for gods, the supernatural, or life after death. Humanists believe that moral values are properly founded on human empathy and scientific understanding. Humanists believe we must live this life on the basis that it is the only life we'll have -- that, therefore, we must make the most of it for ourselves, each other, and our world. Humanist philosophies have arisen separately in many different cultures over many thousands of years. Whether or not they use the term humanism, tens of millions of Americans and hundreds of millions of people around the world agree with the humanist philosophy of living a happy and productive life based on reason and compassion. Humanism has to be the way forward to end the manipulation that is religion, segregation of human kind and stem the tide of sectarian violence that is so active in today's World. Are you a Humanist? |

The bigotry surrounding this whole question Just goes to show how far we still have to go to shake off this archaic sexist nonsense. The death of religion will be it's inability to adapt to the changing times and the modern World in which we live in. To state that women should not preach or teach is utter ignorance. Women have proven time and time again that they are as capable if not better than men at most things (notwistanding physical activities). That man written scriptures of dubious origin from hundreds of years ago should have any influence on our thoughts just go to show how fallible and misguided religion is. During a recent test at Microsoft they came to the following conclusions: Women tend to be better than men at empowering staff. Women encourage openness and are more accessible. Women leaders respond more quickly to calls for assistance. Women are more tolerant of differences, so they're more skilled at managing diversity. Women identify problems more quickly and more accurately. Women are better at defining job expectations and providing feedback. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed. Results like these do not belong on the résumé of a Supreme Being. This is the kind of shit you'd expect from an office temp with a bad attitude. I firmly believe, looking at these results, that if there is a God, it has to be a man. No woman could or would ever mess things up like this. So, if there is a God, I think most reasonable people might agree that he's at least incompetent, and maybe, just maybe, doesn't give a shit. But he ain't a woman that's for sure ![]() |
