Nairaland / General / Re: Cameroon Slangs by Rexia(f): 2:22pm On Feb 24, 2018 |
OceanmorganTrix:Why are u saying it like pidgin English originated from Nigeria? It didn't. The truth is Nigerians speak what is called broken English while the one Cameroonians speak is more like a krio maybe that's why it's sounds like a different language. Cameroon pidgin is made up of a mixture of different languages. A lot of Cameroonians will be able to understand Nigerian pidgin but most Nigerians will not be able to understand Cameroon pidgin.Cameroonians formed their own pidgin while that of Nigerians was taught by the British. |

Is warri pidgin the original Nigerian pidgin?Cause it seems other Nigerians seem to like it.Some also say it is difficult to understand especially with the slangs added into it. |
