anthropizzy: This is wrong and false. I have been able to interact with a lot of people from this thread who did interview and failed. They reapplied for other roles and were successful. An interview is a meeting where they physically assess you and your suitability for the role. If you weren't successful, it means you were not suitable for hat role. You may be suitable for other roles. Imagine applying for a role as the chief information security officer. At interview stage, the realise that you're not fit for the job. Meanwhile you're really good at customer service. I know others that were successful in an interview but unfortunately, the role has been filled or is limited. They'll keep you in a pool. So when next there's an availability, you're contacted ASAP. Someone from nairaland was in this scenario for a couple of months. She has gotten an offer now. Don't give up! 1 Like |

richmondefosa: Today is the 22nd of March. If you know anyone working in Stanbic IBTC, or any of the holding companies, BILL THEM EXCESSIVELY!! Stanbic has paid them Bonus. Stanbic has also done a Salary increase across board and promoted a lot of people. BTA 2 is now 310k net If you recall from the beginning of this thread, it used to be 254k. ABO freshers are going home with 511k net from what used to be 350k Again, aside from the financial rewards, I still maintain that Stanbic IBTC is the best place to work. Come and join us and have an engaging and rewarding career with us. 3 Likes |

Ocon: Hi! I don't work in HR. I don't know anyone who works there. I genuinely have no influence over employment or any hiring process. I only provide information and guidance on what you need to know and our culture here in Stanbic IBTC. Go to the career portal of Stanbic IBTC website. Check for suitable roles and shoot at as many as you feel you're qualified for. The worst that can happen is a rejection mail. When you get that, give it a go again. I know people who tried many times before eventually getting in. Wishing you all the very best. Cheers! 1 Like |

preshOnogwu1: I genuinely do not see the problem. Resume with Access Bank training school. Stanbic has not offered you anything concrete yet but Access has. When Stanbic offers you an employment contract, only then can you be rest assured that you've gotten the job. Since it's DiSEP, you'll be meeting me soon. Cheers |

brainiac228: Stanbic has different pathways to join as a tech inclined person. There is the DigiTAP and DiSEP program. If you scale through successfully, you are coming to IT. Regular graduate trainees, Contract staff and full-time staff in other departments can also switch to tech subject to the availability of the role and suitability of the candidate. I did not have a tech background but I switched to IT (the non-technical side). These are the various ways. Stanbic still has some software developers who are not Stanbic staff. They are outsourced from Companies like TEK Experts, Uridium Technologies, SBSC, etc. I believe this answers your questions and satisfies your curiosity. Cheers. 3 Likes |

brainiac228: Stanbic ABO now is #511,000 net (your take home salary after all deductions) BO is now 650-700k net We're already in March. By 20th, It'll be increased and I'll come back to update this thread with my findings. There's no difference in salary between business areas. You can only have difference in Bonus which is of course due to several factors; appraisal performance inclusive. I hope this helps. Cheers |
Career / Re: He Refused To Pay Me After Terminating My Contract (for Asking For Salary) by richmondefosa(m): 8:55pm On Feb 29 |
First of all, I need you to understand that your employment is/was a contract. Were you issued an offer letter? What were the terms of employment? If mid way, your employer is coming up with KPI, there should be documentation which clearly outlines what the KPIs are and you're to sign the document which shows that you agree. Was this done? What does your offer letter say about termination from either party? That said, you have a very solid case for breach of contractual agreement. I would have said you should get yourself a lawyer but the way I dey look the matter so, you may not have enough to see the case through. If you don't return the laptop, he'll involve the police and say it's theft. We've heard several cases like this and it doesn't end up well. My advise? Even though say money hard. Get a lawyer. Except of course the balance wwey you dey fight for no reach anything. |

I am a seller. I buy cars, fix whatever fault it may have and resell. I could have decided to put different pictures, but I didn't see the need to. Does it answer your questions and clear whatever doubts you may have? I am open to further engagements if you wish. I don't have anything to hide. Not the first car I am buying and reselling on nairaland. The price is negotiable. If you need it, hit me up lets discuss. |

sexyto: Probably from the angle I took the picture. But I won't post another to please you. If you strongly think it has been repainted, put your money where your mouth is. My offer still stands. Come and Inspect it, see for yourself and earn cool 150k in this harsh economy or pay me 100k for doubting me. I think I have made the options easy. If you want to own the car, I'm also a dm or chat away. Schedule an appointment for inspection. Come with your Engineers and test the wonders of the Germans on wheels. 1 Like |
