@Gamine

I can see from his posts that he is frustrated, maybe sexually as well undecided

People can be pained by many different topics, politics, sport and religion. That does not mean that they have to trawl the forum attacking people making posts with little or no meaning or value sad sad

It pains me that in this day and age so many Africans have a totally backward mentality when it comes to sex and relationships. cry cry cry

RomanceRe: She Ended It, The Strangest Thing Is: She Kept Crying And Never Wanted To Leave by Reverend(m): 9:49am On Jan 31, 2008
Just because someones ends a relationship, it does not mean that it does not sadden them or that they have no feelings for the other party.

It can be a bit of a bummer, but it takes two to tango embarassed

You or she may want it, but without you both being committed, the relationship is dead embarassed embarassed
Christianity EtcRe: Sex Is Worship by Reverend(m): 9:30am On Jan 31, 2008
Our sexuality is a natural gift from God. It should not be artificially restricted by regulation. God honors a free sexual expression that seeks the enjoyment and good of the each person, and the glory to God as He participates with us in this glorious aspect of living and loving others, ourselves and God. In our scriptural understanding, a New Testament biblical argument cannot be made against most cases of consensual sexual pleasure sharing, whether premarital, marital, or postmarital.

Negative cases can be made only if the parties involved are not functioning within Christian love guidelines, but are rather using one another for their own selfish gratification or are doing harm, physical or psychological, to their sexual partners or to other parties who are involved.

Millions of Christians are now enjoying more open relationships, more living in Christ's love. But many have struggled with exactly the same issues. Centuries of indoctrination by traditional Christian teachings are hard to overcome. But the sex negative traditions clearly have no biblical basis.

Sex is a gift from God for us all to enjoy wink wink wink wink
Christianity EtcRe: Sex Is Worship by Reverend(m): 9:40am On Jan 30, 2008
Our view that sex is dirty, possibly even evil, has led many Christians into immorality rather than into righteousness, despite good (though ill-founded) intentions. So, reacting to all the perversity that surrounds us by deemphasizing sex and emphasizing spiritual things is a strategy that has failed. And rightly so. We were never meant to live as if our bodies were dirty and evil. Rather, our bodies are "members of Christ himself" (6:15, NIV).

Do you really have to go for a medical to get a job at a bank in Nigeria?
TravelRe: Uk Visa - Visa Appeal Process by Reverend(m): 2:36pm On Jan 14, 2008
Don't take it for granted that you will enter the UK. They have really tightened the entry proceedure over the past few months and are making acceptance harder each day.

You have to follow the rules. If you are found lying on any of the application questions you will be banned for life.

Don't try for the shortcuts, it is better to play by the rules!

Foreign AffairsRe: The Rape Of Iraqi Women By Us Soldiers by Reverend(m): 5:49pm On Dec 28, 2007
4 Play:
We are interested only in Iraqi women. . . .some of us are closeted Arab-wannabes totally uninterested in the plight of Nigerian women except if they are raped by Americans.

I guess if a female relative of Richy Guff is raped,he will first ask whether the rapist was American before deciding whether to be outraged.
OK, then Arab rape it is cheesy

I am sorry, I forgot that only muslim women can be raped and only of course only by members of the US forces. How silly of me lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

Amnesty International

Nigeria: Rape - the silent weapon

Index Number: AFR 44/020/2006
Categories: Nigeria, Africa, West Africa

Rape of women and girls by both the police and security forces, and within their homes and community, is endemic in Nigeria. It persists because the state has failed to tackle discrimination against women or address the entrenched culture of impunity for human rights violations committed by the police and security forces. Amnesty International is calling on the Federal and State authorities in Nigeria to urgently address the legal and social systems that tolerate rape and sexual violence on a wide scale. The organization is recommending actions to give meaningful effect to the international treaties Nigeria has ratified.

PoliticsRe: Benazir Bhutto Former Pakistani Prime Minister Is Dead by Reverend(m): 12:42pm On Dec 28, 2007
Benazir Bhutto, like her husband was a corrupt, power hungry criminal out to exploit the election and the Pakistani people for her own gain.

Pakistan is nothing more than a safe haven for Islamic terrorists and did not even exist as a country until recently.

No need to cry for her or the Paki's. Like every other Islamic state, there is no future or hope, just a long downward spiral of violence and the inevitable slide back to the stoneage.

Islamic State = Doom

I think you are all missing the point  huh huh

The fact is that anywhere has to be better than Nigeria to live in. Even a cesspit  lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

People blame corruption for their woes. The truth of the matter is that a country is only what it's people make it. The Nigerians that live in other nations are not there because they have been displaced, they are there because they prefer it to Nigeria.

You have to admit, if you look at the filth, squalor and crime in a place like Lagos, anywhere is better  lipsrsealed lipsrsealed
Christianity EtcRe: Mistreating 'Possessed' Children In God's Name by Reverend(m): 9:19pm On Dec 15, 2007
Not such a thing as demons in children, only demons in the people calling themselves men of god who abuse children in the name of religion.

Poor, uneducated, filthy peasants believe in such things. They deserve what they get if they are drawn into the games of the evil called religion and the pedo priests that lead them lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

Christianity EtcRe: Paying Tithes Or Giving To The Needy? by Reverend(m): 4:24pm On Dec 14, 2007
A tithe (from Old English teogoþa "tenth"wink is a one-tenth part of something, paid as a (usually) voluntary contribution or as a tax or levy, usually to support a Jewish or Christian religious organization.

To support a religious organisation and as you see not neccesarily to help the poor at all undecided undecided

Tax or Levy is the key word here undecided undecided

The merchants in the story were supposedly paying tax and levies for the use of the church to the priests undecided undecided
