veegurl: @Richards08! This is serious! Just because of documents? Which documents did she not present that made them to send her back? Because i have seen some people that went with $5k. She only had her passport with her, dollars and credit card. |

freshdad: i empathize with you. However, if you have read this Part alone well enough, you'd have noticed the avoidance of that POE.
I also made mention of it some pages back, in mid-july, my BIL was almost sent back from the same chicago because my sister changed her hospital.
I hope you can reapply and get a fair date. explain carefully what happened and you'd be fine. Thanks bro.. Nah, I didn't read, I just joined NL |

shrekandfiona: I know of a family friend that went thru worst at Chicago's POE. She even gave birth prematurely on arrival back to Naija. She has not yet recovered from the shock
The worst part was she was a frequent US traveller and she went with her hubby n kids. They were all sent back Oh my God, that's sad to hear. God will make it up for them. |

Babatwi: Na wah o! I haven't heard of this kind of something in a long time o. After reading your 1st post i just assumed she was owing money from a previous birthing trip. What the F. I feel so terrible on you guys behalf. What poe was that? The painful thing is that they didn't allow her rest, they were not even concerned about her pregnancy, the stress she would have gone through on such a long flight time. It's all good, I bless God my baby is still very okay |

Babatwi: Ha! The almighty Chicago. It has been said here times without number that Chicago and Houston are not for the faint hearted. And some people will come and write here that all poe's are the same. I'm almost certain she would have been able to scale through Jfk if she had tried jfk. Yea, we never thought about it. If it were money, we can afford it. Sorry for my words. However, it was later we got to know that Chicago poe is a no-no. I just hope they issue d visa asap, we're running out of time. |

shawlar: Sorry richard, I do not understand the bolded part of your statement...,
Had your wife gone for a previous birth trip b4 and was owing hospital/doc fees? or she was sent back because she hadn't paid the hospital bills for this present pregnancy that she is yet to deliver...?
Abeg clarify, Also, that's her first time of traveling.. That's our first child coming. |

Abeg clarify, She was deported at the Port of Entry because she could not prove financial buoyancy, truth be told, we forgot d document on the dining table, altho she had her document backed up on her phone but the immigration officer denied her access to her phone, the guy wanted hard copies I guess. She went with no document apart from 6k dollars, her credit card of 4k dollars, and Form A - which is used to make dollar payments. Thanks shawlar |

Babatwi: Administrative process can be a bit tricky,in the sense that it can be under AP and it will be ready for pick up the next day. The whole waiting period between interview and collection for all the people i know ( me included) has not been more than a week.I will advice you push her departure date backwards. Sadly i don't think you guys can do anything to hasten it up. When is she due? Hope you've checked airline policy for carrying pregnant women. I stand corrected, but i don't think think missing doctors appointment is such a big deal,it can always be rescheduled. Yeah bro, if the AP is within a week, I can hope for the better. However, if it passes 5 days, I guess she wouldn't be granted "fit to fly" letter anymore. In fact, I can say she's due for delivery. |

MamaOO: This is really sad. Have you tried tracking her passport on the CEAC (or something) website to see what's going on? It's kind of weird that she will be approved for a visa and sent to Admin Processing without any notification from them. Maybe they're trying to verify information. What POE did she try and enter the US from initially?
And low Babatwi said, there's nothing you can do to hasten up the process. They are done when they are done. Could take 1 day, could take 3 months. When is she due? Yea I've checked CEAC... Administrative Processing.. She's due for early next month |
