I am a big supporter of Tinubu and I believe he has the man management skills needed to rule a nation like Nigeria but his health is a big challenge and that makes him extremely difficult to sell to the new generation of voters that were not eligible in 2015 and 2019. Osibanjo is a product of Tinubu political school of thought, he’s just as intelligent as tinubu, he’s capable of making tough decisions, we saw the case of the formal NSA director while Buhari was away.

Now , despite all have said, it’s extremely stupid for any party to attempt to pick a candidate via consensus method. It’s almost never ends well when a proper primary isn’t conducted.

If APC is afraid of a free and fair election simply because they are Afraid tinubu might win, then it makes sense to say it’s going to be a miracle for osibanjo or amaechi to win Atiku.

His Channels TV interview yesterday was a master stroke after the uneasiness that followed the Ogun state campaign. He said everything that needed to be said without caring about anybody’s feelings.

Osibanjo needs tinubu’s support to stand a chance of winning. Tinubu doesn’t need osibanjo’s support to defeat Atiku but he needs Buhari’s full support to get the much needed votes. APC stands a better chance of winning 2023 election with Tinubu but any health challenge between now and feb 2023 could easily change the narrative. In nutshell, I think by next week Tuesday, Atiku is going to know if he’s going to be president or not.

I am out here feeling a lot of pity for Nigerians. If you follow politics very well and you extend your interest to foreign politics, you’ll realize, it’s a basic constitutional right to contest for an election, it’s so basic and I just can’t understand why any president would suggest a consensus candidate or how a presidential screening chairman could utter this statement “only youthful aspirants were cleared”… Are you for real The right to contest for an election is now something we play politics with What kind of leadership are these people teaching the youths If you don’t want Tinubu, Pick a candidate of your choice, campaign vigorously for him by convincing the party delegates he’s the man for the job. Tinubu is a party loyalist, if he loses in a free and fair election, believe me, he’ll put the party first ahead of his own political ambition. That man used AD to fight a federal government (obasanjo regime), he used ACN to take the whole of southwest from PDP, and APC to take federal control. They told him not to create any LCDA, he refused, and insisted that was the best way to get government closer to the people. Same concept are now being practiced in most states. Southwest is the most developed part of Nigeria, and you simply can’t take away the fact that their leaders are way better than what’s obtainable in other region even though they are all corrupt but an average Nigerian is corrupt anyways. If Tinubu says he wants to be president, he has every right to contest in a free and fair election and he’s a better candidate than most of the ones available simply because of his man management skills and that’s something that’s extremely important in managing a country as big as Nigeria. His appointees are going to steal but there’s something different about them. You can’t compare wike to Fashola, you can’t compare osibanjo to the immediate formal Vice President, I can’t even remember his name. In as much as i don’t mind a tinubu administration, if Buhari candidate is osibanjo, it makes a lot of sense for tinubu to support him, presidency coming to the south is bigger than city boy’s ambition. A king maker makes a lot enemies when making kings, that’s just a price Tinubu has to pay for his political influence over the years. Buhari is fighting for his legacy, having Osinbajo as president is going hide the regular revelations that follows every change in power. Osinbajo can’t say bad about the administration he was part of and buhari too is counting on him to finish some of the projects he has started. Most importantly, he’s not a politician, it’s easier for Buhari to protect his political structure under Osinbajo. Tinubu as president has the potential to render most influential people useless, he’ll spread his political influnece easily to the north and that’s something the northern elders won’t allow. With osibanjo, the north can easily maintain their influence but here is the question “Can APC defeat ATIKU without the full support of Tinubu It’ll take a miracle for that happen.

The same Tambuwal shouldn’t forget obj and Goodluck won against northern candidates. APC presidential primary is going to be very interesting to watch. Tinubu is extremely important to apc, not necessarily as presidential candidate but as a leader who has the resources necessary to win an election. Buhari isn’t comfortable with buhari, same reason obasanjo didn’t handover power to Atiku but here is my question…how do you win an election without a man that’s extremely influential in Nigeria’s politics?? How do you choose a consensus candidate that’s agreeable by all factions? ACN faction of APC wants to produce the next president, the leader of that faction, which is tinubu see himself as the person who should make that decision. Is he wrong to ask ? No, but should it be him, that’s for Nigerians to decide. APC has the ethical responsibility of letting tinubu contest in a free and fair election, he has to lose based on general consensus that was chosen via election and not imposition. Choosing a consensus candidate simply because you feel no one is capable of defeating is the some reason why APC is going to lose the main election. I am not saying they should make him their candidate but if they’ll win the election, TINUBU MUST BE HAPPY

I resigned from my job 8 months ago (July). I worked with this firm for one full year. It was a rollercoaster ride. I used to be very proactive and full of energy, going all out to achieve things no matter what was at stake.

When I took up this job last year, I was hoping to build a career and carve a niche for myself... But I was wrong. Before I resumed, a lot of people had resigned. Even on the day I resumed, I met just one staff on ground (he was trying to buy time before he eventually quits). So we were just two (2) in the office. It felt awkward because the environment wasn't challenging and competitive enough for me, but I had to do what was expected of me. Till the day I resigned, I was not found wanting in any aspect.. But I guess that was where everything went wrong. I was taken advantage of, used and manipulated.
My boss was a chronic micromanager and very insecure.

Despite all these, I tried to allay his fears and made sure I did my best to assure him nothing would ever go wrong. He abuses us verbally with words I'm so ashamed to type here. When the other guy eventually resigned, I was left all alone with him. I took up his responsibilities coupled with mine. I was overworking myself every single day of the week. I became a shadow of myself and always felt sick whenever I get up from bed every morning. I was doing this for 4months till we were able to get a replacement for the guy. And believe you me, we were recruiting every month afterwards till I left because they were always resigning or should I say disappearing after the end of every month. So we practically had a new staff who would work for a month and disappear. And the reason was not far fetched, My Boss. He believes all job seekers are hungry and would take anything just for the cash (stipends). You can imagine a graduate bring sent on so many ridiculous domestic errands.

Though I'm not oblivious of the fact that it's not easy to set up a business here in Nigeria or even to pay salaries. I know what it takes, but that doesn't mean you should now use people like slaves.

As a service provider, you should know how to handle your clients, but this man would talk to them anyhow, insult them and then expect me to fix the mess or else I won't get paid. And because I was ready to do anything just for the progress of the company, he believed I had no choice. But I'm the kind of person that hates being idle. Hence, the reason for not seeing it as a big deal. Then came a time, I was at my wits end, couldn't go on anymore. I lost all motivation and up till now.

One of the most painful thing I heard after I left was when someone from the office called to tell me what happened that day. Sometimes, I usually use my money to quickly do some little office stuffs if the man is not around. So there were lapses after I left, he now asked what was really going on. So the guy on ground told him what I usually did.. And his response , "if I knew I had money, why did I come to work then?" Imagine. I felt so disappointed!

This is the same man that would refund you if you tell him you spent your money for the company, then go ahead to deduct it from your salary at the end of the month after looking for excuses or an offence you didn't commit.

Now, most people here in Lagos go through same or worse ordeal every single day. Leave home early, get abused at work, get home late. Looking rough and tired all for a pay that won't last up to 2weeks. I pity the married folks more, they can't resign/quit because they've got bills to pay, responsibilities (wife and kids), some even have girlfriends, they're stuck. I also have responsibilities and bills though, but thank God I'm still single.

This is the time to go all out and take chances, take risks and it will definitely pay off in the end. I've been able to focus more since I resigned, sleep well, eat well, learning some digital skills to boost my CV and running a little business of mine. Though it's not been easy, but I know I'm on the right path.
