floboyza: Hi Guys, Please I need advice from those that are well-informed on this matter. I have an accounting degree and would like to study a course with PR pathway. But my study agent suggests that I apply for masters in Accounting first so I can easily get my study visa and then change course in Australia.
My question is can I change course in Australia after applying for my master's in Accounting to Social Work for example in the same school? Any advice on this will be appreciated. Thank you Yes, get the visa first. it’s becomes easier if the school offers social work too. A lot of people do that. |

Ayob3: Hello,
I have a few questions to ask please
- Does any one knows or have had experience of student dependent visa refusal while onshore (Australia)
- Can someone please refer me to a lawyer Y don’t you reapply for your visa, then include your dependents in the new application (with all the documents u used during the first application). Just get a new COE, bank statement, and a family insurance. You can also try consult an agent to help with the application. |

Light21: Please my people has anyone done dependent visa here? Was it successful and how long did it take please am worried please I need a response. Thanks Pls be calm and prayerful. I guess u are offshore and your husband is onshore at the time of filling the application. Ours took almost 5months, but it came out successful, although he didn’t change his school, he only included myself and my daughter in his new application when he got to Australia . Priority is currently given to the fresh student applicants, and because of the large numbers of applicants ,this might have caused a little bit of delay. It will come out soonest and successful. |

Our application was submitted in March, and biometrics wasn’t part of the requirement, only the medical HAPP ID. The agent handling our application said that the portal only generated what is required for our application and the biometrics wasn’t part of it. I don’t know if this is an issue. Although my husband is in Australia as a student, but we reapplied together with him under the subclass 500.He did both medical and biometrics for his first application.I don’t know y this application is not bringing out the biometrics for us. Is this an issue? |
