It contained some questions a lot of people have sought answers to for decades. Just because a few samples out of a pack shows signs of failure does not mean all samples in the pack are bad.

When most people cry over how bad marriages are, they forget the silent millions having the best of life in their union. Dont be fooled, there are absolutely heaven-on-earth homes today.
A happy Union does not start when you are in the marriage. It starts from your courtship. A lot of signs will tell you never to embark on this futility if it were never meant to be. You will feel it in your inside but your lust, desire, and thirst for escape will overule your sense of judgement.
There are two kinds of Men; the Hunter and the Gardener. A Hunter goes for the biggest kill that if brought home would swell his pride acquire him some accolades which may last only but for a short time. No wonder a hunter will lie and wait patiently until he can aim accurately at his target. Afterwards, he takes his kill home, eat and destroy the meat to bones or carcass. You would never believe it was the same animal he layed patiently for hrs, weeks, months or years only to get home and consume to bones.
But a Gardener is patient with his flower. He prunes, trimes and wait patiently till they grow to his desire. He never complains. He loves and never gives up hope on how beautiful and amazing the flower will come to be.
My dear, every man will depict his true nature in courtship but your selfish nature will never allow you to reason if he is a hunter or a gardener. Open the eyes of your mind, your ears and mouth and you will find beyond comprehension the dictates, workings and revelations of the Holyspirit.

Issues? Not really. But I know someone very close to me who is married but her marriage is nothing to write home about.

She's everything a Nigerian wife material should be, submissive et al. But her husband is just not it.
I don't want to go into details but I've seen too much to understand why some people don't want to get married.
Partners are supposed to stand by each other right? But do you know that many partners are the cause of their partner's pain?

The woman in question is a good woman no questions. She prayed for him and still prays for him but him and his family have treated her badly(this is why I don't support that praying for your partner when he/she is misbehaving,cheating and all that).

This person is close to me.
Being alone is better than being with a "partner from hell".

Many single women experience a kind of happiness that many so-called married women can only dream of.

They'll deny this fact (I. e the married women) but that's not surprising as they've mastered the skill of suffering and smiling. Smiling to wicked in-laws to appear like a virtuous woman , smiling to church members, smiling to the camera for the gram, smiling to the single folks telling them what they're missing (lol), smiling to society telling them how their marriage is filled with bliss.

Abeg many of these marriages are just for show. No companionship just fake smiles and children.
