I see you've been assuming I'm not a Lagosian (Like most of u always do anytime someone questions Tinubu's credibility). Newsflash: I'm a born and bred Lagosian, never lived outside Lagos except for my service year, I work and pay my tax in Lagos. So yes, I have every right to talk about governance in my state.

One day when I'm chanced we will talk about how Lagos state government under the grip of Tinubu has fared compared to its counterparts in other parts of the world. We will look at the revenue generated vis-a-vis the development on ground to show for it.

We will talk about how Addis Ababa-Djibouti rail line of 759 km was constructed between 2011-2017(6 years ) and how Lagos light rail project of 27km has been on since 2008- till date(14 years).

Like I said, one day we will sit and unpack some of these things una dey use shiny language package dey celebrate.

All those things he said will sound credible if tinubu has already not been tested at the national level. He's making it sound as if tinubu is an opposition, But with the number of his boys there, one can't make that argument.

Whatever vision tinubu had for this country could have been actualized since he's led by proxy. Tinubu is not detached from this government.
He's a part and parcel of it.

3. Tinubu legitimize hooliganism in Lagos State. Some may argue that this is not as bad as it seems considering how it has reduced crime, but until you have an encounter with these guys being a law to themselves u will understand the danger it portends for our future.

4. Tinubu is physically sick. No one needs to remind you of how voting a sick Yar Adua ended for us neither does anyone needs to tell you how Buhari's constant attention to his health has affected Nigeria as a nation.

5. Tinubu is one of the major actors that sold the bad product called buhari to all Nigerians. His sense of judgement should never be trusted going forward

These are but few reasons why reasonable people are actually wishing Buhari does not become Nigeria president come 2023.

Exactly what I was trying to get Coronovirus and others like him to understand. It's like climbing a tree and then kicking the ladder away. There's no single country that illegal immigration destroys in World's history and you rightly noted that bad political leaders like Trump and probably Buhari are the ones destroying countries. All my life growing up till today, never felt threatened by undocumented immigrants in America as long as they are not into criminal activities. If our guys here are advocating for shutting the US borders and mass deportation, do they know how many Africans including thousands if not hundreds of thousands of Nigerians that will be affected. Last point, I have been to Central Iowa and you couldn't believe what these Hispanics do at the farms for peanuts that Americans or Nigerians won't even do. That's why I refer to them as the Bread basket of America.

You still don't get it. US is on a balance now and it could tip the other way and plunge the country into a protracted crisis. People have been asking for Facebook, Twitter et al to put better restrictions, algorithm and moderation for years, especially after the last US elections where it was shown that Facebook can be used to create political chaos. Facebook allowed ISIS to use its platform for radicalization and recruitments before they were shut down. It was too late by then.

Trump effectively used twitter for his own radicalization and recruitment and numerous people pointed out the dangers then. Now it's almost too late. Millions of Americans have been radicalised and most are ready to carry arms at Trump's command. There are now too many extremist right groups in the US, all pledging allegiance to Trump and not even the US. There are White Nationists, Confederates, KKK, etc all ready to pick up arms against the state.

If these big tech don't bring things under control, they would be able to survive a protracted crisis.
