I think you qualify as a simple applicant..**in haquinsBFX's voice***.
Nice docs uve got there. But I dont see payslips and your personal SOA. Please do well to add them no matter how much u have in ur SOA

That is where I become a complex applicant... I work only for experience in my dad's company as a construction coordinator, I earn no salary from the job I do. When I need money, I just ask him. And this has been this way since I resumed early 2014. So thats why I decided not to post anything from the account oo.
I've spent sleepless nights thinking about this part.

ooya twizzie .. I see your suggestion for the other page.. ooya I need help with this part of my application

I think it will be very unfair if I don't share this testimony here too. I was a member here for close to a year. I got admit with Lakehead University to study a master's degree but was denied the visa twice. One in 2013 and another one in 2014. But just this morning I got my study visa to the US. One of the words that kept my hope alive is a regular quote here : if it's in our hearts God will some day put it in our hands.

I hope I did encourage someone

congrats...

Hi hi folks.

Pls for those that were denied before that were later given after a second attempt, is it compulsory I let them know I was previously denied in my second attempt. Or shud I just apply afresh.

it's very important you let them know because they will find out anyways.they still have your records. so lying to the VO will do your application no good. just make sure you amend the reasons you were denied. there are guys who live and eat this thread, and are willing to help you. so list out your application problems if you have any.

I had same issue with my Proof of Funds. What I finally did was to scan as black and white and used the second-to-the-lowest DPI...Better black and white but legible, than coloured with blurred content...

However, my other documents were submitted in coloured!

Thanks bro, lemme try the b&w then
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by richcasey: 11:12pm On May 30, 2015
how on earth were you people able to compress your documents to 4mb. my proof of financials alone get like 80 different pages. all from sponsor and i have like 23mb. oh boy.... i have tried compressing but no luck to 4mb. i wanna scan some again and reduce their DPI to the lowest

Please I want to verify something, I have been given admission to a US & Canadian school, I want to enquire if Canadian embassy hold on to passport after an online application when I get to do my biometrics or would I hold on to it till when its been approved for stamping visa?
Also, how long is the online application and do I need to do a medical test first?

no they don't hold onto your passport. They'll request for it if the VO wakes up on the good side if his/her bed and touches your application that day.

Gtbank done chop me be that and this would probably end any serious transaction I will do with them.
my transaction was charged at 171 CAD, I wonder what was the need for CBN FORM A. imagine 11 Naira difference and I transferred 13,000 already.

I think Gtbank just sold money to me at there own rate, and throw away the form A.

aw mennnnn... GT is now so fckued up now.... sorry about that....

thats your 143k they just swallowed...

that one sef u fit add take buy plane ticket na..

Ogbeni how far, you done finish?

I did a trial payment of 1000 CAD on my student portal with my gtbank mastercard, surprisingly it went through but the conversation rate was 174 Naira.

I called diamond bank they gave me 164.2 with other charges like 1% commission, 2500 naira telex copy and 5% VAT.
It would probably sum up to the same thing with gtbank.

ok so they finally made the transfer. And here's what happened.

I walked into diamond bank for the Form A on friday. They asked me to open an account. I did that and deposited 300k into the account because I just wanna pay the acceptance fee for now 1500 CAD. So because of diesel and all that I was asked to come on monday.

on monday, I got to the bank at 7mins past 1pm and the bank had closed. I went back home.

On tuesday morning, the bank guy assigned to my case called me to come over. And when I got there they asked me to get my BVN number. I had to go back to GT for that.
I had already filled the form A on friday and submitted along a copy of my acceptance, passport data page, degree Certificate and a formal letter requesting for the transfer to canada.

Today, I received an alert of my account debited NGN243,000 for the CAD1,500
change rate @162 no other charges YET! I hope they don't charge anything more sha.

I hope that helps you and any other person seeking to pay their fees.

bros my case no dey ground ooo. so so complications. the fuel scarcity dey add to my problem. im not happy about things right now. but in all her's my conclusion. at GT they didn't have my time and they tossed me around for a full day. nut at Diamond, an officer was assigned to my case and although i had to open an account and all that, things are currently being sorted out and they say payment will be effected tomorrow.

Gathering documents
connestoga college, pgd, construction project management fall 2015

** documents gathering no be beans ooo**

1. ALL CIC FORMS

2. PROOF OF ACCEPTANCE

Acceptance fee receipt ( waiting for receipt from school)
official undergrad certificate
Official undergrad transcript
wassce result

3. PROOF OF IDENTITY

birth certificate
passport data page

4. PROOF OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT

Acceptance fee receipt ( waiting for receipt from school)
Sponsor (DAD)
Statement of account (6 months, incoming transaction 125million naira & balance of 15million naira my fees is 15,000cad and 12,000 cad for housing and 10,000 for miscellaneous was what I declared on the CIC form. So 37,000cad funds available for me from sponsor)
letter and declaration of sponsorship
passport data page(it expired, so he renewed it last week. It's not yet ready.. but I want to submit my form next week, if his passport isn't ready, I'd use his driver's license)
Company registration document
landed properties. ( most of them are surveyor papers as he's been processing them for CofO for almost 2yrs now and can't even remember where he dropped the receipts. angry na wa oooo **sweat)

5. LETTER OF EXPLANATION

statement of purpose (still writing, graduated with architecture, and going for construction project management pgd since I couldn't get straight into masters)
CV (this is the complicated part) for this part I will send pms to the bosses around here to help in this matter. Na personal thing.

so that is all I intend to submit. Please opinion needed

For my SOA I work with my dad and I don't get paid salary, I just transfer when I need money. So I wouldn't be submitting it. because even most times, I take cash or directly from his account. So its complicated trying to explain this to the vo so I just dont wanna put it there.

For employment letter, I don't have any as I am a director in his company. Although the company isn't related I anyway with construction or architecture (because of me though we are working towards creating a real estate part of the company) I work in the company as a director and as a construction coordinator. In the past 2years I have supervised the construction of a building I designed for the company. Can I write enough on this building to convince the vo of my work with the company and how it relates to my undergrad degree and the vo wont ask for my soa since Im not sponsoring myself.

ook my essay is getting too long. For now.....

thats all folks....

i dunno if i am right but one huge red flag i see in this application is, she started a new job in february , you applied in April . i believe VOs won't buy the study leave and promotion letter thing. you know most companies have a policy on the minimum time you have to work before you get a study leave let alone promotion on a PGD. ANYWAYS i no be the VO, this is my opinion just based on the things i have seen here since part 3 started.
