You can charge with generator sir.

Anyone who can afford an electric will not worry about charging.

Soon private individuals and companies will start setting up charging points for a fee. Do you think you can be the first to start it?

Car Talk / Re: Innoson Ex02 Electric car Owner Interviewed While Speeding with the car by Rhozabeth(m): 6:39am On Sep 19
PointB:

A full charge taking you 350 km is quite substantial.

I'm not sure how much power, cost wise, is used to charge the battery for the 6hr required for max charging, but it must be significantly lower than the cost of buying fuel for the same distance. So it's an impressive feat, and would certainly make sense in the Nigeria market.

Though normally, electric cars are notoriously more expensive than petrol cars, and one can argue that the cost of buying the fuel would have been factored into the cost of the car. However, in Nigeria where the cost of fuel is increasing in arimethemetic (or even geometric) proportion, electric cars may simply be the way to go.

Good one Innoson.

You wrote a very good piece bro, but you missed out the part where we will get the power to charge the car! Power is still very unstable in this country and commercial point of charging are still not available!

The part that I hate the most is the so called powerful individuals. It certainly means that some people are well above the law in the God-forsaken country.
I doubt if justice will ever be served in this case!

Most commercial bus drivers drink all manners of sachet drinks and once you are high, the tendency for errors are very high because your judgement is impaired. God help us always as no one is safe from these reckless drivers. RIP to the dead.

Politics / Re: List Of Oil Producing State 2024 & How Much They Got As 13% Derivation by Rhozabeth(m): 6:10pm On Aug 12
MadamVanessa:
shocked

Akwa Ibom state is the second largest oil producing state. Despite billions of allocation given to the state by the federal government, nothing much to show. My brothers and sisters there are living in penury, no work , nothing to show. Godswill Akpabio the clownish senate president now and Udom Emmanuel did nothing than looting the state, even the present state governor Umoh Eno won't be an exception. Failed leaders.
Just as you are talking about Akwa Ibom, come check out Delta. Then check the difference (in that 13% derivation) between Delta and Akwa Ibom, the difference is huge yet there is absolutely nothing to show for it in Delta.
I know they have good roads to some extent in Akwa Ibom but pls come and see what is happening in Delta.
The governors are a bigger evil that the president, I swear!

But Nigeria remains the largest importer of PMS in Africa despite Dangote
True but action is artificial and at d same time political!
We can actually move away from that if we want to, it only requires the political will which this present govt does not have.
Politics / Re: Why Fuel Importers Will Frustrate Dangote – Obasanjo by Rhozabeth(m): 6:17am On Aug 06
To be honest, I foresee Dangote Refinery going the way of the other govt refineries if Dangote continues to source for crude from Nigeria. The govt of the day has shown that they are going to starve him of crude.
I suggests he starts to proactively think of where to get his crude and where to sell the finished products because the importers will do everything to 'knock' that refinery to its knees!!!

Politics / Re: Nigerians Experience Blackout As National Grid Collapses Again by Rhozabeth(m): 5:59am On Aug 06
Should we not be asking why this grid does not collapse in other countries? I have never heard of say South Africa or Egypt being plunged into darkness beause their national grid collapsed. And ours has collapsed plunging us into darkness not less than 5 times this year alone. Shouldn't we be asking if we are using obsolete technologies? Shouldn't we be asking some critical questions?
Just asking for the the minister.
Politics / Re: Tinubu, A Tyrant In The Making - Farooq Kperogi by Rhozabeth(m): 7:34am On Aug 05
It beats me how some people will come to this kind of space to praise a govt that lacks vision and direction and call a president that cannot see beyond his nose a visioneer! What nonsense.
A president that does not grant interview because everything has to be written for him, a president that behaves like he is high all the time! The worst we have ever had.

All the people shouting 100-120k should remember that the provate sector which forms the largest employer of labour may not be able to go near that amount as they are already bleeding with from lack of power, multiple taxation and other operational challenges. Nigeria is heading for disaster even with the minimum wage. I see more loss of jobs coming.

Of all the challenges bedeviling this country, they could not pass laws to cushion our suffering, the best they can offer us at this time is change of national anthem?
We can all see that what they do in that national assembly is to share money and deliberate on useless matters.
This country is doomed!
