In fact, i've learnt my lessons from Jumia, truly Jumia is worse than Sambo Dasuki.

Hello fellow nairalanders, jumia has really pushed me to the wall this time around. I placed an order for a home theater on jumia black Friday and am beginning to believe that jumia scammed me because they've been telling me lies.

My order was placed on 27th of November (black friday for 3 items) and i paid online with my card (my mistake, should've selected pay on delivery), i also placed a second order a day after my first order where i selected pay on delivery and the next monday they're calling me to come and pay and pick my item. After 8 days when i didn't hear about my order i sent them a mail around 9PM at night stating my dissatisfaction and miraculously i got a mail around 3AM in the middle of the night stating that my order just shipped (i was surprised that jumia will ship an item in the middle of the night). I sent a mail to them again in the morning stating that is it my mail that pushed them to mark my item as shipped and as usual no response.

3 Days gone bye, the item is still showing that it's in their sorting hub. I called their customer care and they promised to expedite my order to ensure i get it on time and ofcourse i informed them of the item i bought after my first order where i selected pay on delivery and how they were practically pursuing me to come and pay for it, uptill now there is no response from Jumia, today will make it 15 days since i placed my order and i've not received it. Whenever i placed an order for an item from an american store online, am very sure i will receive my item in 5 working days here in Nigeria and that's standard USPS, if i want it in 3 days DHL or UPS or Fedex.

As for Jumia, i will go and file a charge back against them on monday to recoup my money and i will forever stay clear of them while i will always bad mouth them wherever i have the opportunity to do so until they repent

Even with auto renewal, a verve card cannot be charged without your authorization, if it's a mastercard or visa it can be charged directly but not a verve card. There is more security on the verve card i can assure you i.e OTP.

I've been a banker for almost 3 years until about 3 months ago when i got great offer from somewhere else. My banking career was reakky interesting as my role is ebanking and POS business manager. Though i have to admit the target is killing especially if you're in Abuja as i am. I thank God i was able to leave on time, banking is not worth the stress at all, people will think you're the vault and you'll get pressured from families all the time after all you're a banker (so they see you like money).

My advice to people will be, don't even dream to be a banker in the first place, go and do your own business and let the bankers come and beg you to open account with them.

To configure the success page if on a store website, check for the last transaction ID, and check if it returns 1 or 0. If 1, you can the redirect to a success page, query the transaction details and status and then display it on the success page.

I've been able to setup the form, the hash and post to the gateway successful as well as redirect to a page i desire but i need help with the successful page configuration, i have no idea on how to set retrieve the transaction status. Though am also able to save all the parameters to a database on the way to GTPAY for payment so i have informations such tran ID hash cust ID, amount and others stored in a database.

If i need to provide more information please let me know.

Lol, really funny comments here, what you experienced is a chargeback, all you need to do is contact the bank that issued your card and they will give you a chargeback form which will contain information about the transaction i.e amount and your account details. This information will be processed by your bank to CBN and who will then reverse your money back between 5 -7 working days. Normally you're eligible to fill the chargeback form after 24 hours of transaction but your transaction is more than that so you can go ahead and get your money reversed.

Also note, GTB is not supposed to tell you your money is blocked, am sure the person you met there must be inexperience to make such comment.
