Buhari will win next year and unless Osinbajo is not interested in contesting the presidency after him, which I doubt the likes of Junaid are just wasting their time.

Stop deluding yourself.

Buhari is going back to Duara and Osinbanjo will go back to his alpha beta racket job in Lagos.

This slowpoke contradicted himself by saying every Nigerian has the right to contest the presidency and then went on to berate the vice president and Fashola. A beg Oga junaid, are Yorubas no longer Nigerians.

And where in the constitution was the rotation he talked about enshrined?
What nerve!

Stop this delusion of a Yoruba taking over Buhari.

Buhari is going next year.

Only way an afonja will become president is when Odua republic is declared.

This gay Junaid missed his calling in life. He studied medicine but abandoned it for politics. In politics he was useless to the Northern cause and they pushed him aside. He has been trying ever since to show himself a good Northern boy by attacking different causes in South. If his fellow Northerner dont see him as a serious person why do Southerners willfully make him relevant at all?

Tinubu or any other afonja for that matter will never be president of Nigeria.

Funnily enough, that 'Buhari was not aware' ruse that worked so well for them in the past as a get-out-of-jail card, is still being used by them today! shocked

As the inaugural minister of petroleum he oversaw the looting of our national wealth whereby the NNPC could not account for a whooping $4bn which in today's money and adjusting for inflation will be equivalent to $20bn.

He refused to appear before a congressional hearing to account for the day to day management of the bloc and ministry. He will later claim to be ignorant of the theft under his ministerial supervision.

As chairman of PTF he supervised corruption and when asked to account for his management of public funds, he will refuse to honor the presidential committee. He will later claim ignorance as his defense.

The man is highly irresponsible liar

We are basing our deduction on your own very claim.
According to you, Foreign reserves began to plummet on Dec. 1 1983.
We however know that Buhari took over on Dec. 31 1983. It then means the plummetting started 30 days before Buhari came to power thus it started under Shagari. This is simple syllogism.

The entries are monthly values and not daily.

A significant withdrawal on 31st December will affect the entire figure for the month of December.

Buhari is a thief and I don't know why you are defending that thief.

Unfortunately those your 'available' records contradict the reality that Buhari took over Dec. 31 which was 30 days after the Dec 1. you claim foreign reserves started plummetting.

Buhari emptied the treasury on Dec 31st so entries for December appear as if it was Shagari that emptied the treasury..

I will source for daily entries of forex for 1983 and you will see for yourself that the treasury was looted on Dec 31st.

Buhari is a thief

Buhari took power Dec. 31 1983, so if foreign reserves started dippeing on Dec. 1 1983, then it means it started under Shagari who was still in power as at Dec. 1 1983 to Dec. 31 same year.
Also recall that Operation Ghana-must-go which was the government's response to Nigeria's rapidly falling economy was launched by the Shagari-Ekweme government....an evidence that the recession of the 80s actually started under Shagari due to the monumental looting and misrule that formed the hallmarks of the NPN government.
[/s]

The available records were presented on a cumulative monthly basis.

Immediately after seizing power, Buhari looted the treasury.

Nigerian universities are nothing but memorization factories. I believe the most delusional beings in Nigeria are not the illiterates but these first grade fools who think themselves wise but are by far the most dumbest set of humans to walk the planet.

They want their allowances paid and nor social media praises.

They want to see adequate compensation to the family of their deceases colleagues who died fighting BH and not some useless social media praise.

If na Christian he be nw, dem forget am for mortuary for months dey plan one yeye burial.

And how does the way Christians or non Muslims bury their dead any concern to you?

Burying the dead immediately after death was wildly practiced by Muslims and non Muslims alike until the science of embalment and refrigerating the corpse became possible.

Besides I know why Mohammed was hastily buried on the orders of Abu Bakr. This was done supposedly so as to hide the fact that your prophet was poisoned as he was said to have bled from his mouth and nose. And do you by any chance know who poisoned your prophet? It wasn't that captured Jewish girl but rather Aisha. Mohammed had decided to divorce Aisha over infidelity accusations that she slept with a young buck. This divorce would surely have led to Mohammed's longest ally Abu Bakr who was the father of Aisha, parting ways.

It is widely believed that Aisha poisoned Mohammed to prevent her getting divorced and probably executed for adultery which would have also led to Abu Bakr breaking ties with him. A few days before his death, Mohammed had appointed his adopted son and cousin, Ali as his heir which would have seen Ali emerge as Khalifa instead of Abu Bakr.

You must also know that wearing of the Niqab was introduced by Mohammed who after abducting young girls and women kept them locked in his harem and the Niqab was forced on them to prevent them being identified by relatives hoping to reunite with them.

Or don't you know how easy it is to sleep with another man's wife in Saudi Arabia? All she has to do is wear her black Niqab covered from head to toe and nobody will be able to identify her as nor your wife.

Yeye

So, if u're talking about the Alpha Jet, sorry...the A-Jet isnt meant for 'super sonic' dog fights bro. It's role in the NAF is for light attack (providing air to ground support) and as an advanced jet trainer.

You can thank me later. Bye
[/s]

The Alpha Jet was designed to counter the Russian Mig.

It has limited ground support abilities due to its limited pay load. Other than that, the Alpha Jet was designed for 3rd world allies and has more capabilities as an air to air fighter to form a first line of defense .

So if you still insist on the superiority of the Alpha Jet have you asked why the Nigerian Army wants to replace it as an air to ground attack jet with the propeller driven Embrar Super Tucson?

Even if we should exonerate Buhari from being actively involved in executing the coup we should hold him accountable for not honoring the oath of loyalty to Shagari his CnC.

Officers have been executed for less talk more of Buhari who benefited from the coup the most. The case of an officer who was executed alongside Gideon Okah for knowing that a coup was in the making but refused to inform his superiors is a classic example. This same officer was detained by Buhari after he reported the coup plot against Shagari. During IBB, he was aware of a coup plot but because he suffered arrest when he informed on Buhari's coup plot, he chose to remain silent. He was executed alongside the coupists not as an active conspirator but for failing to inform his superior officers.

Now if that Yoruba officer can be executed for not informing on a coup he knew was on the way but to which he had no part in, then what do you expect the fate of Buhari to be?

Buhari was wrong to overthrow the Shagari government.

Having said that, Shagari 's government was not good for our economy or country. Rampant corruption, poor economic policies, violent politics, and the Maitastine insurgency were all there.

In fact the economic issues Buhari faced in 1984 was due to Shagari 's mishandling of the economy. Failure to save for the rainy day until oil prices crashed in 1982, now that was a mistake.

But Buhari should not have plotted a coup. Better for him to resign from the army then, go into politics and win elected office. Same thing for Nzeogwu and company. Because of the decisions they made we lost our chances at developing a mature political system and in essence had to start from scratch in 1999.

So, yes, Buhari should not have overthrown Shagari govt. But Shagari's time in power was not Shangri-la either. The Second Republic political class ran our economy aground and fostered tribal and ethnic politics.Still...the beauty of democracy is that anyone can by hard work change things peacefully. Not by violent means
[/s]

Between Dec 1st 1983 to Jan 31st 1984, Nigeria's foreign reserves dipped significantly.

Buhari looted Nigeria dry in one month.

The recession was heralded by Buhari looting our treasury the very next day.

Considering locations of recent atacks, one may notice the terrorists are attacking from neighbouring Niger and Chad. See where Baga is located.

If the neighbouring countries are putting in their best it will have been much easier but they lack the capacity to do so.

Instead of blaming Chad and Niger Republic why not get your northern cousins to stop joining BH.
