adioolayi: Well-done Minister Tunji Alausa ..
Returning the Education system to those old days of Teachers Training Colleges....where you just need 4 credits to enter Teachers Training..No need of JAMB.
We will have more formally trained teachers ..instead of many graduates that found themselves accidentally teaching because they couldn't get job with their main course of study. This will still not make candidates want to study education and agricultural related courses. Government needs to make the two sectors lucrative by investing and introducing positive reforms to attract people. |

If the governor grabs the APC ticket, which party is Wike now going to use to install his next puppet as governor? Is it his faction of PDP that they are still busy arguing whether the recent supreme court ruling affected their national secretary or not? Interesting days ahead
Meanwhile, why are we not hearing from City Boys Men again? The energy with which they started seems to have slowed down. City Men, what is happening? No more free money again. Obi will surely be on the ballot. |

DickenClarq: What amaze me about this rent increment is that the houses are still old, cracked walls, old paintings, rusted zinc, old silings outdated structures etc. And they will still have the guts to increase the rent outrageously and when the tenant pay they will be no repairs or renovations on the house
Some of the so called landlords are religious zealot with heart of stone.
This is the area the government needs to enact a law. You cannot increase your rent by more than 20 percent. Any increment should be after three years.
Salaries and businesses deal are never increased by 100 percent. This is wickedness of the highest order.

Business › Re: Is ₦100k Salary Still Enough To Survive In Nigeria? by Richie6(m): 3:13pm On May 01 |
OredoPikin: What about us that work from home? I spend at least 25k on data monthly. Our light is very terrible so I spend at least 3500 on fuel for generator daily (I have to off it repeatedly so it can carry me). So 5days in a week cos I don't bother to buy weekends 4weeks is 70k 70k plus 25k is 95k I never chop o, I never pay plenty other bills
Let's assume I decided to be going to office. Transport is 5k daily. In 22days, thats like 110k And I go still buy data for my personal use.
Okay, 3rd option, rent an apartment close to the office, house rent around that place is 1million minimum for a single self contain (one room o, with ur toilet and bathroom and kitchen, no parlour😂).
Before tinubu became President, 10k fuel dey carry me for a whole month. I don't even use gen most times cos light dey. 1500 dey carry me go office to and fro and change go still dey. I don't even spend upto 10k for data
Honestly, tinubu did alot of us shege. No light Fuel is overly expensive. This is not life at all. All because of one man greed They are some people that sees Tinubu as their Messiah. Especially Agbadorian who are playing tribal politics. The fact still remains Nigeria economy has deteriorated to the point we are surviving by the grace of God. |

Politics › Re: Now That Peter Obi Is All Set To Lose The ADC Nomination And VP Slot by Richie6(m): 2:05am On Apr 21 |
DomPerignon: Go sleep.
Obi that is now going to beg each and every aspirant in ADC to step down and getting his ass turned away is whom you say is not desperate?
Obi knows his bet of getting Atiku to pick him as his VP running mate has collapsed and now to save face he went begging Amaechi to step down for him in a desperate bid to at least have a descent showing in the primaries thinking he can get SS votes.
Not going to happen.
As it stands now, the ADC ticket is between Amaechi (favorite) and Atiku with Kwankwasso as third favorite.
Your Obi will not smell any vote outside his SE base and that is even not sure for him, as SE ADC members will be on sale during the direct primaries peddling their votes to the highest bidder.
This ADC primaries will expose Obi as feather weight over hyped and expired Social media trend. All of a sudden Obi will come last in ADC primary. Agbadorian spotted here 😂 |
Politics › Re: Now That Peter Obi Is All Set To Lose The ADC Nomination And VP Slot by Richie6(m): 12:08am On Apr 21 |
DomPerignon: The recently amended electoral law makes it a crime to have registered as a member of more than one party.
Peter Obi claimed on his defection to the ADC that he has always been a member of the ADC. I am not sure if he has resigned officially from LP or even registered as a member of the ADC but what is clear is that the window for him to register in another political party is closing in fast as INEC has set deadlines for submission of political parties' member registers.
If Obi is planning on resigning from the ADC as is much expected now that he has been told to his face by other strong contenders that he won't be getting any free ticket and that no one will step down for him to be the sole contestant unopposed, there remains a small issue at hand.
Just like in the case of the disgraced former ADC National Chairman, the interim NWC will have to submit a resignation notice alongside a copy of Obi's resignation letter from the party through his ward chairman.
What if David Mark refuses to forward Obi's resignation letter and a notice of his deregisteration as a member of ADC to INEC?
What if Obi's ward chairman refuse to accept his resignation letter or forward it to the interim NWC to update INEC on Obi's resignation?
The warning we have been giving Obi for free that the ADC hijacking faction were wooing him only to trap him in their party so as to not get him to see to split votes as in 2023 is coming to fore. Obi is not will kill himself but move forward since you people want to continue with APC. He has made money and is not interested to loot the treasure. It's the masses suffering and smiling, bearing the brunt of insecurity and banditry. Obi will forever remain a hero because his name is organic |

ufotunang: ..all this because he had no competition in the oil refinery sector.. that is why monopoly is bad when it comes to business If Dangote has like five strong competitors and one of them drop the price sharply. Won't he follow suit? Like you said, monopoly is really bad for the market. I see this as being greedy. |
Business › Re: Crude Oil Price Crash: Why Has Dangote Not Reduced His Fuel Prices? by Richie6(m): 12:58pm On Apr 19 |
success1smyn: Let’s be realistic for once, my brother—this doesn’t just happen in the local market. Even you, as a business person, wouldn’t slash your prices immediately at the slightest drop in global market prices. That’s the hard truth, and it’s something that happens everywhere.
Business owners tend to raise prices quickly when their costs go up because they want to protect their profit margins immediately, but when costs fall, they move slowly to reduce prices because they’re trying to recover past losses and build a cushion for future uncertainty. In reality, prices are not just about current cost—they also reflect risk, stability, and survival. If businesses drop prices too fast, they may struggle to cope when costs rise again, especially in unpredictable markets. This behavior isn’t unique to one place; it’s a practical, global pattern driven by the simple truth that the primary goal of any business is to stay profitable and sustainable over time. Are you supporting evil or trying to sit on the fence? |
