If french, are there places where english are sorta common? I wish to visit the country and Ivory coast just to see what the country look like buh i don't understand even my name in french. Just English... And by the way, all the foods listed here are snacks. Street foods in Ghana includes Banku, Indomie, wakye, Beans and Garri, plain rice and the likes.

Yea actually Cameroon is a bilingual it speaks two languages English and French. 10 regions are French and only two are English.but you will find it easier living in the anglophone zones since you speak English and pidgin is also spoken here

Nice one OP. Some of those dishes are also common snacks in Nigeria.

What I don't get is how some of these snacks that are well laid out on trays and plates with sauce placed besides them are termed street food?

Because they are sold mostly on the streets by a group of people we call "buyam sellam".

The next one is fish pie.This is actually very common.

The next one is grilled meat on sticks but in Cameroon it is called suya.I love it!

The next one is roasted plantains and plum.This one is also nice and it is very common in Cameroon.

The next street food is skewered snails.This one is very tasty especially when pepper is added.

The next is gateau.I love this one.It is made with flour,sugar,milk,and a few other stuff.

The next one that I also like is chin chin.This one can be eating anywhere actually but I termed it a street kind of pastry because it is mostly sold in the streets but it can also be made at home.

The next one is rolled eggs but in Cameroon it is usually called scotch eggs

The next one which I like so much is coconut sweet.It is very sweet.

The next one is puff puff and beans.In Cameroon, it's slang name is achombo.A lot of youngsters love it

The next one is roasted corn and plum.Even if na weti I no fit miss di one.I like it a lot.

The next one is Accra banana.This one is different from Accra beans cause it is made with banana.Mostly with the bananas that are very ripe.

Hello everyone! I made a thread on Cameroon dishes but those ones are the mostly eaten at home.The ones that I am about list now are eaten in the streets.So let's get started!

The next dish is pepper soup.It is always cooked with either boiled fish inside or goat meat.

The next is fried spaghetti and eggs.Very simple for breakfast and can also be eaten at night as light food.If you don't want to eat heavy food at night

I didn't even know that there is any dish in Nigeria like okpa so I don't see what the problem is.In Cameroon it is called koki corn and I don't even like it dat much so don't kill me
