rainlover:Yeah. But it's all good now. |
richgen:It's updating well now. |
samfelly:Oh oh. I see. Thanks. |
infofirst:I just checked my fxblue now. It is not updating. and I entered my details correctly. |
64 people has registered already for the "Sit Up or Stay Out competition". This is going to be interesting. ![]() @samfelly, I notice one person is dqued already before comp starts. How this take be bro? Oga infofirst, how are you doing? |
![]() FTA Traders una good morning o. |
Donsheddy:DXY is not likely to stop being bullish until it gets to the premium side of the monthly dealing range from the swing high to the swing low forming a pullback. At least the equilibrium at 50% must be touched and or maybe stabbed into the premium high of the dealing range on the monthly before we may see either market ranging on weekly/daily or reversal of the same. This is just my opinion base on my observation for weeks that I've been applying to short NASDAQ lately. Go check it out and see for yourselves. |
O ma wa lagbara o. This one off me o. |
samfelly:Ok. Now I get it. ![]() |
samfelly:Have we started trading? Why is your balance more than 10k bro? ![]() |

samfelly:Done boss samfelly. |

I took a trade today since Monday and it ended well though I collapsed it without my TP reached. Discipline is one of the major keys to be applied consciously for every trade. |
What do you do when you look at the market and you don't see nothing? ![]() Nothing. That's the moment I am now since Monday this week. The more I tried to look the more I struggled to see as I want to see. ![]() |
infofirst:God bless you oga boss with this your blessing that you blessing this family. |
What an entertaining yet educative last weekend here on FTA. ![]() Una no go kill person with laff. ![]() Whatever action we make in trading as in life also, let's accept responsibility for it. In this market if you lose and maybe blow accounts, it is absolutely your fault. Period! |
I'm DQued already in the ongoing TFT competition due to Max drawdown breach. I did everything wrong with this month competition. Good luck to all still in the race.
|
Donsheddy: You know what Don?I've discovered I'm not too disciplined with competition account. The reason is obvious. I want to beat someone else to it and hence the race to do it. I have a demo account that I've been trading for over 5 months trading NAS100 and sometimes US30 which I have never exceeded using 0.10 lot in a single trade and I've never traded more than one trade in a day. If I lose a trade in a day whether the loss is much or not, I close the chart until the next trading day. And vice versa. This account is linked to myfxbook and it's verified but I don't want to make it public for some personal reasons but I had the intention of sending to boss infofirst privately. I think I already told him of it privately. I'm currently on 27% up on the account though recently dropped down from 33%. Indices have speed already and that's enough for me to leverage on but I personally must not trade with speed. I've heard of traders who use demo accounts to win deals with investors even in this our country. Yes demo accounts only! So I plan to do so with mine. If you know what I mean? ![]() If I get investors, I have proofs of this my trades from day one. |
infofirst:I welcome this stricter rules boss. |

I'm getting to know that trading reveals who I am to me and if I have flaws in my character as a trader by burning accounts (demo, competition, prop challenge and funded), then I must admit it and work of being of good character as a trader. Having winning streaks in trades even when you trade with discipline can be deceptive into thinking one has a grip on trading. This is not to be accepted until you can vouch for your consistent profitable trades for 18 months minimum without you breaking your own rules. -- This is my opinion though. At this point in my short moment of trading, I know trading can be fun without being agitated or worked up unnecessarily. I trade to make money but I don't trade from the point of my needs. If I can religiously go to each trade with this mindset then I'll be the better and profitable with time. My watchword(s) remains: '' Trade slow and steady'' and '' Be slow to make money'' |
Trading without the adequate knowledge of how the price books daily, weekly, monthly etc., will bring out the gambler in you. Without proper knowledge of the market you're trading, you'll only be at the mercy of the fluctuations of price every time you look into your chart. Price in the market does not occur randomly but it follows precise protocol of booking every second of each day. Looking to search out the know-how diligently, will make a responsible trader out of you. |
infofirst: Children get wetin dem dey think?Na to chop, play and chop, play dey go .... |
I hope NFP didn't no one shege today. ![]() We must learn to avoid news drivers like today. I avoided it like a plague today, although I was watching it as it was playing out for my personal study of its profile. ![]() My mentor will always say that not trading on a day like today you won't lose money. And I've found this to be personally true. If I must trade at all, I'll always wait for the dust to settle and see where price might want to go and if I can't see clearly,, I'll sit still and watch. I say this as a day/session trader of NASDAQ. ![]() =========================================== My trade watchword(s) remains: '' Trade slow and steady'' and ''Be slow to make money''. I'll add this: '' Being slow to make money in trading is NOT BORING'.' ![]() ============================================ I no dey rush go anywhere. ![]() |
infofirst:@infofirst, Here is mine.
|
infofirst:I implored this guy to go learn how to trade especially NASDAQ before he trades the prop account. NASDAQ no send anybody if you don't know what you're doing. |
infofirst:Hurray and congratulations to you guys. God bless infofirst and the other organisers. I'm just coming online now. I'll upload my competition screenshot soon. |
Ibrahimlagosian:Bro, if you're trading NASDAQ and you really want to trade it good. Go to YouTube and search for Inner Circle Trader Michael J. Huddleston and go to the playlist on his page and watch the "2022 trading model" about 40 episodes or thereabout. Don't rush through the videos. Kindly watch with keen attention and a note to write whatever comes up to you. Then the most important thing to do with the videos is to practice on a demo account for a minimum 6 months until you are sure you are having consistent positive results in your trades. Note: The knowledge in these videos might appear strange and difficult to grasp at first but relax and eat the information in it because I can promise you they're good stuffs and the real deal. Also don't touch that your new prop firm account till you've acquired remarkable skills to trade convincingly. I hope this helps. I wish you success in this your trading journey. In the meantime; My trading watchword(s) remains: "Trade slow and steady" and "Be slow to make money". ![]() |
