If you collect money from someone with the intention of deceiving them. That is a scam. Stealing a ponmo or tiny meat from your mummy's pot and someone steals huge some through yahoo and another steals through falsifying figures in his office. They are all thieves even if they clear their tracks so well that they can't be traced. The art of stealing and not just the magnitude of what you steal is what defines and makes you a thief. This one thing I know. No thief in any shape or guise lives long. They all die a mysterious death if they refuse to stop and change their ways. Judas for Bible na best example. I hate dishonesty just as I hate the devil. I have zero tolerance for deceitful men and women alike. This is a public domain. Let us all strive to be better persons because in the near future whatever we do today will wait for us in multiplied form tomorrow. Phew!... I'm ok now as I let this off my chest. My trading watchword(s) still remains: "Trade slow and steady" and "Be slow to make money". ![]() |
JasonNOTStatham:I remember a friend of mine in secondary school who liked a girl but didn't know how to ask her out and obviously he had no confidence as well. But one of our friends helped him and after a few weeks she agreed. Do you know what later happened? The following week this new boyfriend couldn't keep the company of his new girlfriend and she broke up with him. You see, my guy was helped by another guy of mine but in the end the helped couldn't sustain the relationship because he had no clue of how to and he couldn't be help beyond being helped getting the girl. Just like NIKE... Just do it... I will add "yourself". I say no more. |
infofirst:@infofirst, I've done all of the above. |
Riverrun:So what's the point if you look for someone that will bail you out and at the end of the day you still can't trade for yourself? The best thing is to go through the failing phase, learn from your failure in order to further acquire and hone your trading skills. You'll become better for it. |
infofirst:I've been of the school of thought that doing one thing at time makes you much more effective. You produce more results when you are a master of one pair. I'm seeing remarkable improvement leading to the results that I want just because I simply follow my mentor's advice of trading one pair and knowing it like the palm of my hand. I trade NASDAQ in indices. I go for GU if and when I want to trade forex. But I trade indices 98% of my trading. When trading NASDAQ, I use both US500 and US30 to filter my trades on NAS100 and I use DXY to gauge the direction and sentiment. |
Oops! See how I missed this raffle draw nomination for this last weekend o. I was off the internet all through yesterday. @infofirst and every other boss behind the scene making this happening, God continues to shower His blessings on you guys. Congratulations to you @Lanshile. I hope more of this will pop up here for us all and I hope to partake in the next one. Good morning FTA brothers and sisters. |
infofirst:I'll suggest samfelly "pump and forget" to us all. .Note: Contact samfelly for consultation. ![]() |
@infofirst the boss. This is my TFT account as at today. All trades closed for the week and next week I'll work towards reaching the 20% target hopefully. Please can I DM you tomorrow? Thanks.

GabsonFX2: My filter app is on point on this FTA space. Wetin concern me I put mouth and wetin no concern me I no dey put. Honestly, the positives here is way huge to make me learn from here everyday and not get distracted. But you see all the scammers in traders' clothing here, your payday of truckloads of suffering is very close by. If you refuse to change your ways, then you can't escape the inevitable. O ye foolish charlatans. ![]() |
DXY is a power tool to use to analyse USD pairs, indices etc. Knowing how to read and interpret it is a goldmine for profitability in this trading business. My trade watchword(s) still remains: "Trade slow and steady" and "Be slow to make money". I still no dey rush go anywhere. ![]() |
GabsonFX2:Congratulations GabsonFX2 on this new addition to your trade portfolio. I remember again today that you indirectly brought me to this wonderful family FTA. Thank you and God bless you. |
charly20:My padi, this is the real deal. In trading anything done in haste always ends in a sorry case. Chasing money beclouds our judgment of reading and interpreting the price which ultimately leads to wrong decisions in executions of trades and results in losses of accounts be it personal, funded or competition. My trading watchword(s) still remains: "Trade slow and steady" and "Be slow to make money ". |
infofirst:I've always liked you without knowing you just simply because I see you and your kind acts here. And now I like you more. |
My trading watchword still remains: "Trade slow and steady. Also another one: "Be slow to make money." I no dey rush go anywhere. |
GarkiAccessory:OK. |
GarkiAccessory:Would you like to pump and forget like samfelly? ![]() |
@infofirst, I will still stick to my new trading watchword: " Trade slow and steady ." Trading is not a child's play. ![]() Discipline, fearless and patience are the new friends am acquainting myself with now. ![]() Getting 10% in a month is not beans o. ![]() I hail all of una wet dey above 10% already on TFT. ![]()
|
My trading watchword now: "Trade slow and steady." ![]() |
Geovanni412:Really! |
samfelly: I no dey pump n forget o. Na beg I dey beg you. ![]() |
Winnerrrr:Thank you. |
karkinase:I can be one for me to be successful in this business. I'm on the journey of being one already. It's possible. |
VeeVeeMyLuv:I always use the both. I mean I don't want to feel I'm good and arrogant when I win a trade or feel otherwise when I lose a trade. I want to be indifferent to my trade outcome. |
Feshizzy:Becoming a robot with no emotions to the outcome of my trade per time is what I'm thinking out loud here. Even if the trade is executed on HTFs or LTFs. |
If I can remain unmoved ( with no emotions at all) whether my trade ends in a win or loss I'll become a good trader with time. This I know. |
GabsonFX2:I throway salute. ![]() |
Jameselias:My friend long time. Trading is very hard! Please don't trade from the place of NEED! It leads to a lot of irrational decisions trying to focus on money. I'm learning to trade to get better and not after the money per se even though I need the money. Now this one thing I know is if I'm getting better and consistent with my trading and I experience a drawdown temporarily, I'm confident I'll claw my way back up. My focus now is ME getting better with my trading craft and the rewards will flow in steadily. I empathize with everyone that lost their accounts. Do not give up! |
Hello guys, how do you manage your stop in a trade when it is running in floating profit? Note: I ask this as a session/day trader here. Thank you for your responses. ![]() |
This week from today to Wednesday there may not be much movement aka volatility until the CPI on Thursday. Watch it as not to be trap in a consolidation. I refer to USD based pairs. |
charly20: ![]() Do most traders really avoid this type of news? |
Remember guys today is NFP. Kindly be tread carefully. If you must trade, let the dust settle before you do. A good day here today for us. |
Let's be cautious of NFP this coming Friday to avoid stories that touch. @infofirst, I'll continue to say God bless more abundantly. |
