You people have started analyzing politics like children again.

Tinubu is not interested in picking Muslim vice. He is smart.
The fact that he kept distancing himself from any news of Muslim-muslim ticket should be an indication that he is not interested in picking Muslim vice.

The question you guys supposed to ask yourself is, how revelant is the vice in the scheme of things?

Who knew osinbajo before tinubu presented him as vice?
How many votes did osinbajo command in south?
He can literally pick any unknown christian in the north and prop him up to osinbajo level.


Also, I doubt tinubu will pick someone that won't be loyal to him as vice.
Winning election in north has nothing to do with the person he picked as vice, but heavily on the political structure of apc.

Secondly, Lagos is bound to be economically vibrant. A nation's federal capital of almost 100 years of the richest country in Africa is supposed to be number 1 not even number 5. Lagos is supposed to be the newyork of Africa. The first and most developed city in the continent.

we could say the same for whatever obi achieved in his uneventful 8 years as governor. abuja has been capital for than 35 years in modern day nigeria, yet its not even close to lagos that has seized to be capital in the same period. but somehow lagos success must be connected to something that happened close 40 years ago.

The vast majority of it's population are suffering. High costs of living. From water, traffic gridlocks. Abandoned sewers, high rent etc etcetera.
Lagos doesn't look like what a modern city should look like so I don't get where this tinubu encomiums come from. Go to Abuja and see what a city looks like. Abuja is the only planned city in Nigeria. From designated commercial areas to residential areas and 10 lane roads to a relatively low cost of living because of cheap food imports from the north.

Live in Abuja, then go back to Lagos, you would curse tinubu and his urchins. Both are federal capital territories.

Fourthly, the man is old and fragile, do you really want another person ruling fro London and an invisible cabal ruling the country?

i have lived in abuja and its no where near lagos in whatever index you chose.

abuja was more planned than lagos but with the vision of guys like tinubu and fashola, lagos still edged out abuja in whatever index you chose.

The reason why we had cabals running the country is simply because Buhari is not a smart politician. At some point, the cabals began to interfere with the work of his ministers and other appointees, dishing out instructions here and there...In fact, it got so bad that they existed different cabals...

One thing I know Tinubu does well is that he steers the ship himself with advise from a trusted few however they'll never be as power as the cabal under Buhari.

i think, Candidate that already ruled a mini Nigeria called Lagos very successfully.

Candidate that turned mini Nigeria to 5th largest economy in Africa and one of the most SECURED metropolitan city of the same population magnitude in the world without huge oil money.

if any other candidate achieved half of what tinubu achieved in lagos, i will be campaigning for that person.

Tinubu understood the term "no permanent friend or foe in politics." Tinubu will work with obasanjo to achieve his goal if needed.

The more time people spend talking about tinubu, the less time they have talking about other candidates. The more popular he becomes.

They already have enough to use against him and they haven't worked, some irrelevant interviews that no one will remember in 5 weeks time won't be a master stroke that will stop him.
