For those asking, NGN to CAD yesterday at the airport 28 July, 2019 was NGN 286 = 1 CAD.

I got mine changed for NGN 284 by calling a mallam in my area, he initially offered 290 but I checked abokifx.com and bargained for the price I saw on abokifx which was NGN 284 and he agreed.

I think ralfudoh already answered your question. Run fast and run far from that agent, what a crazy suggestion. You need express entry if you don't wanna study again but if you still wish to study, then PhD is the way to go.
On the case "I don't want to lose and roaming about in Canada." Well it's not like when you get to Canada as a PR through express entry for example you'll just get a job like that. It might go easy or it could be tough, take your time and go through this link below, that's where you should be.

3. It's been super difficult getting a temporary accommodation, we land in 3 weeks and even the Airbnb route is quite expensive. The regular apartments I've seen all require some sort of documentation and a referee so I guess we have to be physically there to sort that out. Who knows how I can get temporary accommodation for a family of four for like a week or two weeks tops in London Ontario
