Seriously, few months ago I probably wouldn't have been surprised by this result, but I assumed after the corona situation people will realize how little Trump cares about the American citizens. All he cares about is himself. I can't really tell what exactly is wrong with Americans. Do we blame this on the education system? A lack of empathy? The age demographic? Racism, ignorance etc?

for me, I think the issue is always based on religion and racism.

People say trump is appealing to worst in society, but I think it's wrong, trump is appealing to people who chose faith and ethnicity over personality and anything else. And these people are in large number till this day.


If you look at Nigeria, buhari underperformed and should have been easily defeated in 2019, but he appealed to his core base of Muslims and northerners who think south Christians just want him out because he his a muslim. (Even when buhari himself has shown he is moderate and not core muslim like them)


Same thing is going in us. Us is large conservative Christian's who belief trump is saving america from Muslims. Even the librals who are devoted Christians are not left out in this belief.

Even if you look at his supporters in Nigeria, they are not doing it cos trump is good for America or the rest of the world, but because most of them either see him as the one to finish all the anti christ from islam country or he will give them biafra.

And it's easier to brainwash people who are already brainwashed by their ethnicity and religion..
